The location was amazing, extremely tranquil and isolated in the forest, but still just a short drive to Diwan, Cow Bay and Cape Tribulation. It was fantastic to wake up and fall asleep to the sights and sounds of the forest. The main bed was very very comfortable, and Ryan also supplied us two camp beds which were also comfy. The bathroom was tropical with a great shower and hot water, and the kitchen was well equipped with good gas stove, also a very clean BBQ (which we didn't get around to using). My daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool. We didn't meet Ryan but his communication was excellent and check in was easy. We loved staying here and would definitely come back.

Keep in mind that the house is open plan, so be aware that privacy is limited if you are travelling in a group of friends. We recommend to book ahead if you want to eat out at a local restaurant - it can be hard to get a booking at short notice. We ended up going to the Lync Cafe at nearby holiday park, which was just OK. The kitchen and bbq in the house are great though, so stock up on food and prepare yourself a nice dinner at home!

Superb location close to all attractions. Felt like you were all alone in the rainforest. Wonderful location of bed looking out onto the rainforest. Great sleeping with the bifold doors open, listening to the sounds of the rainforest. Protection provided by strong secure screen doors. The house had everything we needed and lots of extra touches. Highly recommend.

House was in an amazing location and very comfortable. Owner was also very pleasant to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Liked everything about the place.

This was heaven for me. Idyllic, a place amidst a mighty rainforest. Quiet apart form the birds, insects and frogs. Clever construction of the home allows a direct fresh air sleep with mozzie protection and direct view from the bed into the forest. I felt replenished.

Location and accommodation was awesome. Falling asleep to the sounds of the forest was incredible, and the private pool an added bonus. Clean and comfortable, the property is obviously maintained with care. What a special place. Even more amazing than the photos.

This was our second time staying at the property and it didn’t disappoint. The location is private and peaceful and it’s lovely to wake up to a beautiful view of the rainforest. Remember to bring some food to cook on the awesome bbq!

The most amazing location. Completely secluded in the rainforest. Everything was available for the perfect stay, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, wi-fi, netflix etc. Huge patio area to the rear and smaller one to the side looking into the rainforest. The entire property opens up to the rainforest, with secure flyscreens so you can sleep with the sounds of the wildlife - it's fabulous! Pool and Cabana are an excellent bonus! Waterfalls, frogs and flying foxes! I'd love to return. Exceeded my expectations

Don't leave lollies unattended at any time! - I accidentally ate more than my fair share of mini ants before realising - oops :)

Fantastic gorgeous place to stay in the Daintree and experience the forest at your back door. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting, it made our holiday ❤️

Absolutely everything

Great location and amenities. Really liked the private pool. Totally lives up to its name, forest views are amazing. Well equipped kitchen with everything that you need. Perfect for a romantic trip with your partner. Would highly recommend.

A/C would be a great addition. Otherwise everything is perfect.
