The location is not what you expect. you cannot get to the waterfront due to fences blocking access . The road the property is on is nice but it is in quite a rough area . There are wooden floors throughout and so we had a person and their dog above us clanking about and barking all night. A family had another room and we could here them shouting and singing. Also our room was by the main door which was slammed shut continuously so do not expect a peaceful sleep here. also the people running the property were efficient in taking to us details in case you damages anything but were awful when you were not happy staying that we did not get help the correct way so it’s our fault we got no sleep.

There is no catering at this hotel but there are plenty of good places for all meals very close to the hotel. The room was large and comfortable.

The aircon was arctic but I discovered how to turn it down.

The rooms are beautifully appointed. Great taste in the decor and sizable. We booked a pet friendly suite. The balcony/porch was a lovely option to spend time on. It is conveniently located a few blocks from the train, which can be handy depending on your train schedule. The communication for the door codes was in a timely manner.

This is not a hotel but more of an Airbnb. There is no service. The room was not cleaned between nights, a simple take out of the trash, make the bed, refresh the water bottle would have been nice. When asked about storing luggage until our train, the best they offered was for us to walk 10 blocks in 95 degree heat with our bags to their sister property. I asked if there was someone we could pay to assist, the response was they do not do that, and we could call a taxi or their 1 person recommended car service. If you have ever been to Hudson, taxi and Uber is few and far between. Being that there is no service, some additional thought to what needs to be by the bar/refrigerator area would be helpful, such as a wine opener next to the wine glasses. The difference between choosing a hotel over an Airbnb is service. I am sure this aspect can be improved upon.

Loved the location and the aesthetics of the hotel.

The mattress was not the most comfortable.

Very comfortable beds and clean and cosy. Temperature was good. Eating locally was easy. Easy to find and walkable to and from the train station.

Self catering. Some proper cups for the coffee machine as the paper ones soon soaked through. Also more milk would have been nice, four vials for two people for three nights was a bit tight.

Beds comfortable. Good location on the quiet end of Warren. Extremely spacious - would be good if you were planning an extended stay or traveling with kids.

Super basic - almost no amenities. There was a piece of dog kibble on the rug when I arrived, so don’t think it had been vacuumed carefully. Not insulated at ALL so noise from other rooms was an issue - nobody was being particularly loud, but literally you could hear every word spoken. Street noise was actually fine because this is a very sleepy end of Warren.
