We had an amazing stay at a beautiful property. Close enough to the crazy, but not on top of it. Gorgeous swimming pools for our kids to splash around in. Only (minor) complaint was the friendliness of the check-in personnel at the front desk, and the slow communication with our host. But we would absolutely come back again!

We came to celebrate our son's graduation from his BSN RN. It was a wonderful relaxing time. We come to Galveston periodically for getaways, but stay in houses on the beach. I think this is our favorite simply because of the property and what it had to offer. It didn't disappoint. I was told that there may not be units that hold up to 12, but I am hoping so. We want our entire family to come next time.

Nice property. Lots of things for kids and adults to do. Condo was nicely decorated and had all things needed. Windows were filthy and we requested them to be cleaned, which never happened. Property is well maintained. Good location for beach.

The condo is as advertised. Beautiful views. Comfortable furnishings. BUT, The dishes were filthy. The A/C was making noise because the air filter hadn’t been changed in years! One pan had dried eggs in it. The condo is not very well stocked with simple things. There was bird poop on everything on the balcony as well. The property manager on site helped me get everything cleaned up. But the management company maintaining brigs property gets a BIG F!!!!!!!!!!!!!’n

Great view but unfortunately the windows were dirty. Master bed linens need an upgrade and pots and pans need to be replaced. It’s a beautiful unit but it’s a premium for the view and floor so the patio furniture needs to be upgraded. Great resort with amazing amenities for the kids!

The location and amenities were great. The actual unit was not well equipped in the kitchen, no spatula, no non stick pans, pans were very old and scratched, The pull out couch did not offer blankets and pillows. The unit was very poorly cleaned. The patio area was in such bad shape it's not enjoyable.

Awesome place. Could have gotten more for ouroney if it hadn't of been cold and raining the whole trip but that's not the locations fault. For that reason I booked this place with the indoor pool. I do wish someone would have told me that you need to book the movie theater days in advance because just because we didn't know..we didn't get to use it. It was booked the entire time Then since it was raining and cold the pool and lazy river essentially went unused. We would like to come back hopefully at a less costly time and during the summer when we can use all the amenities provided but it was a great place! Oh side note this particular unit needs new pans and a spatula, but again. Great spot and would stay again for sure!

Overall, this condo is beautiful. Fantastic views, great location and comfy for 6 people. During the summer season we are sure that this place would be much more enjoyable. However, while renting in January we found that due to low occupancy they complex was very understaffed and therefore very under serviced. The indoor pool was dirty (so much so that we didn’t want our kids swimming in it). They “cleaned” the pool on day two because of several resident complaints, but there were still clumps of hair floating around. The outdoor pools and hot tubs were out of service. The bars were closed. The game room was dirty and even the video games (although turned on) didn’t work. The unit itself was quite dirty and needed service. We found a bloody towel in one of the bathroom cabinets, crumbs on the table and floors, one bath and the kitchen faucet were both damaged (although they still worked), and the kitchen cookware and cooking utensils are in very poor condition (one pot even had non-stick surface peeling off). The property owner did respond quickly when we notified him of the lack of hot water, which was promptly fixed. However, I did share with him photos/explanation of most of issues and while I did tell him that we were not expecting any sort of credit/discount, it would’ve been nice to receive an apology and response.

This place is great and secure. I do wish that the beach part was in front instead of the seawall, but that my my mistake not realizing. I like to see the waves break. The room was okay but could have been cleaner. Also the dish washer is hard to press the button because of how the contertop in designed so be sure to press it well. We have to precast our dishes because they didn't seem properly cleaned.

I stayed here with my fiance and kids and we loved it! Great location on the island and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

If you’re looking for high thread count sheets and towels, this isn’t the place for you. The king sized bed sheets were too big and came off every night and the comforter is atrocious. Also the towels are the flat, cheap ones from Walmart. I should’ve listened to the other reviews and they are right about the black mold in the master shower and shower heads. I’ve been here 3 times and this was the worst condo I’ve used. The only saving grace was the view and the lazy River/swimming area. We were meeting our oldest son’s very serious girlfriend and she also stayed with us. I don’t usually give bad reviews and can overlook a lot but to pay for cleaning and this is what I get? Also for the price we paid we expected so much better. I won’t use this owner’s condos again.

Lazy river was awesome. Theater was cool you use Netflix. Took time to learn but was cool. Fitness center is all to yourself and gameroom was cool. Will stay here in the future.

Condo has beautiful views of the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

The check in process was very easy and smooth. The property is beautiful! Our room was a bit smaller than we thought and it was pretty cramped with 8 people. The beds were not comfortable, especially the twin trundle bed and pullout bed. The sheets were very thin. Two of the TVs weren’t working but the property manager promptly came and replaced the cables. The TVs only had basic cable, and no smart TVs (if you want to watch anything else, bring your own Roku/Firestick/etc and your own cables). The amenities were great, there’s a small theater and indoor pool. The bars and spa were closed which wasn’t a huge deal for us. The beach access is basically a narrow trail and you have to walk a ways down to get to a good beach area since it’s so close to the Seawall and rocks. We enjoyed our stay at this facility but next time, we will get a different room.

Property is nice but disappointed that the slide was not working. One of the the reasons we looked here was the pool and slide. Kids were very disappointed I will say Lazy river and pool are great! The condo is nice. Needs some updates though. Furniture is stained and both showers have lots of mold in them . AC makes a strange dripping noise and did contact the manager the day we got there about it and was told someone would come out. But they never did. Overall a nice place to stay.

Very nice just needs to work on the arcade are needs a better way to down to beach. The remote needed to be replaced in movies. Just a few things needed working on. But a beautiful place pools are awesome rooms are very nice.

Tons of black mold on both shower heads in the master shower and all over the tile grout (I'm not exaggerating, it was disgusting). Master bedroom door jams in the frame and does NOT close, so also won't lock. The door also makes a very loud noise when trying to open it, due to it being jammed. I woke my sleeping partner up multiple times with that stupid door. One of the spare bedrooms had no working lights in it. We had to move a lamp from another room. The sliding patio door, when fully closed, made a constant high-pitched whistling noise. Luckily this was just for a few hours, but it still kept one of our guests awake. The spare bathroom made an annoying noise the entire time. The best way I know how to describe the noise is a "glug glug glug" coming from a pipe or something. Other minor things wrong: Master bedroom plastic light switch panel was ripped; some of the blinds were missing; During the power outtage that started some time early in the morning, the fire alarm constantly beeped, waking us all up Friday night, when we arrived, the lazy river wasn't working. We weren't sure why, and didn't call to ask, we just hoped it would work the next day. Saturday, the lazy river was working. Early Sunday morning, the power went out and came back on around 2pm. We hoped we could enjoy some time in the lazy river, but again, it wasn't working. This time we called the front desk and were told maintenance was aware. It never came on that day. So one of their best amenities was unavailable to us two days out of our three available days to enjoy them. Unfortunately, this is my second time staying at Diamond Beach during a power outtage (last time was tropical storm Nicholas). I know it's not their fault when the power goes out, but when it does, the elevators do not work... One of our guests recently had surgery on her leg, and the stairs up and down from the fifth floor were enough to cause her pain throughout the rest of the trip. Also, the stairwells had no lighting and were pitch black. During our stay, I messaged through the VRBO app about all of the issues we were having and didn't receive a response until after I was back home. I spoke to someone on the phone today who asked me to send the videos I had taken of the mold in the shower and the door to the master bedroom. After sending the videos, I asked if he received them, then never got a response. I doubt I'd rent from this management company again.

Easy check in, lots of activity to enjoy on the grounds and good access to the beach. Great place to stay.

This property is in a great location. Condo was nicely decorated. View of the ocean was excellent. Linens were in short supply for a family of 6. Comforter in Master bedroom was stained. The noise of the pipe in bathroom kept us awake at night. Dryer did not work and we were not notified that it did not work. It is a very nice resort but some of the amenities were not available. For the price we expected more.

Lovely condo in a great complex.

I love the Diamond Beach Resort. I have stayed there twice before. This specific condo did not meet our expectations. The paint is peeling all over the condo, the decor is very dated and the furniture is worn,. It needs a thorough deep cleaning. The towels were super small and there were no beach towels to use at all. Every other condo I have stayed in was better supplied. The sink in the bathroom “gurgled” the entire time. The view is wonderful and the bed very comfortable but it did not meet our expectations for the rate we paid .
