location is very good, just below segla trail starting point and close to hesten too. the room was comfortable, although a bit small but it is still comfortable, and it is warm.

would like to have small kitchen if able to, since only have 1 restaurant at this village.

Stunning mountain view and lake at the surrounding areas.The property are very new and modern.Very comfortable bed and good night sleep.It’s warm and comfortable enough inside the room and bathroom despite the freezing cold weather.The restaurant beside the accommodation serve delicious and great food.We also manage to get a free charging for car which also help on our budget.

The rooms were incredible; modern, clean, very beautiful and with a fantastic view. The location is also amazing. If you like hiking, you could be here a week without getting bored.

Literally the only thing was that it was quite hot in the room and we couldn't seem to adjust it ourselves, but we're also too lazy to go ask so that is on us. This is a great property with amazing value.

Nice breakfast was provided in the evening before, convenient for privacy and early start. Comfy room and bed. Great location handy to Segla/Hesten.

The owner was very nice, very talkative. She always meets us with the smile and ready to accommodate. She always offer coffee in the morning which is very nice. The hike to hesten and segla starts within 5 minutes of walking from the hotel.

There are not many bus connections in a day to reach there

We loved our stay here. The room is beautiful, well designed, and comfortable, with lots of small, thoughtful, and luxurious elements like cushions for the outdoor chairs and cozy blankets. The room has everything you need, with a fridge, hot water kettle, and a nice coffee tray. Beautiful lighting, and comfortable seating indoors too, from which you could gaze out the enormous windows at the fjord and nearby mountains. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is great. We also had a great dinner at the Segla Pub og Grill (which runs the hotel), after hiking Segla and Hesten. The proprietor and staff were both very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our veggie burger and fish burger, and beers. Nice selection of cakes, ice creams, chocolates, and snacks for sale as well. Take your dessert onto the outdoor terrace, and admire the mountains!

The view from the bed to the fjord and the mountains is gorgeous. The room is really nice and new , the seating area outside and the option of blankets that you can take with you , seat and chill is amazing. Location is great - right beside the Segla trailhead.

That in the shower the water was lukewarm. It wasn't depend on which time we took a shower still wasn't even close to hot, It was disappointing. The breakfast was given as take away , for my opinion for that price that they charge for a room it can be better.

the only complaint I have (which wouldn’t really be a complaint) is the “breakfast”. having it delivered the night before plus being sandwich food didn’t seem like breakfast and not much of a choice for picky eaters.

The breakfast has to be consumed in the room,it would be better to have a proper place to have breakfast .

A gorgeous room in a beautiful location with excellent service. The massive breakfast provided each morning lasted me the whole day. Camilla went above and beyond to make my stay a great one.

Not a dislike really but the balcony would be great in summer. I was there in winter so it was covered in snow.

The very nice warm and welcoming hostess! Felt really welcome and the location and rooms are clean, and look amazing new and modern.

Breakfast has room for improvement, but keeping it in a budget and since everyone tends to go hiking early it is a smart way to hang it on the room door and have the eggcooker.
