Our Thanksgiving stay at your Bald Head Island house was absolutely wonderful! The kids especially adored the bunk bed room, which became their own little haven. The ocean view from the house was simply breathtaking, providing a constant source of entertainment and relaxation. The house itself was spotless and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. All the amenities were in excellent condition and met all our needs. The only minor suggestion I would offer is that upgrading the cookware would be a great improvement. Overall, we had a truly magical Thanksgiving experience at your home. The kids had so much fun exploring the island, and we all enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the setting. A lot of the places on or near south beach are just too much house for a small family of three or four, but the Sail4Fun is the perfect size (could easily accommodate two adults and 3 children) and is in a fantastic location. The ocean views from both levels are great and the beach access is literally a few steps across the wynd. We had a great stay. The “older” golf cart with the higher tires has some good pep, too, which is a nice bonus.

We have been coming to the island for 20 years now, and this is one of the few houses we’ve stayed at that we would have no hesitations about returning to. The house was clean, outfitted well, and the layout was perfect for a small family. The furniture and decor were proportioned well and took advantage of the space. This never happens, but somehow, the view was actually better and more beautiful than the photos suggest. The owner was extremely communicative and responded immediately. Thanks for everything!

We have been coming to BHI for over 35 years. We sold our house and have been staying at different properties on the island. This house was one of our favorites! It was decorated great and the kitchen was stocked. 2 carts was helpful to have and we really enjoyed the view. House is great for couples or even 2-3 couples. We hope to stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is well equipped and a very short walk to the beach. We especially enjoyed the views from the upper deck. We will definitely be back!

This was our first trip to BHI. We had a great experience and 8 Killegray Ridge was the perfect place to stay. The house was clean and well appointed. Views from the top deck were fabulous. The kitchen has been updated and was well stocked. Master bath is beautiful. We were not fans of the hard beds but we managed. The proximity to the beach and the market was very good. We would stay here again.

This is a cute 2 bedroom house, right across from South Beach. There is a view of the ocean from the living room. It has recently been renovated, and is a very nice place to stay.

We love Bald Head Island, and the Sail4Fun house checks all the boxes: ocean view from the living area (reverse floor plan with open living area on upper floor), short walk across the road to beach access, enough space for our family of 4 without paying for a huge house we don’t need. This may be one of only a few smaller houses so near to the ocean. I felt comfortable letting my 12 and 9 yr old kids walk to the beach themselves and gaining some independence. We love that the house comes with 2 golf carts and 4 adult bikes. Kitchen is well -stocked and we cooked most meals at the house.

Wonderful rental for the family. The path to the beach was simple and a quick walk. The open concept living, dining and kitchen was great for everyone to be together yet apart. Thanks for a great vacation

Good location and overall nice design. However, the bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were cheap and lumpy, and the floor left our feet or socks dirty after ten minutes. The door lock required an arm wrestle to open every time. We were subjected to a claim against our insurance coverage for damages to the golf cart we didn’t even drive. We won’t be back!

This home was exactly what I was looking for my vacation—close to the beach, easy access to the marina stores and golf cart use.

We enjoyed this small house up on killegray Ridge, with lovely views from upper porch , lovely kitchen dining and living area, and such a short walk down to the beach. Would be a great house for a couple with four kids who can share the second bedroom.

Ideal location and size for small family. Nicely decorated, well equipped cottage. We will be back!

This was a girls trip with 5 women and Carol's house was the perfect spot for us to get away from work, children, life, etc and relax. Carol was EXTREMELY prompt in responding to a couple of issues we had and everything was fixed and just perfect. The view off the upstairs balcony is perfect to check out and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. The golf carts were perfect, plus the extra perk of having 4 bikes was amazing to explore the island. The location is also ideal being right in between the east beach and the central area with the shops and market. I would highly recommend this beach oasis on Bald Head.

We had a great time at this adorable house. The location is great. Close to East Beach/Mikes Bites, and close to the market and restaurants. The golf carts were in great condition and there were boogie boards and toys for the kids. It’s small, but we didn’t any more room for our family. Aldo’s clean and decorated nicely. Only negative I can say is that there weren’t extra sheets, which are nice when traveling with kids. Sand in sheets is no fun! We definitely want to book again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Carol was great at communicating and made sure we had beach towels at our request. The house is beautiful and well equipped and evenings on the upper porch watching the water at twilight were wonderful. We cook a lot and make our favorite meals on vacation. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, except for measuring cups. If you’re cooking or baking, maybe bring some with you. Otherwise, we found everything from cheese graters to bottle openers. For my wife and I, the master bed was a bit hard and we didn’t get the best sleep. We made up for that with afternoon naps on the plush and comfy sofa and relaxing at the beach which is a quick 5 minute walk away. The provided beach chairs were wonderful. Carol even had bottles of sunscreen available for us. We were really pleased with Sail 4 Fun. We’ve stayed in a lot of places on BHI and this one was great. Perfectly situated for easy walks over to the beach every day and cozy and comfortable after a long day in the sun!

Killegray Ridge is a great location on the island with incredible views of the ocean. House was perfect! Highly recommend.

I booked a 3-night stay for my parents at this property and after leaving, they immediately started making plans to come back. Awesome location, incredible views, sparkling clean, nicely decorated, and peaceful. This was a very special trip for them and I am so grateful to the host for making their time so wonderful! The house was perfect for the two of us. Clean and comfortable, with a great view from the top floor and deck, and easy access to the beach. We hope to return for another stay soon!

We've stayed on Bald Head Island several times before finding this wonderful home! We agreed this was the best VRBO on the island! Relaxing, clean and we had a beautiful view of the ocean. Amenities were fantastic! Well stocked coffee! And we were greeted with a bottle of wine with a thoughtful welcome note!
