The apartment was exactly what we were looking for - it has some old charm and is nicely renovated. It is exactly as advertised online. The location is a bit outside the old area of Lyon but we soon discovered the rental bikes and a station is only one block away. One word of caution, we visited in early August and it was very warm. The place does not have any air conditioning (which is normal for an old building), however, several fans are provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

Apartment: Spacious, comfortable, modern and clean. All the amenities you might need during your stay are available. Easy access to keys. Supermarket 150m from the apartment. 10 minutes from Part-Dieu train station and 15-20 minutes by bus or streetcar from downtown Lyon.

The apartment is clean and has space for two to stay comfortably. There is a pull out sofa but there was barely enough hot water for two and the tank took a while to heat up additional water. The kitchen is equipped with stove and toaster and basic Nespresso machine. The apartment is very close to the Part Dieu station so transfer to transit is very easy.

Felt home for one week

The apartment is as shown in the photos except for there are some broken tiles in the entranceway between the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen had good dishes and glasses for dining. The fridge was good. The hot water heater was small - had to take really fast showers to ensure they were hot. The bed is nice and comfy. The closets are really awkward but for a short stay you can make do. The TV had all of the apps you have at home so you can log in, but the volume on the TV seemed to be artificially kept low - perhaps not to disturb neighbours. The walls/floors did not buffer sound. The owner didn’t leave any dish soap and like one roll of toilet paper for a week long stay… However the place was clean and you can be comfortable here with two people max.
