Very friendly hosts, awesome place with lots of birds, very quite and green. We loved it.

Zeer charmant, gastvrij, vriendelijke accommodatie. Eigenaren erg behulpzaam en relaxed. Van alle gemakken voorzien, keuken top, prima locatie, klein zwembadje, veilig. Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen.

The small pool, the lovely little cottages, the plants and landscaping, the convenience of the shared kitchen, was nice a quiet, lots of wildlife.. Leo the friendly host and his dogs. The nearby beaches.

Pool was right out side my little home and the grounds were a joy so perfectly manicured and well taken care of

Heel vriendelijke mensen, die met je meedenken. De appartementen liggen in een romantische setting. Het zwembad is mooi aangelegd en heel schoon. We mochten op dag van vertrek iets langer blijven i.v.m. vertrek vliegtuig De prijskwaliteit is heel goed. Van harte aanbevolen!

Er werd gebouwd bij de buren, maar daar is weinig aan te doen. Over een tijdje zal dat wel over zijn.

Het terrein, de locatie in de natuur , de sfeer en gezelligheid. Heel basic ingericht maar dat is best wel ok. het ontbijt was correct. luxe is niet altijd nodig op vakantie

Wij waren verrast dat er geen airconditioning was , maar dat was onze eigen fout, te snel moeten beslissen. Ook al was het warm , er was er geen warm water.

This is an absolutely fantastic place for people who want to spend time in peace and away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. There is everything you could need on site. Very close to a small beach with almost no people. Great places for snorkeling and diving. The village where De Octopus is located is friendly, peaceful and safe. I spent a wonderful, relaxing time there! To be honest, I didn't expect so many different animals (I'm not talking about the owners' wonderful dogs and cat, of course 🙂), but after all, that's what living close to nature entails. Fortunately, the mosquito net allowed me to sleep undisturbed🙂

Rooms was very cute and rustic with ensuite bathroom with garden (how beautiful!). You have everything you need. Comfortable bed, mosquito net, fan... There is a pool also, though small, it's new and clean and perfect to cool off or relax with a beer. The owners looked after us and are super friendly. The Breakfast we had was also very tasty with fresh fruit yogurt cereals and nuts, eggs with bacon, fresh juice, and good coffee. WiFi worked fine, location is north of the city therefore well located to explore the beaches of the north, but close enough to go for dinner in the old town in the evening. Overall, incredible value for money, and enjoyed very much our few days there.

I loved the “eco” idea of the stay, everything works with solar panels and collected rain water. Also the staff, they are pretty kind, talkative, informative and mindful about your needs in the trip

you can certainly enjoy curaçao if you rent a car, which was not my case so I found it quite difficult to access from the main spots by walk or public transport, yet is quite close to the airport and the staff offer that service for a quite modest price.

Wonderful place, wonderful hosts, loved the gentle and kind dogs. The little pool was very clean and a delight for cooling down. Hosts were extremely welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Felt like home away from home:-). The perfect place to stay if you have a car.

A lot of mosquitoes, might have helped with mosquito-netting in the windows.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, Tanja even showed us the ATM toward town. Leo checked on us each day. It's close to many beaches and supermarket. The outdoor kitchen in our unit was very handy to make a few dinners and eat on the patio. There is a small pool, but large enough to cool off and lovely for night swim when the stars are out. The decor is simple but just right for the surroundings. I also liked that it was out of the city Willamsted) but only 15-20 minute drive. Overall, excellent value for the cost.

We didn't know we needed cash (hence the ATM), it would be good to note that in the payment section on booking.com. The only other thing is that the shower doesn't get warm - not a problem while we were there due to the warm weather, but good to let people know.

Fantastic apartment with very welcoming and friendly hosts. I liked the outdoor kitchen and shower. Very nice place. Beaches are nearby, did some great diving and snorkeling and walked a very nice trail to nearby Kokomo beach. Wished I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

The place is lovely, super ventilated, everything you need is there, super appreciated the soap&shampoo and everything for cooking (oil, salt etc). The position is central and not so far from the airport, few meters there's a nice little beach for sunsets!. There are 4 dogs super sweet and discreet (if you don't want them to come near you or the apartment they want but if you want snuggles, they are there;) ). The owners are super discreet and nice! They also gave us a fresh Aloe leaf for sun burn!! 💞 . If back in Curaçao, we will definitely come back to De Octopus!!!🐙

The place is in a new residential area and is a bit isolated, not a lot of lights (although on the wall of the home there's a big octopus and the name, so you can spot it easily when you arrive there).

Brand new, colourful apartment with all the necessary facilities and very kind and friendly hosts. Located in a very quiet in the middle of Curaçao, which enables you to reach most places fairly easily and fast. Very comfortable beds for a good night sleep. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

We stayed in De Octopus a during a 2 night layover in curaçao on route to Bonaire. Tanja and Leo were super helpful pointing out local dive operators and organizing the covid paperwork and testing . Despite the short stay we got some diving in and visited the some beaches .The Room is very charming with it’s own enclosed backyard and the area is quite but still close the restaurants and located between Willemstad and the airport. We will be back for a longer stay .
