This was a great place to stay with 4 kids - lots of rooms and beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to eat dinners in. Julia was super responsive and helpful with information about the mountain and directions.

My wife and I along with our 3 sons and wives (1 baby) stayed for 3 nights and went skiing. Plenty of room to sleep all of us. Could walk to the pool, slopes, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

The place is showing it's age a bit but is a fantastic location to ski or enjoy the village.

Very clean and well appointed property located a very short walk to slopes, market and the village. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms slept 8 comfortably. Communication with the property manager was also excellent. We will be renting this property again. Thank you!

A group of friends came up for the end of season pond skim at Snowshoe. Our leatherbark unit was large enough for all of us and well appointed. Comfortable beds and couches and close the slopes. We would stay again.

Our family of 4 adults and 2 children stayed in this unit for 3 nights. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very small, but that was fine because we didn't spend much time in them! The comfortable living room and upstairs loft area allowed for everyone to spread out and relax. The kitchen was also very small, but met all of our needs without issue. Check in using a lock code was super easy, check out was generous at 11am, and communication with the owners was smooth. The location is quiet and convenient - easy to catch the free shuttle and also easy to walk to the pools, the Village, and the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

We had such a wonderful weekend at Leather Bark! The home is as exactly as described with no surprised. The home was well-stocked and felt very cozy. Owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Will definitely be considering for return trips!

Our stay was great! The location was so close to the village and the place was cozy with lots of beds for family. The host was really responsive and great to work with- would definitely stay here again!

The place was very tidy and lovely, equipped with everything you may possibly need. The house is spacious, perfect for a family vacation or with friends - especially liked that the unit had 2 floors! The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had. She provided helpful information prior to our stay in order to better prepare us for the drive and our stay. The check-in process was convenient and easy as well. The location was also a huge plus - an easy walking distance to the Village and across the street from a grocery store. Can't get any better than that. We would absolutely recommend staying here, and would stay here again!

Wildcat grocery is just across the street for common items you may have forgotten, and the Village is a short walk away (about 5 minutes to split rock pools at the nearest end of the village). Bonus - It's the 2 top-floors so there are no noisy neighbors above you making any noise. The owners are 5-star communicators and answered all of my questions before, and during the stay. I was concerned because we'd be arriving close to midnight, but their lock used programmed codes just for us -- it just worked.
