My friends and I had a short stay while passing through Escalante to explore the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, but we enjoyed the property and town of Escalante, nonetheless. The residence was clean, and the bed and couch were comfortable and allowed us much needed rest.

We appreciated this home as a place to explore the area from (centrally located to so many things to explore). Having laundry facilities was great (we’d been hiking and exploring for extended period, clean laundry was wonderful). Our stay was very comfortable.

My husband and I were very happy with this little house. Our stay was very comfortable. The house had everything we needed to make meals. The only challenge was getting the tv to work. I would highly recommend this place. Perfect for two but could sleep 4 people without a problem.

The house was very clean and modern. The small kitchen area was perfect for our group. Even though it was small, the appliances were new and worked well. Having the toilet area in a different room than the shower is a plus! The big washer and dryer were also much appreciated. There are no closets and limited hooks which is the only negative to the place. Sheila communicated quickly each time I had a question. Overall it’s a very great place to stay!

This was a great home base to explore all that the area has to offer. We will definitely stay again next time we venture into Escalante.

Place was warm and inviting. Our family loved the little house. Area around house is nice as well. Would recommend anyone checking out Escalante to stay at the little house.

It was nice and comfortable. We were sad that the refrigerator broke down.

The property was clean cozy and had all the amenities that a hotel didn’t have washer and dryer fridge and freezer dishwasher tv with a lot of options for watching tv.

We stopped in Escalante for 2 days as part of a trip through Utah to hike. This property certainly met our needs to have a base for hikes. The pictures represent the property well. It is close to town which has several decent options for eating out. We would stay there again.

We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

This house suited our needs perfectly. Loved all the extra touches that made us feel comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with stocked paper supplies, coffee, laundry detergent, etc. An added bonus since we are early risers was the rooster crowing on the outskirts of town each morning. Thanks for having us!

This home was comfortable, clean and had what we needed for a cozy, little stay. We had a snow storm while in town, so we spent a lot of our time tucked inside. The hosts graciously shoveled around our car during our stay. Would stay here again!

It was absolutely perfect for our needs!! The view was expansive and it was really clean, updated, and super comfortable!! The bed was the best and I had the best night sleep ever!! I highly recommend this beautiful place!

This property was perfect for my husband and me to have a base from which to explore the Escalante National Monument. It was well supplied, tastefully furnished and decorated and clean. The host was very responsive, helpful and supportive.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful. It is perfect for a couple or small family. The view from the cottage is amazing. Host made check in a breeze and so simple. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

Loved the location. Very clean. Bright. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Large clock on wall did keep my husband awake. We would return.

The cottage appears to be brand new. Very clean. Had all the kitchen items we needed to make simple meals. Firm bed. Very quiet. Perfect for our trip.

Property inside is exactly as shown. Highly functional and modestly priced for what you get. What is understated is the spectacular views/scenery you have out all of the windows and the large patio with a 6 person table and a 4 person fire pit. NIght sky is outstanding (though there is some street and neighboring house lighting that affects viewing slightly). The neighborhood/town of Escalante is quite interesting. This property is right up against a beautiful large newer home, and the neighborhood is mixed with nice homes and old broken down homes/small farms. The treat of each day (at least for a city person like me) was watching the cattle across the street be allowed to graze outside the farm along the neighborhood streets then rustled back in by the kids with an ATV and the dogs. Experiences like this and the endless hiking opportunities make this area and this home a fantastic choice.

My wife and I stayed for a few days while visiting Bryce Canyon. The home itself is well furnished, and clean and is certainly among our favorite homes we’ve stayed at. Sitting on the back patio is a great place to watch sunrise and sunset, and the town is quiet and quaint. Of note, the back yard only has a fence on one side so there isn’t much privacy if that is something that is important to you, although there is only one neighbor who is close by.

This was a very nice studio rental. The unit was well stocked and very clean. It was conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again.
