We had a wonderful stay in Arnold! The house was a great fit for our large group - the kids loved the bunk room, there was plenty of space for us all, and the adults loved having some peace and quiet downstairs. We loved sledding in the backyard and the location was great. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time! The house was a great layout and comfortable for our big group with lots of kiddos - they loved playing in the backyard with the sleds and had a blast in the bunk room at night. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and we all fit around the table which was great!

I knew looking at the pictures that this was going to be an amazing house. However, the photos exceeded my expectations when we walked in. This house is beyond the best with accommodations. The house is spectacular. So clean and so cute.! I have two teenage boys who absolutely loved it. The owner is so sweet and personal. We will totally be back.

This was a great place for a family vacation. Comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms. The Bunk house with its private bath was a delightful retreat.

We stayed here for my mother in laws 70th birthday with 10 people including two toddlers. This house was so new, so clean , and so well equipped. When I walked in, I immediately felt so comfortable and couldn’t wait to settle in. ( I’ve rented houses that felt dirty and unwelcoming as soon as I stepped foot inside ) This house had everything that every age group needed. The linens and bedding also were so clean. It didn’t feel like a ton of people has used it or slept in the beds before us which is a great feeling. The house was spaced out well. My husband and toddler and I stayed upstairs in the “kids den” but actually it was great for us because you could not hear a single peep from downstairs who up there. The bathroom was gorgeous and looked so new and clean as well. I left something at the house and the host Kristi was so responsive and on top of it to help me retrieve it back. She was also very fast to respond to anything. I needed all weekend. We will be back! I recommend this house to everyone! Thank you Kristi!

The Cub House is super clean and has all the household items you need. Location was great and the neighbors were very friendly. Communication with Kristi, the owner, was very pleasant. She definitely cares about her property and your stay.

We travel with 2 other families, each with children between 11 and 16. The house accommodated us wonderfully. It is the perfect set up if traveling with children. The upstairs area is separate and self contained with excellent sleeping arrangements, it’s own bathroom, an arcade machine and a board game/charging station. The main living area is wide open with a large couch and seating area large table and open kitchen. It was an ideal gathering space for everyone. There were plenty of activities for outside as well including a fire pit, hot tub, air hockey table and more. The location is great. We were able to see giant Sequoias, an old west town (Columbia) and Yosemite (3 hour drive) while we were there. Lastly, the customer service was fantastic. We received instructions from the property management team but the owner went out of her way to call me ahead of time to ensure our stay was the best it could possibly be. She was a delightful person to talk to and even gave us great recommendations for entertainment (Columbia wasn’t on our radar until she recommended it) Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone planning to travel to this area, particularly with children. It is even better than advertised!

Another plus is the communications. Kristi was very easy to get a hold of for those random questions and she was very helpful in providing a recommendation for a taxi service into the town of Murphys. Will definitely be back!

I booked this home for our yearly company employee appreciation weekend. It was perfect! The home was clean, well appointed and offered plenty of space for our group! The outdoor firepit and hot tub were both very popular and the proximity of the home to both Murphys and Calaveras Big Trees State Park was perfect. Owners were attentive to all of our needs and were a phone call away to answer any questions.

We chose Arnold for our annual family trip and everyone had a great time! There was something for everyone, with plenty of board games to choose from, air hockey, corn hole, and the arcade with retro games was a blast for the kids and adults! We enjoyed an evening by the fire pit, grilling on the bbq, and hot tub to stay warm! The house and kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, plus more! The location was perfect, right near town, there was a market very close by, and plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy for the whole family. The checkin process was easy, the host made themselves accessible to answer questions, and were very accommodating! We hope to be back for another visit in the future!

Super clean and spacious property with beautiful layout, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities for a family vacation in the woods. We were three families with kids ranging from 6 to 12 years. Everyone including the kids had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough pots and pans as well as Kuerig coffee and Nespresso espresso machines. The bathrooms were also stocked with basic amenities and lots of towels. There is also a jacuzzi on the deck which we did not end of using since it was a little chilly and there were so many other things to do. The home has a lot board and card games for the kids ( and adults) and the upstairs kids room has bunk beds, separate TV for kids and a game Arcade to keep them busy. The Big Trees shopping market is less than a mile away and all the main restaurants are within 2 miles which is very convenient. We spent at giant Sequoias at Calaveras Big Trees State Park which is less than 5 miles away and Arnold Rim trail. The ART trailhead is about 2 miles from the property. Not one complaint about this property. We will be back for sure.
