Facility was clean and well maintained. Even without staff on duty, no problems were encountered.

Loved the room, building was beautiful. Wish I had more time to actually stay and enjoy. Very comfortable.

The fire alarm went off, not the properties fault but I wish there was a worker to tell us what was going on. No communication and workers only came out when you ring the bell. I also did not realize check out was at 10, different than most other hotels.

If I would pick anything that was uncomfortable that would be my most recent stay in a room where it was very cold, and technically, it was difficult to turn off the coldness due to the air pressure. Other than that I’ve been very satisfied and I’m hoping they will maintain their great hospitality in rectifying issues in helping customers to have a great stay.

Location is ideal and close to downtown. The lobby is nice with furniture to visit or chill. Kitchenette is a nice bonus especially for an extended stay.

The hideaway bed was cheap. When I pulled it out I noticed stains on the mattress that appeared to be bodily fluid and what looked like crumbs from a donut. No sheets were provided although there was a blanket. The toilet seat was cracked clear across. Lightbulb burned out. The air is a central unit so rooms only control the amount of airflow and not the temperature. The room was stuffy and hot some of the time.

No one ever there and no one responded to the emergency line. I had no idea where to park. And taking out the garbage after the stay was very odd.

Love the style and the clean look to the building.

The space was so lovely and comfortable. We had plenty of room and everything was just perfect.

The small on-site breakfast Cafe has great food.

The only thing missing was an ice bucket. Everything else was good.

It was very clean, the grounds were beautifully kept and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed with family members in the ground floor two bedroom apartment. It is a lovely apartment and the staff were helpful and friendly.

* the kitchen has no exhaust hood, allowing all of the heat/grease of cooking to float through the room. It could also be better stocked with adequate service for four. Salt/pepper would also be nice. * The “A/C“ is an entire building system, preset and not adjustable for comfort. On a 94° day, out of towners would prefer it a little cooler than 75° for sleeping. Windows were not an option, as there were no screens. * The mattress in the second bedroom really needs replacing. The bed is low to begin with, and the mattress sunk a good 6 inches when we sat/lay on it.

Air conditioner was not functioning only had air no heat, after numerous attempts to contact management I was told that space heater was in the closet. Disgusting towel in bathroom with lint and other hair on it.

We always enjoy our stay here. It is quiet with very comfortable beds, a beautiful lobby and a small cafe. It is a great location. We will definitely stay here again.

The bathroom floor was not as clean as it had been in the past. The air temperature is controlled somewhere else, and the room was a bit cool. We did not try to contact anyone about that.

It had roku tv and we couldn't get regular tv chanles. Bathroom was so small didn't have room to set anything down.

the internet was terrible. There is NO air control in the room, so you are at their mercy. it was 86 degrees outside yesterday with an overnight low of 70-76. it was 75-77 degrees in my room. it was awful.

Clean and cozy, a few minutes walk from the center.

This is the second time I have stayed here and the only big complaint is the a/c system. The rooms do not have individual units and my rooms, both times, different rooms, were incredibly hot and stuffy and I was unable to sleep. I had the ceiling fan on and the windows were not able to open in the room. Everything else is wonderful but these rooms desperately need individual cooling units. I don’t think I would stay here in the summer months.

view was a dumpster in an alley. parking very unhandy, retro room decor advertised was far from correct and was the reason we chose in the first place. Very disappointed

No breakfast was available. "Cafe" was not open over the weekend for travelers such as I. No vending machines available for snacks or drinks.

Room accommodations were nice. Coffee amenities were adequate but I left a note suggesting spoons or stirrers would be nice with the coffee/

Really neat old building with a lot of character. Beautiful lobby and front desk area. The building and (new) room were very clean.

Front door wouldn’t open upon arrival. Code for the door worked but the door wouldn’t slid open so we had to force the door open to get in. Once in, there was a mixup with our room. Someone was already in the room we were assigned and opened the door up as we were trying to enter our code. Had to call and leave a message on the after-hours number for someone to come downstairs and straighten out the room situation. The room was very nice and clean, but there’s no active air conditioning. We had the thermostat set to 62 degrees and we both woke up sweating and the thermostat showed 73 degrees even with it set at 62. Being on the ground level, we didn’t really want to open the windows to let in any air to cool it off. The windows open right up to the street on the room we stayed in. I’m assuming the older building has old plumbing as well and it took quite awhile for the shower to get hot as well.

Very cool room and vibe in general.

We repeatedly asked for basic room supplies and we’re ignored. Also the snow and ice wasn’t cleared very well and was dangerous to drive and walk on.
