We were never told that we had to pay for the pool that is being advertised with the palm trees, or the gym, or even the beach access. The staff entered or villa with the code without knocking. The mattresses were thin and very uncomfortable. They were even stained. There were also small bugs on the counter. We arrived on a Friday and on Tuesday or Wednesday they started renovating the villa next door to ours, hammering, drilling all day! Not what we had in mind for vacation. We complained to the management and they could care less. There was no other villa there can put us in they weren’t able to stop the construction noise they said the workers had a contract to be. Imagine listening to hammering all day while on vacation! The villa also only had two dishwashing tabs for the entire week that we were there so it was not stocked up as it should have been, even with detergent. We didn’t get the feeling that this Villa prides itself on making sure the guests enjoy themselves and their customer service. The second pool has yellow green water and has not been cleaned, The nicest staff was at the gate. The trash area for the community was overflowing with trash. Not as advertised, so we are very disappointed and then construction on top of it.

We were very pleased with this property. We were a group of 8 (my wife, 3 kids, my sister and my parents). The villas was large enough for our group. It was quite literally 50 steps from the sand. The villa was nicely decorated. The only negative points was a hard mattress and very limited utensils in the kitchen. We would not hesitate to rent here again. The Pink Octopus restaurant was excellent. We ate 7 out of 8 meals there and every dish was delicious. Palm Cay is a lovely beachfront development and is away from the hustle and bustle and cruise ships of Nassau. However, expect a trip of 30-40 minutes if you want to go into Nassau for dinner/shopping.
