This is the second time me and my partner has stayed in Clare’s lovely cottage. It’s a beautiful quiet area and is a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage is perfect for what we wanted the whole process was very easy and Clare was very accommodating with any questions and even provided milk tea and coffee which was very nice. The cottage was very clean and the sofa and bed was very comfortable. There are many places near by of interest as-well as a shop. Our stay was wonderful and definitely would come back again, perfect relaxing holiday for couples.

Great little cottage, perfect for what we needed. Lovely touch of tea, coffee, sugar and milk for arrival. Would definitely recommend.

I found the place to be remote enough to be quiet but near enough to places to shop or explore some wonderful scenery and places to visit. My visit went too quick, and I would consider coming back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. A perfect bolt hole for a long weekend of adventuring!

A very nice stay, in a lovely part of the world. I would thoroughly recommend it for a couple who wanted to explore Snowdonia and the surrounding region

The cottage is cosy and was great for a one-person stay. It’s within a few miles of shops (at Penygroes) and is not far from Rhyd Ddu village (and walking track to the top of Mount Snowdon). It’s also easy to get to other sightseeing areas - eg, Caernarfon, Bangor, Anglesey, Barmouth, Mach Loop, Dolgellau. And there are plenty of rambling walking tracks nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at Clare's so very much. The place was lovely, quite and peaceful. Clare has been incredibly helpful and kind. She went above and beyond her responsibilities as a host. On my first evening there, she picked me up in a remote town where I accidentally ended up, not knowing the area... I would recommend this stay. If you're a solo traveler you will feel safe and supported, and the surrounding area is so beautiful, with lots of walks and places to visit!

Me and my partner stayed here for my birthday this week and we could not have asked for a better place to have stayed. Clare is so helpful and she goes out her way to find things to do that you specifically want to be doing. The cottage was beautiful, the location was just gorgeous and super quiet. Very clean property with everything you need to be sufficient .would definitely recommend and will definitely be back if it's peace and quiet you want then this is the place to go and a great price and if you like to walk then the disused quarry behind the property is perfect to walk round and is full of history

Hi when we seen this cottage on your web site it looked lovely and went ahead and booked it.on ariving at cottage were handed the keys and went to enter the cottage only to that the cottage was split in two.so realy we wer sharing the cottage.nothing on the web site about that.the noise from the other guests moving around early in mornings and at night not good.the bed was very hard and noisy also the seate in the living room smelt musty we put a throw over it when sitting on it if we had known this would not have booked.very.disapointed as we wanted a quiet break.hope you can add this to your web site that people booking understand this.we came a day early as we had no pease and quiet thanks derek&bernardette.

4 night stay in a lovely clean cosy cottage. Perfect for 2 people. Location brilliant for Mount Snowdon and surrounding area. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Excellent host.

Also the sofa in our accommodation was well past it’s best. The Cushions where so soft, you sank into them and you couldn’t sit properly. The tv remote didn’t work, although there where so few channels to choose it didn’t really matter. The sink area was located below the stairs leading to the bedroom, which meant you had to be careful you didn’t bang your head on them when you went to the sink. I’m only 5ft 8” and I hit it a couple of times. If your over 6ft, you may end up with a lot of bumps on your head by the end of your stay. All I can say is if your not that fussy and can live with that, the cottage location is superb. The road to Ryhd Ddu that it’s on is spectacular. And your surrounded by many attractions and other note worthy locations. So it is great for that, but I and my wife won’t be returning to this rental.

Great place for visiting Snowdon National park, Isle of Anglesey basicly whole norht Wales. Thank you and hope to come back there soon.

The property was as expected in its layout. It was very clean and tidy everywhere and had all we needed for a self-catering stay. The bed was comfortable and I slept well every night (I'm someone whose body can be severely upset by the bed!). The vista was beautiful and it was all very quiet. It suited us very well indeed.

Rustic but has everything you need. An absolute steal for the price. We had the perfect trip. Loved every second and it’s beautiful nestled around the lakes!
