Really great location overlooking a golf course with mountains in the background. Has everything you need for a wonderful Princeville stay.

Unit 521 (3BR, 3Bath): We had a great stay!
Great stay, very nice condo, we’re pleased we booked it. Roomy & comfortable. Our 5th Kauai vacation, we had visited but never stayed on the north shore. It does rain/get overcast more up here, though. And though there is a rather long list of suggested improvements, please know we were very pleased with this condo and loved our stay! Note: as this condo was not available for our entire stay, for our last 4 nights we moved to a 1BR condo in Kapaa.
The Good/Compliments:
- Presents as shown in the photos, plenty roomy for 6 (we only had 2), nicely laid out. Nice and clean when we arrived.
- A/C worked great (lots of humid days during our stay).
- Extremely pleased with how well-stocked it was for almost all paper/soap goods...for our 11-day stay, more than enough toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, even coffee filters – well done!
- Also, 5 nice big beach towels (in kitchen closet), 4 or 5 beach chairs (garage), 2 or 3 beach umbrellas (garage), nice-sized rigid-sided cooler (garage – but see below).
- Plenty of towels in all bathrooms & kitchen, plus extras in a linen closet in one of the bathrooms
- Cyrila & Angela were very responsive when our few questions/issues arose.
- The master king and 2nd BR queen mattresses are very comfortable indeed. But see sheets below.
- Three ice blocks for cooler in freezer – nice!
- Nice full-size washer & dryer, worked great. Dishwasher, fridge, stove, micro all great as well.
- The wooden bowl near the door is a great thing for keeping all the essentials in one place (keys, watch, wallet, etc)...many places do this, but they all should!
- Master bath is beautiful (the 2 others are just fine as well), soaking tub & shower. Shower head has pretty decent pressure, works just fine. As do the shower heads in the 2 other baths.
- The heavy light-blocking shades on all windows & sliding doors are a real plus.

Great place with a good view!
Great place on the north shore. AC worked well for the master and living room. The fans did a good job in the other rooms. We had to extend our stay at the last minute and they were happy to do it. Prompt response to resolve an internet connection issue that came up during the stay. There is some traffic on the road in front of the patio during the day. The view of the mountains from the unit is awesome!

Beautiful Kaua'i
My family and I decided on a last minute getaway. We were extremely lucky this rental was still available since we were literally days before springbreak started. The rental is BEAUTIFUL. The whole unit was very roomy. Every room had its own bathroom. The kitchen wasn't huge, it was just right. There were small minor flaws. Hot water kicked off late on our first day. Plumber came to fix it morning of our 3rd day. Tack strip for the carpet was showing in master bedroom. Someone came around to remedy that. Overall our stay was awesome. Views are beautiful. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. 4 Stars

Nice trip
Thanks for letting us use your house. It was a nice place. Can't really comment on management as we didn't interact with them. House was well prepared even down to the smaller details. We'd definitely use again.

Great place for family
We were able to have a great time with our extended family in comfort with this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home. Re-Max did a great job accommodating an unexpected issue with our initial rental.

Excellent place with wonderful views
It was very easy to feel at home here. The place is very spacious and and comfortable. It was stocked with enough items to get you through your stay. The lanai is fantastic, we looked forward to coffee on it every morning. Great place overall!

North Shore Plantation stay

Rainy but warm. Nice neighbors within the Plantations complex. This unit has a fantastic view of the golf course and the mountains. We used the electric grill on the lanai most evenings. Our only complaint is one of the sliding doors has a broken seal, and the space within the glass panes is cloudy spoiling the view somewhat.

A couple and 2 of our friends spent 8 nights at #521. Aside from a few initial issues, maintenance and cleaning related, we really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views, but a lot of traffic noise when trying to enjoy them on the lanai.

Lovely Plantation Home
This home is lovely and in a wonderful location. The view off the living room and master bedroom is spectacular. The view of the lush green Hanalei mountains are gorgeous. We had everything we wanted, needed. We were unable to operate the TV's, but did not come to Kauai to watch TV. Would have liked to watch the news. A few minor issues were relayed to Re/Max. I would love to stay here again.

Nice little rental
Overall happy with our experience here. The rental was very clean, very nicely equipped. I had a couple questions before our trip and the remax agent was great about communication. Overall the unit was exactly what we expected. A couple things to note for future renters: it has a lovely view of the golf course and mountains from the lanai, but the traffic is so loud and constant on the road we rarely sat out there. Also, the WiFi worked fine enough for our purposes, but if you needed to do a zoom or more demanding online work, it might be a bit slow.

Kauai Experience
Everything was great, except for the TV's. Totally confusing and unable to use. We also had parked in the driveway for less than 5 minutes to run upstairs and get something when we were greeted by a very nasty person who reminded us we couldn't park in the driveway. Didn't know you had people policing what we were doing that closely. No one was inconvenienced. We also had an issue with the toilet and it took two days for Remax to respond. Fix your directions. They were difficult to follow.

Spacious, clean, and nice!! The pics don't do this place justice
Really enjoyed our time at this home. The pool and hot tub were great and we loved the porch overlooking the golf course and had just about every meal outside. The internet worked well (I read a few old reviews that said it didn't work) and supported my girlfriend and I both working on Zoom meetings during the day without issue. Nice gym that you have access to as well. We've been staying at different airbnbs over Kauai for the last month to get a week on each side of the island and this was definitely the nicest one we stayed at over the month. Nothing I would mark this place down for, thanks for having us!

My dream home
Spacious condo. Well equipped right to cooking oils and spices, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and a foam roller! Beautiful view of the mountains and golf course. Water pressure is low so important to give dishes a good rinse rather than relying on dishwasher. I'd definately stay here again!

The property was beautiful and exactly as it was presented online. Had an issue with the wifi. It was Sunday. I called and was immediately taken care of. Problem resolved right away. Very impressive service. Overall fantastic experience on all facets.

Wonderful Service!
The REMAX team was wonderful throughout our stay. Angela, Cyrila and Jim were responsive to all of our requests for information, and led us to some enjoyable new experiences on the North Shore. The condo was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. We will definitely rent from them again!

Location was perfect. Accommodations ok, but no air conditioner vents in two guest rooms. One bedroom was impossible to sleep in, and ended up on the couch

Beautiful Home Great Location
Great Layout and wonderfully appointed with all the items our family wanted. Even had beach gear and a private garage! Would have given 5 stars on maintenance though smoke detector batteries got low on our first night and chirped from 2am on with no replacement battery and garbage disposal did not work, there's a sign that says its weak, so they should replace it with a high quality one. Maybe they have by when you stay!

family vacation
When we were looking for a place on Kauai, we needed one to accommodate our family with 5 adults and a 2 year old. From the minute I booked this one, I had a good feeling. We arrived and the home was lovely, and looked better than the photos. Plenty of room for everyone, we all had our own bedroom/bathroom, and it was safe for the toddler. The few times we had to communicate with the agent, we got an instant reply and they answered all of our questions. The pool was within walking distance, and it was always very quiet. Beautiful views and lots of different birds to watch. We took morning walks along the golf course. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Plenty of towels and linens. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Great Stay
Rental was in good shape, beds were comfortable, kitchen was workable (need new knives!), location was fantastic, and we enjoyed the view from the porch. Main con was the traffic noise in the bedroom with the double bed. We were traveling with a one year old and the place was well suited for children.

Plantation 521 was Great,unit was clean.amenities offered in the unit we're great!! All though Wi-fi was complimentary,it was out of service Matt stopped by,modem was to far gone.he called for trouble shoot.other than that location great.would definitely return & recommend.the The property manager ladies we're Wonderful & very helpfulThank you for a Fabulous time.

Top Notch Princeville Condo-Need I say more?
Quite spacious and very well appointed/equipped condo in a great location. Only downside: no a/c in 2 smaller bedrooms, so sleep with those doors open. Beautiful views of mountains (and waterfalls after rains). No water views, but walking distance to Queens Bath, Hideaways and Hotel (ok, long walk). (there is a small 8 car lot for public parking at the hotel, but get there early for a space). We weren't thrilled with the responsiveness of the rental agency--we were almost locked out our first night on late evening flight arrival. Our fault, but easily avoidable with prompt response for lockbox info.

The condo was clean and neat; the funiture was shabby and threadbare in places. the mountain views were fabulous but we paid for it in the noise on the main street between us and the golf course. Would have liked to have known that before rental. Customer service was great when a couple of things went awry during our stay. Fans were difficult to reach to adjust speeds; no air conditioning in bedrooms #2 and #3. Kitchen needs thorough cleaning including dishwasher and pans under the oven (rusted)

Plantations #521 - Great Place
House was almost perfect. Lights in master bath were not working and towel rack fell off upon taking a towel off the rack. Other than that the place was as shown in pictures if not nicer. I would recommend this place. The 3 bedroom 3 bath makes it very nice for a family with grown children to vacation together. Location was a little hard to find because we arrived late and it was dark.

This property was perfect for us because we were traveling with an infant. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The view was amazing!

Air Conditioning
Above all, this was a beautiful condo, lots of amenities, great location, etc. The only downfall is that the back rooms do not have A/C. I was there in July and the heat and humidity was difficult to deal with. I was stuck in the back room, not the master suite, and had a heck of a time getting comfortable. The trade winds were few and far between. The rest of the condo and the master suite were pleasant because the only a/c vents were in the main area of the condo and in the master suite. If its not the hottest time of year, then I'm sure this isn't an issue. Great place to stay otherwise! Loved it!!

Paradise again
Over the past 12 years I have vacationed on Kauai 6 times, and each time I find something more amazing then the last. I have stayed at several properties and this time I stayed at Plantation 521 using Remax as the property broker. Overall this property was fantastic; super clear, well stocked, very nicely decorated, beds were comfortable for all of the travelers (6), beautiful views of waterfalls, great location for all of our excursions, and lots of unexpected extras. Remax was easy to work with the very helpful when I had questions. The gym was nice and well equipped for club house gym and the pool and BBQ’s were well maintained and full of propane every time. Our condo was on the second floor and backed up to a feeder road and this was not a problem the traffic and traffic noise was not noticeable to us. The three bedroom three bath configuration matched our needs and made the experience great (plenty of room for everyone). My overall experience was five star, thank you Remax and Kauai.

Nice well maintened property
Nice well equipped and maintained property for a reasonable price. The property faces the golf course with great views of the mountains but a there is a bit of noise from the main road when you are the in lanai or if the windows are open.

Loved our stay
We absolutely loved our stay. Property is in a very nice part of Kauai. The area is BEAUTIFUL! The property included everything we need for our week stay including extras like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards. I highly recommend staying here.
