Well appointed, clean, conveniently located, picture perfect, comfortable…what else can I say?? Perfect vacation property for a multi-generational weekend trip.

I had three friends come for 2 nights at this property. It was very clean when we checked in, and it had everything we might have needed there. We had a little trouble getting the door to unlock, but the property manager helped us with that. I would definitely stay there again.

House was outstanding! We had a wonderful relaxing couple of days. Great location- very short walk to town. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space to spread out. We will definitely come back!

We had a 3 night stay and was very pleased with the home. The home is very comfortable with many different areas to relax. Our favorite was the back porch enjoying the fresh air while watching tv or reading a book. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen items are plentiful. The area is quiet and a short drive to downtown. Highly recommend this property for a stay in Highlands.

Location was great for a wedding and all the associated activities in Highlands, NC. Property was very clean. Enjoyed very briefly spotting the black bear next door one night!

We absolutely loved this house. It’s incredibly convenient being so close to town but also secluded in the forest with its outdoor fire pit amongst the trees. We loved that two of the rooms had their own bathrooms, leaving the kids with their own. Kitchen is well-stocked, and there was ample room for dining. We would definitely come back!

Great little house close to town!

We had a wonderful time in the Highlands & Cashiers area. The home could not have fit our needs any better. Well equipped kitchen, ample space, convenient location, comfortable rooms - all added to our pleasant stay on Holt Knob. Can't say enough great things about how well Daryll communicated with us before, during, and after.

This property is perfect for a cozy get together with family and friends! Location is literally a stones throw to Main Street in Highlands. Very clean, great communication with owner and a place that feels like home! Will definitely be back!!

Spotlessly clean and cozy with lots of room for all. Very comfy beds with lots of pillows and warm covers. Everything we needed was there and more. We loved the fireplace and the screened porch. Best VRBO ever!!!!!!!

Great location. Close to downtown and restaurants. Close to attractions. Loved the outdoor fire pit. And the wood burning indoor fireplace. Multiple dining areas in the cottage. Well equipped kitchen. Multiple TVs for viewing. Lovely neighborhood to walk our dogs through. The manager was easy to communicate with.

Fabulous location with useable spaces! Cute cottage, close to town. Loved that everything was on one level and cottage had a level, easy to access yard. Quiet, safe area!

We had a great time in the mountains. The house was a quick walk to town even with young kids. We had ample space, all the kitchen essentials we needed, and the fire pit outside was perfect for the chilly evenings. Instructions for check in and out were very clear

This place was not worth the money. It was not clean. We should not be charged a cleaning fee since it was not clean to begin with. The lights over the kitchen counter were full of dust and cobwebs . The carpeting in the bedrooms was gross, full of stains.. There was no Kleenex, Bath soap, or hand soap in the bathrooms. The location of the home and the floor plan were good but other than that I would not recommend this home until they replace the carpet and clean the house before guests arrive.

Rented the house for a girls weekend and it was perfect! Everything was as advertised and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to town and a perfect porch to relax on! Would rent again.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this home. The location is great and we had plenty of space for our group. We found everything to be "as advertised" and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

There were a lot of perks of this home than we did enjoy. It’s very close to town, which was really convenient. We could walk there however very steep roads. The mattress in the master bedroom that’s off of the kitchen was very comfortable. We liked the keyless entry feature. A few constructive comments… I do think this home needs a few upgrades if you’re going to be charging the premium rate. The kitchen lacked organization and tidiness. It felt like a hodge podge of what past guest’s had left behind. The pots, pans, plastic bowls, serving utensils etc were just thrown in cabinets & drawers. Overall, everything just felt a little bare minimum for what we paid.

We have stayed in the Highlands multiple times. We absolutely loved this house! Great location, 2 minutes from town. Fenced area for dogs. Great layout and use of space on house. Will definitely return to this house!

You could not ask for a better location. Quiet neighborhood with so many trees you feel like there is not another home for miles. Can’t wait to return!

Location is very convenient to town without feeling like you are in the middle of everything. Ideal for a group of friends that wanted to spend time together, and also have time to spend apart. Would definitely stay here again. Great Host!
