We stayed for 4 nights to explore the area and have family time with my parents. Nicely located to access multiple areas like Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and Linville. The house was very accommodating for cooking for the family. We cooked full meals and had all the cookware needed to prepare the meal. The grill worked great. The living area and porch was awesome for playing games and talking with family. The neighborhood was good for walking. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Nice property for my wife and I...Plenty of room and very clean!

We loved our view of grandfather mountain every morning and evening. We were happy at the end of each days outings coming back to our cozy cabin and sitting on the deck reminiscing. It was a great week. We would definitely recommend this cabin for families as well as being cozy it is close to Boone and Banner Elk.

We loved the house and our stay here. The property was clean and a great location. The only minor issue was the queen mattress in the upstairs bedroom sagged in the middle. But the rest of the house more than made up for that.

The location of the house could not be more perfect. We were there for snow tubing, and also enjoy visiting downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was cozy, very clean, bright and cheerful, and the layout was perfect. The views of grandfather mountain were amazing! We will definitely book this house again.

Had a great stay and really enjoyed spending time in the mountains.

Has all great but too high up on the mountain for us older ones. Fireplace was hard to light. Need instructions on how to lite it. We had a great time though and a great experience for a lifetime.

This property is amazing! Located in the heart of Seven Devils, minutes away from Boone, Grandfather Mountain, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, this lovely home is a gem. With an unbelievable view of Grandfather Mountain from the living areas and deck, this is a true home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with anything we could have needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The decor was perfect and the furnishings were comfortable. The kids loved the selection of board games! The staff checked in via email to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay and provided great instructions prior to our visit. The notebook of information had wonderful suggestions for activities, food, and so much more. We highly recommend this property!

We travel a lot and this was by far one of my favorite places we have stayed! Our bed was very comfortable. Plenty of space, very clean and cozy and well decorated ;) 10/10 We will stay here again!

Warm, comfortable, everything we needed at hand - a delightful place to stay!

We had an amazing time at the spruce house! Far enough up the mountain for amazing views without the narrow winding roads. Easy access and super clean. We cooked almost every evening and enjoyed playing in the snow in the driveway. Hawks Nest snow tubing was about a mile away and I would highly recommend. All in all it was a great family adventure and our stay at the spruce house made it that much better!

Great cabin.

Place was perfect and as advertised.

This cabin is beautiful inside and out. The updates to the home make it modern, but don't take away from the charm you want when staying in a cabin in the mountains. The fireplace was great, the beds, bedding, and living room furniture were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was a TV in every bedroom and nice hangers and extra pillows in all of the closets. (This may seem silly, but the little things make a huge difference) Also, the info binder was very well organized and helped us make dinner and shopping plans. I have a million good things to say about Spruce House. There isn't much I can complain about here. It was obvious a pet had been in the home from the fur we found sticking to our clothes, but the cleaning crew could have easily missed this. Also, I feel like the management company sent a lot of messages. Maybe condense these messages during the stay and send them in the afternoon hours. I would recommend this cabin to any and all of my friends. We make this trip at least once a year and will definitely try to book the Spruce House next time. Thanks for a great stay!
