Comfortable bed, staff were great

The swimming pool requires maintenance. Loose tiles on the pool bottom need replacing. The shower & bathroom need the grout cleaned. Breakfast wasn't great.

The hotel is clean and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The room is very stylish and a great size, and the bed was so comfortable, which was a blessing after a full day out. I would like to give a special mention to Tracey. She was great at getting us checked in, recommended some fabulous places to go and was extremely helpful.

It was a shame the restaurant was closed on a Monday and Tuesday but there wasn't anything we didn't like.

A little too far out of town to walk

The staff went over and above and were incredibly friendly and helpful. There was a mixup when I arrived so I was upgraded and stayed in a beautiful suite. Everybody was so friendly and helpful and Mark, who works at the golf course, took me on a tour in the morning to see kangaroos! The pillows was so comfortable which is quite rare in hotels these days! That is a stunning walk to do along the beach. The salty sea dog is a Fantastic Café full of happy dogs and it absolutely made my morning .

I wish hotels would not turn on the air-conditioning before your arrival. The room was really cold and I hate air conditioning, especially when it is absolutely not needed.. It's also a shocking waste of energy with climate change on our doorstep and Australia being threatened with fires. The last thing we need is energy being used when people aren't even in their rooms. It is a terrible policy to waste energy this way.

We were expecting hotel services. There was no food available after 5pm no room service . Staff were unskilled and there was a lack of management presence, located at the end of town and we had to walk 5km to get something to eat on a Monday night.

Very friendly service, beautiful refurbished room with excellent view of golf course. Easy walk to the beach, golf course was a highlight too. Very clean rooms and facilities.

The environment, the beach, the people, the staff and all the facilities that Torquay has to offer. We certainly will come back again.

Alles war perfekt - von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise; das Personal ist sehr freundlich; das Zimmer sehr gross, sauber und perfekt ausgestattet; das Schwimmbad und das riesige Fitness (mit mehreren Bereichen und viel Equipment) ist noch ein aussergewöhnliche Zusatzpunkt! Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Very clean, very comfortable, staff were lovely! Our room was perfect, with a beautiful little outdoor area that opened up onto the grass with a nice view of a little bit of the golf course, you could also hear the sound of the beach from our room which was very relaxing!

the shower was great with really good pressure but was very loud once turned on. besides that i have no complaints!

Very nice and accommodating staff. The room is stunning and very clean.

Had construction going on and a painter painting in the hallways both days we were there but it wasn’t too noisy. The rooms could do with better sound proofing as I could hear the people talking all night long about 3 rooms down from me and it kept me up.

The rooms were lovely spacious and nicely decorated .

A shout out to Tracey who went out of her way to make me feel welcomed. I found Tracey to be very friendly and bubbly.Was great to chat to. And all the other staff were lovely as well including the housekeeping staff, nothing was any trouble. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool and gym and was only about a 5-10 min walk to the beach.

The place was a bit far away from the shops,restaurants. A 40 min walk. And no room service also the rooms weren’t very well insulated. Apart from that I definitely will return as overall I was happy 😃. Thanks ladies

Common parts are a bit dated . Could have a better choice for food menu - could have a more premium choice option.

A bigger menu would have been great however the food we gave was lovely. Room service would also have been a good addition however being able to take food to the room was also a good option.

TH restaurant Shirley's Bar was disappointing. Service was bad and meal was below standard.

The colour scheme of the room, Eleven Shampoo and Conditioner..

Room wasn’t that clean on the floor area as you walked in. 3 extra high pillows and one thinner pillow. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Being gluten free, I had to ask for gf toast. No cereals or anything GF that was on display. I would not recommend the buffet breakfast for $30.

Arriving later in the evening after an exhausting long day the staff could not have been more helpful with a quick check and then finding some honey in the kitchen for a hot cuppa to unwind. Thanks team :)
