It was spacious, it felt safe, the wi-fi worked well and the bed was comfortable

The villa did not represent the pictures and we were very disappointed. The pictures portray a bright property with furnishings in a good condition. The photos must have been taken a long time ago because in reality the furnishings and the whole villa was old, with furnishing that were falling apart. The villa was very dark and dingy to the point that I had to use a torch to do my make up! There was lighting although in some of the rooms the lighting did not work but there was no central light and it just did not light up the rooms or maybe they used the lowest powered light bulbs which just were not effective Everything was rusty and old. The locks, the furniture, the shower, the fridge, the cooker, the washing machine, the dishwasher. The washing machine and dishwasher looked about 20 years old. They came on and did the cycle but did not wash the dishes or clothes. In the end we gave up and did everything by hand. The furniture was old. You opened a drawer. and the handle fell off, the door to the bathroom didn't lock. If it was one isolated thing you could have overlooked it but it was a culmination of lots of little things just not working, being broken and not being repaired. The pool. It just wasn't appealing as the base was rusty and discoloured something not shown in the pictures There was a clothes horse in the garden that was broken and had collapsed with nails sticking out. Dangerous if you had children. The villa had a safe bit it didn't work and you could not set your code. The instructions were in Spanish. Cleaning was not up to scratch and we found old dead cockroaches that had been there for a while. On many occasions there was no hot water. We stayed in this villa for 3 weeks and there was no interim cleaning. I had to pay for cleaning although in the welcome book it said cleaning was included once a week. I have never experienced this in a villa before.
