Beautiful property and amazing view especially at sunrise. Spacious rooms and well equipped home. Plenty of outside toys available, ping pong, corn hull, kayaking, boating etc. Treats provided by Honeybee owners Dawn and Chris. Close to Little Elm even enjoyed golf near by. Would highly recommend this family home! Great Murphy bed off master bedroom but room to small to use.

For our two families this house was absolutely ideal

We had a great time and the property is perfect for a large family. Really enjoyed the outside spaces and views. They had plenty of toys for us to play with on the lake. Just wish the La k wasn’t so low when we were there. But a great time

It was extremely hot outside while we were there, really too hot to enjoy the outdoors. Had the weather been cooler all the bugs and spiders would have kept us from enjoying the patios. The owners did have someone come and spray midweek but I feel like that should have been done before guests arrive. They were quick to resolve whatever issue we had and we appreciated that. It was a nice house.

This property was such a great place to host a get together with my friends. The house is very spacious and looks exactly like the pictures. We are hoping to come back for a lake day again!

Whole process went smoothly from beginning to end. Hosts were very helpful and welcoming. House was beautiful, well stocked and immaculately clean. Location on lake was perfect—we all spent time enjoying the view. Even though we were only 30 minutes from home, we definitely felt like we were on vacation. Would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful property, as advertised. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the Lake. Lots of nice touches, Honey from their on-site Bee Hive, plenty of filled propane tanks, TP etc... Not something I have often seen. A number friends that visited for our Crawfish Boil are looking at the property for their next vacation. Dawn was great with communication and we look forward to another visit!!

Our staff did a 2 day overnight retreat at the HoneyBee Hideaway. It was a prefect size with spacious rooms and plenty of spaces to commune together.So clean and cutely decorated. 100% would book again. The back patio and amazing weather was the highlight of the space.

My daughter was graduating with her DPT from TWU and this place was perfect for our family to celebrate this joyous occasion! It was only 25 minutes from the university with a very easy drive. We had plenty of room for everyone to stay, a great kitchen to prepare meals (inside and out). We were close to a lot of great restaurants and shopping also. The neighborhood is very peaceful with beautiful views of the lake! Highly recommend this place!

The house was perfect! As seven mom of teens and college students, we really appreciated that the house was fully stocked with cooking supplies, coffee and paper goods! They also provided firewood and s'mores - it was the perfect ending to our weekend!! We loved the kitchen table for playing games and the ping pong was fun!! The host so super fast to respond to any questions we had and if we decide to head north again, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!! Honeybee Hideaway is a great place to stay!!

This home is so beautifully appointed and decorated. The honeybee theme is so charming!!! We also loved the hot tub! It was a perfect place to hang out with our adult kids!

We had an incredible weekend. I can’t think of anything the owners didn’t think of. The owner were super responsive and so pleasant to work with. The views were amazing. My family celebrated my daughter graduation from UNT, we could not have picked a better spot. If the opportunity permits we will definitely come back.

Loved the experience on the lake. The house was gorgeous. We had three couples in our party, a third full bath would have made our experience perfect.

Me and my adult children gathered for some quality holiday time together. We did arts and crafts, cooked, played games, ping pong, watched an old favorite movie and enjoyed the living room with fireplace. The property was well stocked with all we needed and the few questions I had were immediately answered. We were so lucky and had front row seating to the drone show across the water. We plan to go again next year!

Beautiful oasis for a visit to DFW. Minutes from all the sites, but getting back to the lake will be the highlight of your day. Fun for the entire family. Hosts are terrific, welcoming, kind, and great communicators. Will definitely return.

Between activities in our busy week this was a saving grace to land at in the end of the day. A little confusion with check in day so that slowed me down a bit but the owner made up for it quick! She also sent us crumble!! Thanks again for being part of our magical weekend!

Our family had the best time hanging out at this lovely property! There was so much to do….ping pong, corn hole, fire pit, and enough space for our party of 7 adults/two children 1 & almost 3 to sleep, eat, and gather. Loved finding all the bees scattered throughout the home!! Even brought home honey gifted to us. Thanks to the Robinson’s! 🐝🐝🐝

The house was amazing. It was extremely well decorated with beautiful view of the lake.

Honeybee Hideaway provided a fantastic escape for our family. It was conveniently located to the DFW metroplex but felt like a proper getaway. We appreciated having access to the kayaks and paddle boards, ping pong table, darts, lawn games and board games. They provided a fun diversion. And the house was generously equipped with basics including cleaning supplies and spices. The patio was a lovely place throughout the day. With the shade trees and breeze off the lake making it inviting even in the midst of the afternoon with everyone enjoying idling on the porch swing. The only drawbacks in our estimation were the layout which made for a little less privacy than we might have liked, the stairs which proved difficult for our 79 year gran, and a toilet that wasn't in good working order. But all in all, ours was a fantastic stay.

My family and I spent a few days at this wonderful property right on the lake. Plenty of space and access to whatever we needed. Chris & Dawn were very quick to respond to my first time VRBO questions. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed here during our sons wedding and had a few extra days afterward to just relax and enjoy the lake. Overall it was a great place to stay!

All I can say is Wow!!! What a beautiful property! The house and grounds are spectacular! Even better than the photos. We had a family get together and it was absolutely perfect! The house is very spacious, the kithcen is great, with a big island in the middle. The views of the lake and well manicured yard are beautuful and the yard is huge! Dawn was so gracious and left us a smores kit which everyone loved! We would without a doubt stay here again. Looking forward to returning to the Honeybee Hideaway!!

Oh man, where to start! This place is a little piece of heaven on earth. We had 3 families staying here all with one kid each ranging from 8 up to 13 and all girls. We stayed at this property from Thur-Sun for a wedding, and when we weren’t tied up with wedding festivities we were mostly hanging out on the back porch lounging on the porch swing. We had our morning coffee there and enjoyed a little nap in the afternoon out there as well!! Even in the higher temps the breeze mixed with water made this a very comfortable place to relax. The house itself is very spacious with lots of room to move around. The kitchen was nice, open and well stocked. The entire back part has large windows giving every room a wonderful view on the lake The views from the master bedroom were wonderful to wake up to, we got see lots of little creatures in the morning and evening. The only extremely minor issue I had was that the curtains in there didn’t go all the way across, if you’re someone who needs darkness in order to sleep in might be a little difficult. Communication with the owners was extremely easy and quick too! If for any reason we ever come back this way I’ll definitely try to book this place to stay! Thank you for opening your home, it’s quite a gem!!

The property was just minutes from Dallas but felt like we were hours away! So peaceful, with a ton of space inside and outside to spread out and just relax (amazing porch swing) or to enjoy all that the property has to offer, including a hot tub, fire pit, kayaks & paddle boards! Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer!!! :) The house is impeccably decorated & there wasn't anything missing in terms of conveniences or amenities. 10/10 would stay here again. We can't wait to go back...and have been telling all of our friends all about it!

Although we live locally, we had family coming in for Easter. Honeybee Hideaway is a spacious home in a gorgeous location. My children and grandchildren loved it. They were able to kayak, fish and use the hot tub. We brought along a badminton set. The lawn is enormous and they played for hours. The house is beautiful. Definitely the nicest VRBO home that I have rented. The owner REALLY went out of her way to be welcoming. She left a very nice Easter basket and Smores kit which the kids LOVED. There was everything you needed including coffee and creamers. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful vacation property! We did enjoy our time staying there for lake view, cooking, kayaking, and fishing. It only wish there were more kayaks and larger life vests for adults. By the way, thank you for the ice cream!

Our family had the best time here! The weather was colder for Spring break but it didn’t stop the kids from paddle boarding and trying the kayak. The fire pit was a hit at night time and the view of the lake morning to night is beautiful! We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with spices, knives, dishes etc and great space to entertain our family of 7 with room to spare. Pretty sure we utilized every part of the property including the ping pong table in the garage and the Egg bbq. Great memories were made and we would come back for sure! Thank you Chris and Dawn
