The house in rotunda West was a nice property. Just needs a little things for upkeep. Vacasa was great in what they sent and answering me back when I had a couple questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again if the owner would make some small improvements

Overall: It was a good stay for us. House is roomy, good layout, 4 smart TV's, nice pool/lanai, good location, quiet walking neighborhood, good site privacy, cleaning crew was good.
The house maintenance is sorely lacking. Needed improvements: Shower floors very slick especially master . We bought and left non slip mats. Carpet is worn, dirty, stained & well past time to replace. Cloth furniture needs cleaning. No mattress pad & 1 set of sheets for king bed. Some white towels stained. Garage door opener inoperable, unsafe, had to lift heavy door and prop open with stick to get bikes out. Garage stinks. Lanai screen not repaired yet from hurricane but it was not a problem for us. No bike helmets. Loose door knobs. Small Gas grill. Pool loses lots of water need to add 3”+ every other day (easy). The first day spouse put yoga mat next to queen bed, laid on it turned her head & under the bed was a rat trap set w/ peanut butter. There was a scream. Note: we never saw rodents or any sign of them or bugs in the house but it was not a good start to our stay.
The house has good bones and is a good pet friendly place, it does need work, better maintenance, and attention to detail to make it an excellent place to spend a month.

Very disappointed with this so called Rotonda Retreat
We’ve stayed at several places in this area before this place which were all spotless
Very dated no improvement I don’t think have ever been made in years.
The carpet was covered in stains so bad you couldn’t walk with bare feet.
The dishwasher did not clean the dishes
The light above stiove was burnt out
No batteries in any of the clicks or remote for TV
Zippers on all the chair cushions were broken
Light in garage burnt out
Mold and scum in Master shower
Kitchen counter top coming off
Faucets very hard to turn on
Hot tub was not even heated ( that would require an extra fee)
Child fencing around pool hanging half on half off
Hose sprawled all over the deck not rolled up neatly
Landscaping all over grown
Back breaking bed not comfortable at all
Chipped dishes
Furniture all old and not comfortable
Just not the Rotonda “Retreat” they lead you to believe
All Ana all we will not be back to this place

The house and pool are lovely in a quiet neighborhood. The location is near the community park with yoga, pickle ball and other sports groups.
The best lighting for reading in the evening is the dining room or on the lanai. We finally found out about the "streaming" TV arrangement before we left home, which in the end really didn't work for us.

The only thing that was really clean was the pool but the spa didn't work. The pictures are old and don't reflect reality. The property is a jungle, the garage smelled of garbage and we had an A/C repair at 10 p.m. and the filter hadn't been changed in a year and a half. Never got done.

House was as pictured. Furnishings were dated. Garage door sounds like it is about to break and small bugs crawling on floor and wall in master bathroom. Pool was nice and location for our stay was good.

This is a beautiful home with plenty of space inside and out. The lanai is amazing and the pool is great. I would recommend getting rid of the carpet and putting down tile. This would be much easier to keep clean (and dry)! The landscape also leaves a lot to be desired! The privacy it adds is nice but plants and trees are overgrown and an eyesore compared the homes around it!!

The house and pool are lovely in a quiet neighborhood. The location is near the community park with yoga, pickle ball and other sports groups.
The best lighting for reading in the evening is the dining room or on the lanai. We finally found out about the "streaming" TV arrangement before we left home, which in the end really didn't work for us.

We wanted a house in an area that was not so populated or busy with tourists. We also wanted a house with pool just in case we had rain. The space of home, location, heated pool option and 15 min or less from everything including the nicest public Boca Beach 🏝 was all perfect for us.
It’s traditionally decorated and older furnishings BUT we didn’t need fancy we needed practical and clean. In either case the house was very nice, comfortable and ideal for a blended family with children, teenagers and adults.

With the above mentioned, I usually give a good rating. Even when things have gone wrong, I usually still give a good rating because the unexpected happens, we can’t expect perfection. The reason I did not give this house a 5, was not due of the things that went wrong, but because of the poor response and seemingly lack of care from the owner
The reason I rated it a 4 was the following
1. We traveled a long way and arrived at the house 45 minutes early, but they refused to let us in. The house was empty and the cleaners gone. I have rented many houses, even during Covid, and on the few occasions I arrived a little early, there has never been an issue to check in a bit early.
It seemed extremely petty and unnecessary to make us wait 45 minutes
2. One of the reasons I picked this house was because it had a spa.I paid extra money to have it heated (and they required the pool to also be heated even though I was not interested in it). But the spa never heated, it was barely luke warm. I called and I sent a text the next morning. They asked me what was wrong but then did not reply until the very late afternoon almost 8 hours later. And their answer was basically that there was nothing they could do because it was a weekend. The one suggestion they made I tried and it didn’t work. I would have expected them to offer a refund but they didn’t. I had to request it. And then they only agreed to 50%. I have also rented houses where things didn’t work, and they immediately offered to refund money. Its pretty standard to be offered a full refund for a service not provided, not just half of what you paid.
3. One of the TVs did not have the electrical cable to plug it in (minor issue). They never fixed it, and never offered any options other than asking me several times if I was sure the cable wasn’t some place in the house.
It would not have required much effort for the owner to show a bit more willingness to correct the issues. And as I mentioned, it wasn’t so much the problems that occurred, those were pretty minor and I would have overlooked them. It was the “deal with it” attitude

Winter Break
We wanted a house in an area that was not so populated or busy with tourists. We also wanted a house with pool just in case we had rain. The space of home, location, heated pool option and 15 min or less from everything including the nicest public Boca Beach 🏝 was all perfect for us.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property, fair price and a convenient location. I would recommend that the owner leave enough toilet paper and clean towels for the amount of people staying at the property & the carpeting needs replacing, many stains.

Super close the the beach, No traffic getting there. Private pool and hot tub were perfect! The home was very clean and cozy. Tons of outdoor space for my 2 boys, smart tvs and everything we could of needed was fully stocked. Will stay again!!

My family and I had a great time at this large clean home with great private pool. We loved location that we could walk around the neighborhood and making the short drive to beach. Plenty of room and the host was very friendly and responsive to our needs. Made the short stay worthwhile and enjoyable Will book again!

We fly to Florida every year and this house rental was by far the best rental we stayed in.
The house offered way more than we expected, starting with the amazing private jacuzzi and
pool. The entire backyard has a bug screen 👍👍the pool had very warm water for our toddler to swim in and run around on the non slippery floors. The kitchen had everything you need and had new kitchen appliances! Comfortable beds and very clean space! House also provide pool toys for kids and beach items. Can’t say enough good things about this house. I look forward to our next stay!

We fly to Florida every year and this house rental was by far the best rental we stayed in.
The house offered way more than we expected, starting with the amazing private jacuzzi and
pool. The entire backyard has a bug screen 👍👍the pool had very warm water for our toddler to swim in and run around on the non slippery floors. The kitchen had everything you need and had new kitchen appliances! Comfortable beds and very clean space! House also provide pool toys for kids and beach items.
