Every amenity you could imagine and a few lovely surprises, plus gorgeous views to boot. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for our annual trip to Tanglewood!

This is a lovely house that is beautifully maintained and clean. The furniture is very comfortable and clean, making it lovely to hang out inside if you want to. And the hot tub is an added bonus.
Communication with Erich was very easy, clear and timely.
We would happily stay here again.

This was my mom’s third time staying at Heart’s Desire, and my first (I live locally but house is under renovation). I’ve stayed at many rental homes around the country, and this home is my favorite - hands down. Everything about it is breathtaking: the entryway, the wood ceilings, the spacious bedrooms, the unbelievably comfortable beds and super soft bedding, the well-equipped kitchen, the hot tub, the grazing deer out back, and the home’s history. Oh, and the location is perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay, although we basically only slept and ate breakfast at the house (we were attending Solid Sound at MASS MoCA). Very clean, quiet, spacious, and comfy beds. My husband and 9-year-old loved the hot tub. The only quibble we had was the air fresheners (too many and too strongly-scented) but that was easily remedied by unplugging them.

What an amazing find to stay at while attending a yoga festival at Jiminy Peak. The house was immaculate and didn't miss a thing! Not only was there a bottle of wine waiting, but an adorable history of the home. The house was HUGE and the beds very comfortable. I wouldn't call it a 3 bedroom house though, it's a 2 bedroom with a pull out sofa in the living room. The hot tub is amazing and watching the starts and fireflies in the backyard at night was magical. Highly recommend and would stay there again any time!

This rental was perfect for us (family gathering, 4 adults, 1 child). The place was very clean, and beautifully decorated, with all modern appliances. The kithen had everything we needed for meal prep. The beds were comfortable, and the tranquil location made for a very good night's sleep. Everything is on one floor which made it safe for young children. There were several nearby parks, playgrounds and ice cream shops for entertainment. The field and short trails behind the house meant we saw rabbits, deer, many birds and an amazing nimber of fireflies.

I absolutely loved this property! It was immaculate and had everything someone would need. The bed was very comfortable as was the living room furniture. I loved sitting out on the deck at night and watching the deer. The fire pit and the hot tub are a bonus. I enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to return.

We had a very comfortable and unfortunately short stay while skiing for a couple days. The rental was very clean and had plenty of room for my family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub after skiing and its convenience close to Jiminy Peak.

Family gathered once again in this charming space. We stayed once prior and unanimously decided to return for an early Thanksgiving celebration. We had every comfort. Highly recommend Heart’s Desire. Erich is an attentive and gracious host. Would give 10 stars if we could!!!!

Had a truly fantastic 10-day stay and enjoyed every minute. The home is well kept, very comfortable and has everything you need for an extended stay. Close to trails and on 14 acres so you are in the middle of nature, but only 5 minutes from a Target and 22 minutes from Williamstown, so you have the best of both worlds. An incredible find and the check-in process smooth and simple. Can’t say enough about the property!

The property was exactly as listed, with spacious accommodation for up to 6 people.
The setting is quiet and peaceful, yet very close to Lanesborough. There are limited restaurants there, which I knew beforehand, but many in Pittsfield and particularly in Lenox, a lovely small town.
I’d happily stay here again.

The house was perfect for our stay to visit local family.
All the kitchen basics are in place. Not a kitchen equipped for extensive cooking, baking or entertaining but perfectly suitable for take out, microwave meals and simple meal prep.
The hot tub is nicely situated w/ fluffy towels and crocs.
The views from the back deck are pretty.

This was our second stay here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The property was clean and inviting when we arrived. There were a few small things that needed attention, and Susan came promptly to address them. The setting is spectacular in the fall with views of fields and mountains from the properly, and the fire pit and spa just add to the enjoyment. Definitely on the radar screen for another stay in the future!

This was our third time staying in Heart's Desire and it didn't disappoint. The house is very spacious for one or two couples. Upon arrival everything was very clean. I love that the owners ask folks to leave their shoes in the vestibule to keep the floors clean. I love walking around the house barefoot :-). The neighborhood is quiet and private yet located near Pittsfield and North Adams. Highly recommend.

The listing doesn't do justice to this place. The house is cozy, well maintained and clean, everything works. The location is great and there is a huge backyard to explore. Communication with Susan was great and she was very responsive and nice, like a true friend. We assisted to a wedding nearby and we took advantage to stay a few more days and having a great time. A beautiful place and a great house to come back...Truly recommended.

This is a very nice place to stay! It was very clean and VERY peaceful. The back deck is a great place to sit and relax during the morning and evening and just enjoy the view. Inside it was very comfortable and was just as described. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was large with modern appliances, and bathroom was also large with plenty of room for washer and dryer, too. Hot tub was a plus. Owners were friendly and property was close enough to towns where you can get food (many options) and supplies if you forgot anything (Target 5-10 minutes away). Would strongly recommend this property!

Heart's Desire was completely lovely. Beautiful, clean, comfortable. The garden center was not open while we were there, so it was totally private. Loved the hot tub. Location is fabulous. There is so much to do in the area.

This is our second year staying at Heart's Desire. It was as good, maybe even better, than we remembered :) This is one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Brand new appliances in the kitchen and laundry. The hot tub in the back is a great place to see some stars. The home is very private without feeling isolated. We hope to be back again next year :)

We are a family with small children that ski at Jiminy at least once a year. When we booked a weekend trip, we did not hesitate to rebook at Dean's Hearts Desire! It is just perfect all around. The place is in great shape, very comfortable and in ideal location to go to the mountain and be close to restaurants and stores for all the typical family needs. See you again!

Our family met at the Heart's Desire over the Thanksgiving holiday which was the perfect setting for our gathering. This home was immaculate and had everything we needed for the weekend! The king-sized beds were very comfortable and furnishings in the open concept living area provided the perfect space for gathering to watch football and play board games. The home was furnished with bed and bath linens and even extra towels and crocs for the hot tub! We saw deer in the field behind the house and the sunsets were spectacular! The chocolates and bottle of wine were a nice welcome touch after a long day of travel. Heart's Desire is the perfect retreat for your family!

Dean's place has a great location in the Berkshires going for it. But more than that the place was spotless, fully stocked with every convenience, spacious, and comfortable. Dean had super-clear directions for everything and a wealth of local tourist info inside the unit. We discovered a few places that we'd never heard of thanks to this thoughtful touch. The hot tub was lovely, too. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!

Hearts Desire was a fantastic place to stay. This newly remodeled home is beyond clean and organized, is quiet and private on 14 acres, is in a great location, and has a lovely view from every window. We three friends enjoyed peaceful mornings drinking coffee in the large kitchen, restorative end-of-the-day dips into the hot tub, and cozy evenings watching movies on the large screen in the comfortable great space living room. Every room is spacious and nicely furnished. The location was perfect for our leaf=peeping trip -- each day we made a different excursion to many spots on great roads through lovely towns. Dean, the owner/manager, was responsive and helpful as needed and is very proud of his lovely place, as he should be. We would definitely choose Hearts Desire again and highly recommend it for a perfect stay.

This home is exceptional in cleanliness and furnishings for the comfort for the visitors. The two king beds were very comfortable. The hot tub, fire pit, tvs, games, kitchen, bathroom. were all very nice and very well stocked. We found the home lovely, comfortable, and peaceful. We liked that it was not in the middle of "downtown" and still close enough to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. We give this home our highest recommendation and will hope to come back again soon.

We've now stayed at this property twice. It is clean, modern and well cared for. The property is also lovely. Beds are comfy and kitchen has what you may need to cook an easy meal. Very quick communication with the host who took care of an extremely minor issue right away. (Coffee machine wasn't working properly) Would highly recommend this property to couples.

Heart's Desire is everything it's name suggests, and more. We found it to be the perfect location for our needs, and close enough to everything the Berkshires has to offer. Our visit was focused on daily home care for my 93-year old mom, and having a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind at the end of each day was truly a blessing. Can't say enough about the care that went into creating the interior space, the grounds, and the total vibe. Thank you to owner/manager Dean, well done! Oh, and do NOT skip biking or walking the entire Ashiwillticook, it' s the best cure for anything.
