Really enjoyed the property- good location. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Had everything we needed.

This property was big enough to house us all with a nice big kitchen at the centre. 2 large sitting rooms and large bedrooms. The garden was lovely for the younger children. We wanted to be near the wye for canoeing so it was ideal! The property was very clean although a bit tired in places but suited us perfectly. We were able to go in early on our arrival date and there was a welcome pack with some local produce, gratefully received 😊 would definitely recommend a visit!

From booking to arrival the hosts were there to answer all questions, very helpful. We found the place bigger than we imagined. A large family gathering to round off birthday celebrations! We had a fantastic long weekend. Fri-Monday Sunday evening sat on the side of the river in glorious sunshine. The area is very beautiful and having the house too made it very enjoyable. Spacious and comfortable. Couldn’t of hoped for more….

Great place to stay with family and the little ones. Really close to activities for the small ones and loved being near the river. Just off the main road so easy to access the othe towns nearby (Monmouth and Ross on Wye). Accomodation was great and large rooms/# of beds/bathrooms.

11 of us stayed in this lovely home during half term. White Roses is spacious, clean and well equipped. It is very close to lots of riverside walks and other attractions in a beautiful area. We had a fantastic stay - thank you.

9 of us (6 adults, 3 teens) plus greyhound stayed here during Xmas and New Year. The house is large and spacious (and warm) with plenty of room for 9 + dog to lounge and eat together. Bedrooms are spacious and beds comfy, bathrooms were spotless. Great location, although the weather was dire, so we spent lots of time enjoying the house. Garden was fully enclosed for the dog and spacious enough to let off steam. Hosts were communicative, helpful and welcoming Brilliant all round. Thank you.

16 of us stayed in the house recently (8 adults and 8 young children in 4 families of 4). The rooms were fantastic - all a good size, clean and the beds were amazingly comfy. Modern bathrooms too. The communal spaces also excellent - a huge hallway and a porch which make a difference for lots of people with coats and shoes etc. Plenty of room for 4 cars on the driveway. We didn’t use the garden much as a little set back from the main house, but probably more because it was wet and windy so would be good in summer I’m sure. The water pressure is limited so you have to plan showers a little but we didn’t find that to be a problem. Great location in easy drive to lots of fantastic walks and activities. Lovely local shop and takeaway right in the corner too. Mariane was very helpful before the stay and very quick to respond including setting up a stair gate for us. Highly recommend and we’d happily go back.

We had a great time in White Roses for our party of 12, 5 adults, 7 children. Great games of cricket in the garden, eating outside and Bbqs. Plenty of room for us all. Plenty to do around Symonds Yat West and East including walks and canoeing. Bike hire nearby in Parkend. Lovely welcome from Gary and Marianne. Great house to stay in. Fab house, fab times!
