Megan was very responsive to all my questions. House is fabulous, comfortable and quite inviting and interesting. The backyard is amazing and I would like to have stayed when the weather was warmer.

This home was a beautiful stay while in town visiting family. The decor is fun, the kitchen stocked with all the tools to cook, even some Miss Pac-Man to play. The beds all comfortable. The outdoor area is amazing! We were off season for the pool but looks perfect. Tons of seating in different spots. We grilled and used the solo stove for a bon fire. Our only challenge was for my 65 year old dad with a bad knee. The bathrooms are all upstairs or in the basement level. So it was difficult on him for having to get upstairs to use the facilities. Simply something to consider if an obstacle. We hope to be back! Thank you!

Our family had an amazing time at the Gingerbread man house! The kids were in the pool all day - there were so many toys and amenities that really made the trip so easy. The house was the perfect size for our family of four - there was plenty of room for everyone to chill out and relax. The kids loved playing hide and seek throughout the house and yard. The house was well stocked and extremely clean. They even left muffins for our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our summer. We would definitely come back next summer.

Carlisle Castle was the perfect fit for what we all were looking for! A relaxing week just chilling by a pool with family & friends. House was spotless & equipped with everything we needed! The grounds are beautifully manicured & the pool is fantastic! We arrived slightly earlier then expected & were just going to grab a bite but Megan informed me that the residence was ready & we could check in. That was a nice surprise & appreciated ☺️ The family had a great time & we already discussed our next visit!

It truly was a resort level stay and to have sole possession of this property was a treat for our unique group.. The grounds were a feast for our eyes. There was a lot of attention to detail in landscaping with over a dozen diffrent bird houses. The home was clean, well stocked with great quality items with anything you can think of. We played corn hole,, basketball in the pool,, sunbathed and sat and chilled out around the fire pit and much more.. Located across the street from super Walmart, Chic FIL LA, Liquor store, Subway and Chipotle. Plus others we did not go to. You don't want to miss this gem!!

Great get away for my family coming to House Carlisle! House is beautiful and clean. Pool is a blast for everyone.

Rented this house for the weekend of my sons graduation from Dickinson. It couldn’t have been more perfect and if anything the description and pictures included “understate” the awesomeness of this place. We stayed with our family of 5 + we had a few friends over one afternoon to enjoy the pool and back yard. The location, was perfect, the house was clean and big enough for us (3 bedrooms upstairs so 2 of my kids shared a room but there was a basement that could have been used as an extra bedroom) and the backyard was like a mini version of Longwood Gardens. Host was also super gracious (left us some muffins) and check in was easy.

Our family of five plus grandma stayed at this property for the Easter weekend. The property is well maintained and very clean. It has a lot of interesting character both inside and out. We stay in four to five VRBO properties per year and my wife commended that the kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've ever seen. Over all the house was very comfortable for our family and we'd come again.

A wonderful home that pictures do not do it justice! And the hostess was so kind and helpful, she thought of every detail that a guest needs!

My friends and I, all Dickinson graduates, returned to town for a long weekend this spring and stayed at the Carlisle Castle. What a fun rental! The kitchen is outfitted with every possible appliance and there was plenty of room in the living and dining rooms to hang out and chat or eat together. The bedrooms were comfortable appointed as well. We had a great time! Thank you for letting us stay!

We decided to rent a house that was central to a wedding in Gettysburg and make a long weekend of it . This house is so unique - Megan thought of literally everything you could want it need and then has it all perfectly labeled . Everything is spotless and the location is great . Just off 81 and in downtown Carlisle but in the back you are at a private estate . So much history here also . Overall it’s a total 10 and worth every penny . We will be back again for sure !

The Carlisle Castle is a great home to have as your base for a get away. We stayed here while visiting my son and his family for Thanksgiving and the accommodations were great. There is a ton of character in the house itself but also in the property as well. In addition, it is conveniently located near shops and downtown Carlisle.

This property is so lovely. The yard is straight-up magical. We enjoyed the pool, the ponds, the gardens, and the excellent seating areas spread throughout. The inside is comfortable, well-labeled, has all the amenities a visitor could want or need and then some. Everything is clean and so stylish. The owners were in town, so they actually let us in and showed us around. They have created a fantastic place. You will not be disappointed. I have no areas to comment on for improvement. Our stay was great, and we will most certainly return. Thank you, Megan and Jon, for the fantastic VRBO experience.

We booked this house fir a few days looking for a drivable getaway . Slightly familiar with the area bc of the proximity to Hershey and Gettysburg Carlisle was a tad closer of a drive and turned out to be a super cute town .But LETS TALK ABOUT THIS HOUSE !It’s amazing . Inside , outside , the pool - the whole nine yards. The owners thought of every single detail setting it up and it shows . Impeccably clean and the grounds / pool are perfection ( they literally have a full time groundskeeper to keep up - we met him and he showed us the veggie garden that we picked some tomatoes to take home ) The linens / toiletries / stocked kitchen / comfortable real leather furniture and such comfortable beds . I can’t say enough except honestly I really wish we could have stayed an extra few days . Which we 100% will next summer - hopefully a week !Best choice I’ve made online in a long time lol . You will 100% not be sorry if you book the Carlisle Castle !!

Our family had a great mini vacation at this property. It has everything you need and more. There is so much to do and so much care taken into making your stay the best. The pool is amazing. Will be going again soon.
