Location was great - walking distance to the promenade. Self check-in and out. Room and ensuite were beautiful. Restaurant was fantastic. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Staff were helpful.

Wifi was intermittent. We didn't have our free beer in the room, so had to ask for it.

The hotel / pub was very well kept, clean and welcoming. Once we understood the door lock, and the child locks it was great. Location was ideal for a 7 minute walk to the front.

We was in room 705 and the bin lorry woke me up at silly o'clock with the reversing horn. The flashing lights light up the bedroom and that was me up for the day

the staff and management are very accommodating and very much on the customer's side-it really is a nice place to stay

I asked to change my room ,as it was dark and pokey..the lady was very good and changed us to a better one . But she said we had a dog with us but we didn't. I'm very allergic to dogs so I'm glad I had asked to move rooms anyway I purposely asked for a gog free room. So that could have turned out bad for me

the car park was small so could of been trouble to park if we were late getting there and there was alot of people in the restaurant/pub so maybe parking for guests separate so anyone visiting should bare that in mind

Breakfast was really good quality with good coffee. The room was so nice, mini fridge a bonus! Friendly staff too.

I stayed with my son and the 'child bed' was awful. Brick hard with wood clearly felt through the matress- really not good for even a very small child.

Cleaning wasn’t 100% on point, mucky mugs, spoons and kettle, shower could do with a deep clean. Cupboard door was broken and left on the side. Someone’s bottle of skin cream left in the shower and missed by the cleaner.

Kept waiting when we arrived as the person at the meet and greet desk continued their conversation with a colleague. Bin in room not emptied and shower trap had not been cleaned.

Staff were so helpful, carrying my travel cot from the car and arranging a room with enough room for a toddler to play about. Great breakfast and comfy bed.

Not the cheapest but genuinely for a mum travelling alone with a 1 year old it was worth it.

It was a good location for us. Parking is very good and the shower was excellent.

In need of a thorough clean and redeoration. It was very tired. We specifically booked a room with an extra large bed 180 x 220 cm. Our bed in the room we were allocated was definitely not extra large! We had a poor night's sleep in a bed that was not big enough for two large adults. The other bedroom furniture was not really suitable for purpose with rickety bedside tables that were inclined to fall over if you tried to open the drawers and a cage that served as a wardrobe with doors that either wouldn't stay open (one side) or permanently swung open (the other side). At £182 for 1 night, it was extremely expensive (we pay less in London for a night) and was not value for money.

Location good and parking excellent

Felt slightly in the way of pub operations eg cleaning windows and carpets around us whilst eating breakfast. Was promised complimentary beer in room and didn’t get. Asked for more loo roll as run out and didn’t materialise. Bathroom cupboard door fell off as did lock mechanism on bathroom door. Shower gel also empty.

The breakfast was at best average. The hotel location is very good to reach and walk to amenities and near to the beach.

The room was dusty. Especially by the bed area. It was very restrictive as we were in a room in the attic!

Stayed many times. Always very good. This time Livia was particularly helpful and efficient, and made the stay most enjoyable! Breakfast was great, as always!

I got a large amount of sap on my shorts whilst having a very pleasant and reasonably priced quality brewed on site beer in the garden!
