The property is a lovely medieval property but felt perfectly safe and secure to stay

House was lovely in a great location, we had a really lovely time as a group

Pool was winterised, despite online check-in information stating that the heating was off (ie inferring that the pool was still accessible). Some of the bedding had what appeared to be blood stains. The mattress in one of the rooms was lopsided, leading to a poor nights sleep for those in there. Pots and pans were quite dirty and required deep cleaning before use. The gate also broke and left us stuck inside the property for an hour when we wanted to head out - whilst this is no one’s fault the contact on phone said “this happens a lot”, which begs the question why it hasn’t been fixed.

Considering that the property could accommodate up to 6 people the fact that there was only one toilet/bathroom was disappointing.
