Cozy space in a quiet and beautiful location. Super friendly staff, exemplary cleanliness, very nice swimming pool open 24 hours, good Wi-Fi, terrace in the room asking for a few minutes of contemplation of the unique night sky in Alqueva. Very good breakfast and the staff don't miss anything. It has a common area that allows you to make barbecue, or heat food in a microwave. The relative proximity to the beach river of Azenhas del Rei and Monsaraz, makes the stay complete. 10 stars

The location and views were stunning. Lovely really big room and bathroom. Lots of added thoughtful touches. Staff really friendly and helpful. Sad we only had just 1 night there.

We were last into breakfast and coffee had been turned off and croissant obviously warmed some time ago - that is the only negative. Everything else amazing.

Breakfast was superb. Home made cakes, fresh orange juice, fruits from the local farm, traditional bread and Portuguese coffee. They have regular milk available but if you ask, they have other drinks available like oat milk, for instance.

The staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely and the rooms very clean. The freshly made orange cake was delicious.

We were given a wrong room, we booked the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, with a big bed and a twin bed was given. The room has a large size, but a bit unusual disposition. The breakfast was very disappointing... in a rural place we were expecting to get more variety. We were also not informed in the check in on how things worked, for example the pool had a jacuzzi option that there were no signs to know.

The quietness of the surroundings was really relaxing. The night sky is simply incredible. The pool was nice. The owners were nice except for something I will mention below.

Since we are talking about a property in the middle of nowhere, it would be nice to have a sort of kitchenette in the rooms. The idea of detailing everything we would want for breakfast (from a list) is reasonable but in practice it does not work well. People change their minds and it's not likely to imagine what we will want for breakfast the next day but since we had already selected what we wanted it is not possible to change on the same day. Moreover, we were only allowed to have 1 small glass of orange juice per person. Not fully understanding the rules for breakfast, we asked for more and were told it's not possible because "it is expensive". This answer was not nice and these restrictions, for the price range of the stay are also not nice. It was honestly the first time I was denied more orange juice. If you dont like soft beds, dont go for this one. Couldn't sleep properly because of that.

Lovely and peaceful monte in the middle of a typical Alentejo landscape. During the day you'll likely see sheeps grazing. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great, full of homemade and regional treats. The room itself is spacious and clean, and both the room and the property have everything you need to be comfortable and autonomous.
