We were wonderfully surprised by the abundant space provided in each room. The thoughtful layout of appliances and storage provided plenty of room for cooks and quick cleanup. On the main level, there are 2 dining tables & chairs for eight (16), 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers & 2 trash/recycling receptacles + a wonderful granite buffet for serving built into the cabinet system. The basement game room area has another fridge, oven and bar set up. There were plenty of baking, cooking, grilling & cleaning equipment. Kudos for the XL crock pot, a XL stock pot, and a double boiler — all used during our visit. Hosts are gracious, SUPER helpful, and lighting quick to respond to messages! We look forward to returning to Sunset Paradise. 🌅

By far the best home we ever stayed in at the lake. Beautiful, clean, amazing lake view, absolutely perfect! The host is very responsive and made our stay excellent. We will definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful home with amazing views of the lake!!! Lots of space and activities for large families to spend time together. This was our second time booking here and loved our stay add much as the first.

Family get together

This vacation home lived up to it's name "Paradise Sunset" and met all of our needs, and then some! As a large 3-generation family vacationing together, we found the layout of the home to be perfect for us! It allowed each of our 4 unit family to have their own space and we never once felt crowded. The homeowners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. We appreciated their attention to detail, and the many quality, high-end finishing touches in the home. The outdoor living space is amazing, as well as the generous water sports/toys available for use. They made us feel right at home and were a delight to work with. We are already planning our trip for 2024, and can't wait to be back!

Pictures don’t do the home justice. Our young kids loved the lake toys. The adults loved the accommodations and the basement when the kids went down. Sherry and Jim were very communicative and accessible. The home had much more than advertised. We will definitely plan on making another trip in the coming years.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was in a beautiful location and had lots of amenities. We loved being able to use the swim pad, kayaks and paddleboards during our stay. The house was very large and comfortably fit our group. The game room was awesome and kept the kids entertained in the evenings. The kitchen was well equipped with two fridges and two dishwashers! All in all it was a great stay. The house was very clean and well stocked with all of our needs met. Sherry and Jim were excellent communicators and you can see the love they put into the home.

Our family has done Lake vacations for many years, and every time I try to find the perfect place for our large group of adults, children, and grandchildren…I finally found it! Stocked with absolutely everything you could possibly dream of for a week of water fun, family time, great meals, and even a playground, Sunset Paradise exceeded all our expectations! We loved that there were doors to separate family areas so babies (and adults!) could sleep, and the two sided kitchen is genius! We didn’t even need to bring water toys or kayaks as they were already there! This part of the lake is less crowded and the sunsets are stunning, and as a family of 15 we appreciated the spacious screened porch and inside/outside dining options! We thought it might be nice to have a mini-fridge in the amazing screened in party dock, but that’s just because we were feeling extra relaxed and lazy,…. We just walked straight up to the basement fridge and got anything we needed! Jim and Sherry are the kindest and best hosts I have ever had, and always answer anything you need right away! When I asked everyone what they thought of the week , I got a unanimous “Best house ever!”response! We were sad to leave,…but hopefully we will see you next year!!

Our family reunion was absolutely wonderful at this terrific property. Everything was provided for including water floats, paddle boards, kayaks and two docks from which to fish, boat and swim. The fire pit was a big hit too. The layout of the house was perfect for our three families with plenty of space to spend time together or separately. The Jim and Sherry were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the booking process and during our stay. I can’t say enough good things! Many thanks for providing us with great memories.

This house has everything you could need and more. There are accommodations for all ages. The house was perfect for our extended family vacation. Everyone had a wonderful time. The communication with the property manager was seamless. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Can’t wait until we can do it again.

Very spacious house filled with everything you could need. Incredible screened boathouse with anything you need for the water—numerous rafts, kayaks, paddle boards and 4 person paddle boat. Owners responded immediately with any questions or issues we had. House is located on such a beautiful spot on the lake. I probably saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen at this house.

By far this place was the best place I have ever stayed in in my life it was fully equipped so many rooms in this house lakefront couldn’t have asked for more excellent stay you’d be crazy not to stay here. So many activities to do paddle boards, kayaks, little pinky paddle boat, all included. You will not need to leave the premise. Fully equipped kitchen, every room was fully equipped. And don’t forget the awesome game room, don’t miss out on your opportunity to stay here, well worth it. Oh and the hosts Sherry and husband were available anytime if needed, very nice couple, thank you for giving us the opportunity of staying at your resort/home loved it

I hate to give a great review to this property because I don't want competition booking it in years to come! It is wonderful. It is spacious and well furnished. It is comfortable - not too fussy, not at all scruffy, very clean. It has so many amenities: We kept discovering things as we stayed! Beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean & bright, kitchen is well-stocked. The owners are generous, considerate and welcoming. I think it is best suited to larger groups because it is a very large home. There are many things to do in the house itself: pool, air hockey, foosball, televisions, games and more games, kitchens for cooking (2!), refrigerators (3!) for beverages. There is a screened porch for porch sitting, watching sunsets, sipping coffee, eating meals. There is a screened dock for hanging out over the water, there is another dock for your boat if you have/rent one. There are kayaks and paddleboards and tube and life preservers to enjoy. We loved making s'mores over the firepit. Absolutely beautiful location. Quiet cove was great for swimming and opened out to the expanse of lake for easy boating. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their wonderful home.

We could’ve have asked for a better place to stay. We had 10 adults and 8 kids ages 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 7, and 9. Jim & Sherry were amazing! They were very easy to talk to and contact if we needed anything. Although, we didn’t need much. The only thing we couldn’t find was the vaccum, but they responded immediately. Jim came to get the trash halfway which was very helpful. The house had everything we could’ve needed. I was happy to find a crib and high chair. In the past we have had to rent these. There were even pads that I used for diaper changes. There were lots of blankets & towels. Having 3 full refrigerators has so helpful! The views were stunning! The house huge and beautifully decorated. The pictures don’t do it justice. Having games for the kids and coloring stuff was nice for the little ones. The kids loved the air hockey table and the adults loved the pool table. The playground was perfect! Our kids went on it every day after breakfast. It was nice not being close to any other houses and nice to have plenty of parking spaces. We have had issues with this in the past with other rental places. We rented two boats & a jet ski. There were enough cleats for the boats and ski jet to be docked correctly. The boat house had everything! Floats, kayaks, paddle boards, a paddle boat, a lily pad, fishing rods, water gun toys, and life jackets. There were even tubing floats. We all loved using all of the equipment. We spend hours at the house. It was the perfect location and had the perfect set up. I also have to mention our comfortable the beds were! I slept better then ever! Which we all needed with all the little ones we were chasing around. Everyone in the house raved about the beds. We all want to buy them for our homes now. We all (adults and kids) had the time of our lives. We cannot wait to come back! Thank you so much Jim and Sherry! You both are amazing!

The house and property were amazing!! Wonderful owners who have thought of everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Some of the highlights included the amazing views, the dock house with a large selection of water toys, very comfortable beds, great game tables in the basement and the house was so clean! This was our first time vacationing at the lake and we will definitely be back!

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations! The house was the most well appointed VRBO property we have ever stayed in! So many personal touches like a personal greeting message when you walk In, bag of ice for us, snacks, spices, condiments, paper towels, extra TP, all kinds of float devises and water toys… such a wonderful property!! Can say enough good things about it!

Perfect for a family gathering of all ages! Everyone had a great time. There isn’t one thing I would change. So glad we chose this location!

Jim and Sherry stated to me that they tried make the home as welcoming and accommodating as possible. Unfortunately they understated what they had accomplished, it was over and beyond our expectations. We had a large party of 4 families and still had room to find hiding places to escape. The location was perfect for viewing sun sets, thus the name of the property "Sunset Paradise", The fishing/boat dock was mere steps from the house. The party dock house was perfect for the adults to have a cocktail next to the water without intrusive insects. The water sports equipment kept everyone active and entertained. The house, here is were it becomes difficult to review with out it being a novel, one simple word, "WOW". We as a group have rented numerus VRBOs and this is the best we have been to. It was the the most well prepared for guests, from the linens on the cozy beds, to the well thought-out and accommodated bathrooms, to the kitchens (1 main floor and 1 lower floor) and the exurbanite gathering space that this house provides. I also have to mention the property its self, room for frisbee, hide and seek, abundance of cars and as many deer you can think of to play with. I guess the quality of a place is stated when everyone in the group is trying to figure our at 10:00pm the last night of your stay to contact the owner to extend their stay.

In addition to a beautiful location, the home was spacious and our family could spread out if we chose to. Rooms were inviting and beds very comfortable. The amenities were amazing - water toys, kitchen supplies, games, etc. We literally didn't leave the property, except for boating. Truly a great experience - one which we hope to repeat!

The house is perfect for multiple families with children. We had three families with 7 children total and all had their own beds. The house is wonderfully appointed with everything you need for a Great Lake trip! We all loved the party doc, kayaks, paddle boards and fishing! The owner is so nice and was very helpful when we needed anything.

An absolutely amazing time!! Such a beautiful house on a breath taking point!! Sherry and her husband were so friendly and courteous and really went the extra mile to make our stay unforgettable!!
