My dad and I enjoyed the property and finding historical treasures around every turn. We prioritized cooking at home, fire in the fireplace, playing the bluegrass CD’s the host provided and sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch. A great quiet place to get away from it all and reconnect with a loved one.

We had a nice stay. The property is nice and well maintained. The property was as described We enjoyed ourselves. If you are scared of dogs, this may not be for you.

Ric and Madonna have truly built something special. The craftsmanship of the cabin, the privacy, the babbling brook make you feel transported to another time- a simpler time where you are not distracted by modern technology. Highly recommended.

The wife and I had a amazing time at the cabin, being able to see pics of the cabin being built was great. There are so many things to see at the cabin around every corner, Ric & Madonna did suck an amazing job building and furnishing the cabin….Can’t wait to come back, it felt like home…..

This beautiful cabin is just as it appears, if not better in person. We had a wonderful night enjoying the fire pit and the peace and quiet. Ric and Madonna were excellent hosts and we hope to be back again!

If you are joined at the hip to your electronics, smart phone etc. this place is not for you. However if you enjoy sitting by a creek around a campfire in the moonlight and talking and laughing and enjoying each other’s company then Ric and Madonna have the spot for you.

Absolutely loved staying here. Perfect getaway from the outside world. Cozy and warm, with a beautiful fireplace and rocking chairs to relax in on the front porch. The owners went above and beyond in thinking of everything you could need for a relaxing stay. And the 1800's bathtub was amazing!

Ric and Madonna have built a beautiful getaway cabin and we felt privileged to be able to stay in it for a few relaxing and peaceful nights. The cabin is beautifully decorated and it was a joy to sit and read by the amazing fireplace that they built. It’s also a nice spot from which to set out and see the surrounding area: towns; hiking and craft breweries.

The renting process for this property was easy. I had only booked it about two weeks in advance and was very satisfied with being able to rent so quickly. I had also looked at my calendar wrong and had booked the wrong dates, however the owners were very kind to have let me change the dates of my vacation.

We absolutely loved staying here. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful time to unwind this is for you! The owners have done a wonderful job providing everything you might need. We can't wait to come back 😊

We loved this cabin, very secluded and quite. Fireplace was amazing and they supplied kindling and wood!! Wife really enjoyed soaking in the tub. Very nice fire pit and outdoor area to hang out around. Would highly recommend this cabin!!

Everything as advertised. I could spend hours in that bathtub. Would come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute tucked away cabin. It was perfect for what we wanted. Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday. Ric and Madonna were extremely nice and attentive if we need anything. The place was clean and well maintained. So many little features and designs to catch your eye. We have already told our friends about it and would definitely stay again ourselves. Great for a relaxing getaway.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini trip. My daughter lives nearby so we are always looking for rentals to come back to again. This cabin is very rustic with with a very nice yard and creek running through the back which My kids loved playing in! The fire pit and enjoying outdoors was our favorite! Only issue is no wifi , very spotty phone service if that's a must for you. We didn't miss it at all! Also when arriving in the neighborhood a note should be made about staying to the left, the properties that are passed leading to the cabin can cause for concern, but the owners and cabin are wonderful! When your at the cabin, you feel like your on your own little piece of the Forrest, quiet and peaceful! We would stay again!
