This place is amazing! A picturesque location right on the beach, with bar facilities open from 12-8pm most days (Wed-Sun), where we met lots of friendly travellers, locals and expats. Brad and his team were friendly and helpful and gave us some great tips on how to spend our days in Siargao. Lagkaw is a quiet and peaceful location, with a super chill atmosphere where you can truly relax. but it’s also only a 10min tricycle ride from General Luna (and even closer to Secret Beach). We opted not to hire our own motorbikes, but it was very easy to get a cheap and quick ride into town from one of the local tricycle drivers. Kuya Tata was a very reliable and friendly tricycle driver and even took us on a private land tour at a very reasonable price. Many thanks Brad and team for this fantastic week in your tropical paradise!

Lovely big private room away from main block, food was good at the bar on the beach, very friendly and helpful staff assisting me with my tours and onward travel. Loved that it was away from the noise of the town with a great view of the sea.

The shower had no door so the floor got wet nothing else

The place is little bit far from the center. About 5-10minutes to get to the GL by motorbike. You definitelly need a motorbike to stay at this place.

Aside from being in a great location for people who want to be away from the crowd and want a private feel resort. I like their linens and towels. Good internet and great water pressure for both hot and cold shower.

We chose this place initially as we are looking for a beachfront place that is not that pricey as compared to the other ones in the middle of Gen Luna, and we’re glad we did. We are more than satisfied with our 5 day stay at Lagkaw Siargao Villas. The rooms are spacey and clean, the staff are very accommodating (they can help with tour arrangements, ride/shuttle assistance, laundry, and gear rentals), they have lots of food to choose from (if you prefer to cook, they have a large, common kitchen to use), and lastly, the whole place is well-maintained. The only thing to consider is its location as it’s a bit off to Gen Luna but we actually preferred that. It’s around 10-15 mins walk to Doot Beach and tuktuks/motorcycles for rent are everywhere. If we ever go back to Siargao, we’ll be rebooking here again.

Late review due to schedule being hectic but I would like to have ample time providing a great review. I love everything about our stay in Lagkaw, from the staff to the facilities and those 'little things' in their customer service that made it extra great Food was excellent and I like how they make the payment scheme more convenient since they just keep the tabs (like hotel does) and we'll just pay everything one time during check out. Room is very spacious, there's only 2 of us but it can definitely fit 4 if allowed with extra room for luggages and walking around the room without bumping on something. Bathroom is great as well and never had problems with water and is not smelly. Another plus is their glass sliding door, it truly made the room more airy and light no need for additional artificial light during the day. Since the area is away from the crowd of siargao it allows us to open the curtains and door without feeling too conscious. Beach and garden is also overlooking our room so that's another plus for the Zen vibe Staff is awesome I cannot stress enough how chill but accommodating they are and I emphasized on chill because them looking relaxed and enjoying their work makes us feel more relax as well as guests. Believe me when I say the mood and demeanour of staffs can make or break the experience despite great facilities and that's why kudos to Lagkaw staff for being an epitome of good customer service. They are all equally capable in their jobs and attentive to our needs. On top of that they don't shy away from a conversation, though that's not necessary for them to do but it made us feel more at home being able to talk or chat with them casually. Transportation - while the accommodation is a bit far from the main town it wasn't inconvenient since they have a tricycle driver who we can message to take us to and from town.

Nothing on side of lagkaw but just overall trip maybe, the front beach has quite full of sea grass and not great for swimming but that's nature so nothing against the accommodation. But a few meters away from the beach front is an area where you can swim with a strip of sand under without sea grass so just walk towards the right and you'll see it.

The sunrises are beautiful in the property and it's just across the beach. The staff were also very accommodating.

Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all

Each villa has a beautiful view of the beach including balcony seating to either enjoy a drink or a meal. The rooms are big, clean and quiet with a water cooler. We enjoyed the location out of General Luna as it is nice and quiet. It's roughly a 100-150 peso for two into the town centre.

At times we found it hard to find to staff to talk to as they weren't at reception. We also found that due to the design of the shower we were left with a very wet bath mat. Lastly we didn't recieve room service on our third day.

If you want some quiet time away from the parties and the traffic, this is the best place for solo travellers or couples. Brad is a very friendly guy with who I had nice and interesting conversations over a coffee morning. His staff are local people, always willing to help. And as a plus there’s a very cuddly cat and a low key beach bar. Perfect for chilling with the locals!

Hotel is not right at the beach but you just have to cross the road and you’re there in 2 minutes walk.

The place is very nice, away from the noises of general Luna, and just in front of the beach. Rooms are very cute, nice and clean. The owner is very nice and helpful. They also got a beach bar just un front of the beach. Will definetly recommand and hopefully be back soon ☺️

The place is very relaxing. A short distance away from the busy tourism street. A soothing and peaceful place to stay after the exhausting tours.

It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle of General Luna (noise pollution included) at the same white-sand beach stretch as Nay Palad (supposedly the most expensive accommodation on the island). Despite that, it’s accessible both to/from Dapa and GL. It’s got its private beach that gets rake-swept every morning for seagrass. This side here prolly has brackish water. On a hardly windy day, the water is very clear. At night or in late afternoon, water is warm (like anywhere else tropical prolly). The room is spacious and aesthetically pleasing; modern but makes use of traditional materials. There’s free drinking water in your room. There’s hot shower water, bidet too. Soap and shampoo bottles resemble Aesop’s. Those Polyscias scutellaria cuts in vases are a nice touch. There’s a communal kitchen for those who wish to cook. Very inexpensive extras. We ordered breakfast, a few coffee, beer and fruit shakes and were surprised upon tabbing out it wasn’t much. Very helpful, accommodating and professional staff. Honest too. Brother’s phone got left behind and we got a ring. The owner himself is there to welcome you and engage you in a chitchat.

WiFi as with most on the island is spotty. I hope the Telcos do something about it soon. Elon Musk (Starlink) better be reading this.

It was beautiful to look at and comfortable to stay in. It had an awesome view (beach front). The staff were very accomodating. There were fireflies at night within the surrounding trees which was amazing.
