My sisters all enjoy paddle boarding so along with the kayaks, it made for a perfect time together. Margo was terrific to deal with... the property is a true gem. Thank you for a great place to make new memories!

A very good place for a family vacation …we loved the kayaking and outdoor space as well as the beautifully kept cottage and all of its amenities

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. Margo was very accommodating. The property was as described and had a beautiful view of the water. We enjoyed the private beach nearby and Grand Bend Beach about 10-15 minute drive from the property.

Margo's cottage was the perfect place to spend a holiday weekend with friends. The space was clean and slept 6 ppl (3 couples) comfortably. We spent most of our time out back playing lawn games and grilling on the porch. Margo was kind enough to let us use their kayak's which provided a great way to access the beach fronts on Lake Huron. The sunsets were stunning! Can't recommend this place enough.

Wow! What a gem to find! The property surpassed our expectations and far outweighed the description and photo’s. An idyllic retreat, beautifully situated right on the lake with the added bonus of the kayak’s - which kept our two teens entertained. They absolutely loved being on the lake as the sun was setting - memories they will hopefully treasure forever. The property itself was very clean and the beds! Oh so comfortable. Margo herself didn’t disappoint, she was as lovely as I had hoped from her email communication and was very helpful throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be staying again.

This cottage was everything it looked like in the pictures! Fantastic location and beautiful cottage. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. We were already talking about booking for next year!

This property is incredibly clean and accommodated our family of 7 easily. All the amenities were modern and the layout of drawers and cupboards intuitive. The proximity to the magnificent community beach makes this property a must for any family looking forward to enjoying sand and water. Located on the water we enjoyed magnificent sunsets, sightings of deer, and many different water fowl. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and is prompt in responding to ones questions.

Our stay was really awesome. We enjoyed our stay of two days. The property, its location and the neighborhood was great. Property was well cleaned and nicely maintained, check-in and check-out was quite convenient. We are planning to rent the property again for our next visit.

Stayed 2 nights for a girls getaway. Was greeted by host who is lovely. Home is beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. Location is perfect. Short distance to beautiful beach. Enjoyed watching the boats going by as well as the beautiful sunsets. Not to mention the fish jumping and 2 deer that we got to see graze both mornings and nights. Will hopefully get the opportunity to stay again.

It was hard to leave come Sunday morning. The house, the view, the location. We saw stunning sunsets and peaceful sunrises. We enjoyed our weekend girls’ trip so much and this was the perfect spot to do it. Kayaking. Using the cottage as a home base to explore the area. The home was clean and well cared for and we felt safe and had an excellent time. The owner was also extremely helpful and great with communication! Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful property !

I was looking for a nice and quiet place to celebrate my birthday. Called up a few friends and off we were on a MUCH needed escape from the city. The property was absolutely everything we were looking for. Could not have asked for anything more. You'll enjoy your stay here, I'm sure of it.

A great cottage located in a beautiful and quiet area. An ideal place to have a family vacation !

Overall we had a great time in this beautiful location. A few kinks to work out for winter stays. It was a pain to bring bedding and there were some small details overlooked.

Beautiful home in a great location. Was very well stocked with everything we needed to host a 60th Anniversary and Christmas with our family. Cozy and warm and beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Unfortunately there were few issues that we felt would have been good to know prior to our booking. The bath could not be used was an inconvenience with young children. We realize that flood damaged floors were beyond owners control however the uneven floor from the buckling planks made it somewhat dangerous for the elderly visitors that we had. Lastly, we assumed that there was cable or satellite service but there wasn't. Not a huge deal but would have been nice to know especially with children. Thankfully there were some appropriate DVD movies there to view. Would definitely book again once all the repairs are completed.

Stunning views. Lots of bird life - eagles, swans, hawks, geese. Large 2 storey windows let in lots of light and ability to appreciate the view from both floors. Owner was pleasant, helpful and quick to respond. Kayaks were fun on the river, even this time of year, water was cold but we stayed dry. Quiet location this time of year. Our group enjoyed ourselves very much.
