We have been staying in the Lake Harmony area with our family every year for over 6 years now. We had yet to rebook a home until we stayed at the Chalet last summer. We were so happy with the home that we decided to rebook again for this year. The home continued to meet our expectations. Any issues were quickly resolved by Maria who is the most easy going yet extremely courteous host I have experienced in all my travels. Some of our favorite parts of the home are the incredibly well equipped kitchen, the game room on the bottom floor for the kids, the hot tub which is so easily accessible, the garage to store all our shoes, golf clubs, etc. and the fire pit! We have stayed in homes before that were not kept as clean as we desire. Maria takes pride in her home and has made sure that it is up to our standards. You will not regret booking a stay at Le Petit Chalet.

The place was perfect for group of 8 adults , 2 toddlers and 2 babies. Kitchen was well equipped. Hot tub was perfect for us to hangout. All attractions and restaurants are close by from the rental which we loved it. Quick response to texts.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Cabin is beautiful, the location is great, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed the hot tub, and grilling on the deck. We plan to return soon.

We spent 10 days at this property (two boys 5, 8) and one half of the stay we had my parents visit to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The second part of our stay we had a family with two boys (6, 9) join us. Even though it was our first time in this area, Maria had prepared us with packets on how to navigate the area, several food options and activities to do in the area, and was always accessible for small questions like do you have any Advil in the house as well as bigger questions like how to "turn off the hot tub" (which you never do!). Her kitchen is well stocked with appliances and plates/bowls/mugs (and spices and cookware) and is very suitable for people who plan to cook at home. We stayed at a second property in the same neighborhood and it was clear that Maria takes very good care of her home and guests. The rooms were spacious, comfy and the temperature was regulated by individual thermostats/AC units. It was quiet during the nights with the occasional new rentals that came in for their weekend party. One small complaint I had was the level of cleanliness of the floors and carpeting. The kitchen floors were fairly dirty with visible sticky spots, crumbs and greasy smear marks. I chose to clean it myself to make sure it was done quickly and thoroughly. The carpeting/rug area is a bit worn and looks dirty, even though it may have been vacuumed. The sheets and towels were clean and good quality (compared to the second property where it was close to sheets of paper for linens). The kids had plenty to do on the lower level with the several games left for renters to enjoy, and so the adults were able to enjoy some quiet time upstairs with some conversation and card games. And the outdoor activities were enjoyed by all (except, be extra careful on the "little boulder" field in Arrow Wood Ct, both ends of our age range fell including 5 year olds and a 76 year old). Overall, we highly recommend this property because it comes with a very responsive owner, and it is clear to us that she takes great pride in her adorable property and takes good care of it and her guests.

This cozy clean mountain home was perfect for my family during these times and would be great for anyone seeking a rustic yet modern retreat. The host Maria was very informative and accommodating since our last minute booking was cancelled. The home itself was well-kept with pride and joy as you can feel the owners have for it with its little touches. Highly recommend and will certainly be back in the summer! Thank you again for opening your home.

The property was very nice and cozy. We wish we had more days at the location. The place had only 2 TVs so we’re encouraged to spend time together as a family... Which was a wonderful thing. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing was the mattress need to be updated and the living room sofa and couch but it was manageable.

We had a great stay. The house fit 13 of us. The owner communicated with us and responded quickly. The lake is too far to walk to especially If you can not walk up/down hills. But it is a .9 mile car ride and the lake is absolutely beautiful.

When we walked into this cute house we were very impressed with how clean it was. Every surface was pristine and dust free. The hot tub was amazing and the TV room downstairs was a lot of fun with the chest full of old school games. Wonderful house for a family.

We loved our stay at this property. Very clean! The owners responded quickly and kindly to any questions we had. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and sitting by the camp fire. We went on several lovely hikes nearby. It was perfect for a get away with friends.

Mini vaca with family. Home is nicely furnished and decorated with all the necessities. Excellent communication and detail for check in and check out. Close to Lake and activities

We have stayed at many Lake Harmony rentals over the past five years and Maria’s home is by far the most organized and clean. We had everything we could have asked for and she was quick to respond throughout the whole process. We were so pleased we already booked our week for next summer!

Perfect experience and I don't say that lightly. The property and location are a 10 by themselves but when you add Maria (the owner) and her attention to every detail, her forethought of anything you may need or be looking for...things go to another level. We did this as a one time alternative to our usual trips (Disney, cruise, Island, etc) to avoid crowds during this time. Well my wife and kids are already on me to make sure we come again next year! Can't say enough. If you don't rent this property, you're missing out.

Traveling during Covid times is challenging. One has to consider things in a whole new way like travel, dining, daily activities.. We wanted a large comfortable place not far from our home just to share quality time with our kids and grand baby. This property is within walking distance to the lake where there is a beach but it was rather crowded and people were not social distancing. We were much more comfortable staying at the rental itself, where we grilled our meals, sat out on the wrap around deck and enjoyed the hot tub at night. Everything was in very good condition, nicely decorated and stocked, ample space for several families and the owner was very responsive to whatever questions or concerns we had. It was enjoyable to be with family and unwind in tranquil surroundings.

Thank you so much for sharing your cozy beautiful home! It is really a gem- our family loved the rustic French decors and reminded us on our trip to the Alps.  The place is so convenient to ski resorts and restaurants.  At night, we relaxed in the hot tub looking up in the clear sky and had s'mores (sticks provided) with the warmth of the firepit.  The kitchen is clean and well-stocked and we even used the fondue! The kids enjoyed the toys and board games provided. Thank you for thinking of details and thoughtful touches- we are already talking about coming back next year. We had a memorable family retreat!

My friends and I stayed at this house from 6/23/16-6/26/16 and to be honest, this house has it all. Everything is very well organized as well as labeled and maintained. The house was very easy to get to and Maria and Max were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is quiet and no one bothers you. The house literally a get away from everything and was definitely everything that was advertiszed. I would absolutely stay here again as well as recommend it.
