Beautiful place! Loved all the amenities!

We had a great time. The room was nicely decorated and well stocked with items you may need during your stay. The view from the balcony is beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in the Sugar Mountain area. It is at the top of Sugar Mountain so if the weather is bad you may need 4wd.

Everything was great. Very clean and beautiful.

Condo was super clean and cozy! Working fireplace, cute decor and seasonal touches. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The unit also had tidy and modern bathrooms. Most of our time was outdoors, but it was a great place to cozy up for the evening hours. Shuttle and gate house personal were so friendly and helpful. It was no problem getting the shuttle at all - it was our only concern, but it was a non issue. Gorgeous views and such a well maintained and beautiful building. Just lovely! So close and convenient to Sugar Mountain ski resort. A repeat visit for sure!

This condo was in a great location for visiting Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Beech Mountain, etc. It was clean and had everything as described. Great for a family with kids. We would stay there again.

This condo is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully furnished, and very clean. The beds are very really comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with all of the basics one would need for vacation cooking! Despite many trips to the Boone area, we had never stayed previously at SugarTop. For others who are unfamiliar, it’s probably worth mentioning that you will need to take a shuttle in between your parking lot and the condo building due to limited owner only parking at the top of the mountain. It’s not a big deal - shuttles come very quickly after being called - but it’s something to account for in terms of planning.

The condo was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could need for a weekend stay! The beds were so comfy; something you don't normally get with vacation homes! There was a little mix up with our check in but after a quick call to the property manager fixed everything! Even the front desk are human and someone made a check in card but forgot to add our name! We stay at Sugar top every September to enjoy Land of Oz and thia has become our favorite condo in 4 years! The property manager even sent a detailed list of great restaurants in the area! We will definitely return again!

Unit was great parking and being bussed from the lower parking lot made the trip less desirable. The van was old and dirt and one driver smelled of alcohol.

Truly one of the cutest and coziest rentals! The room was spacious and inviting in every way. It was extremely clean. Yes as other people have stated, the facility in and of itself is a little outdated. However, the room is not! It’s very up to date and you feel you’re in a little cabin. The views are spectacular! I even enjoyed laying in bed looking at the full moon outside over the mountain. I come to the area a couple times a year for the last several years. This is the first time I needed somewhere to stay, as the friends we normally stay with are remodeling. I must say, this was such a wonderful experience that I do plan to come back and stay here. The resort even had shuttles so we didn’t have to hike up and down. Despite some shuttle troubles they were having they were speedy and we never waited more than 2 minutes for a shuttle. But seriously it was perfectly perfect in every way!

Great condo , just building is worn down , needs updated. Felt like I was in college dorm. And they did not allow bikes in condo.

This condo was immaculately clean. Everything one would need was available. Beautiful views throughout each room. From the Front desk to the host everything was in perfect alignment. I'm definitely looking forward to making plans for my next visit. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

You can’t beat the view! This unit was very tastefully decorated & remodeled. It was impeccably clean. We never had to wait on the shuttle to take us down to our car. Would def stay here again!

Literally at the top of the mountain. Great stay with great views. Dean was super friendly and helpful and responded quickly. Resort staff was friendly as well. Quiet family area. Would definitely recommend.

The condo was cozy, everyone made us feel welcome, great proximity to hikes and sightseeing, and groceries. The kids really enjoyed the pool.

Dean was a fantastic host, anytime I had a question he was quick to answer. House Keeping was fantastic and caring! I truly enjoyed this trip. My husband and I have had a rough few weeks before our anniversary and decided we needed to getaway. This trip was everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets so soft. The TV and WIFI was great. The VIEW is spectacular and breathtaking! The pool was so refreshing. There is 2 hot tub/spas, and a wet and dry sauna. We ate at Highlanders it was fantastic! We rode the alpine coaster and went axe throwing at “Hero’s Axe House” it is next to Highlanders only a few miles away. Wish we would of spent a few more nights and just enjoyed the pool and the condo more. It was so beautiful. I cannot wait to visit again! Thank you!!

The building is in a great location on top of the mountain with beautiful views. The front desk, maintenance, and security were all kind and helpful. The apartment was very clean, tastefully decorated, had comfortable beds, and felt very cozy. In fact the pictures don't do it justice. BUT the lobby is a bit outdated and the hallways have a government subsidized feel/smell to it. Also there were a lot of kids in the swimming pool (good thing), but the hot tub was a bit yellow with a strong chemical smell (bleach)? Overall this is a great place and we would stay here again.

As advertised, this condo has been completely renovated and is lovely! Our family of 6 stayed for 4 nights over Christmas, right as the winter storm hit. We stayed inside and enjoyed the view of the snow-covered trees/mountain, while we played games, went swimming, watched TV and ate good food. The beds are incredibly comfortable, which is very important to me! My husband used the workout room and hot tub almost daily. The kids were able to ski on the last day (once the weather improved) and were able to ride the shuttle back to the condo, keeping us from having to go back and pick them up. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay! Condo was clean and decorated nicely. Layout was perfect with bedrooms on opposite ends of the living room. Beds and couches are comfortable. Owner is easy to reach and helpful. Convenient location. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything about our stay was fabulous!!

This space is even cuter than the pictures! Stocked with all we needed to cook with our family. Kids loved the pool and we enjoyed the two hot tubs and the steam room. Gorgeous view from the pool of sunset over the mountains. Easy access to sugar mountain for skiing. Host was friendly and responsive. Staff also friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Very clean, nice property. Great location overlooking Grandfather Mountain. We had a small issue with check in, but the owners were very prompt to respond and the issue was solved very quickly. Would stay again.
