Pros: WORLD CLASS - the stay cannot be described it must be experienced. great location and a house with so much charm and a lot of terraces of all levels. Lots of space everywhere. The view of the bay is indescribably beautiful. The swimming pool was clean and nice. The house was clean and a lot of space. The only minus is the grill that is to be replaced as it is defect and rusty. I would recommend that the landlord gets a professional photographer to shoot pictures of the house, as it is significantly better in reality! We will come back again!

Pros: Wir waren mit 10 Personen im Oktober 2018 in dem Haus. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch den Englisch sprechenden Gabriel ist sehr gut und man hat schnelle Reaktionszeiten. Das Haus ist super eingerichtet und hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung. Das beste ist aber die Lage und der Pool. Von fast überall hat man einen sehr guten Blick auf das Meer und die Bucht und die Sonnenuntergänge sind der Hammer. Gefrühstückt haben haben wir auf der oberen Terrasse (Grillecke). Natürlich auch mit einem tollen Blick. Was ein wenig stört sind die vielen Treppen, da es ein Hanggrundstück ist und man deswegen mehrere Etagen hat. Wenn alle gesund sind, ist es kein Problem. Wir hatten eine Person mit Gehbehinderung dabei, die brauchte oft Unterstützung auf dem Weg zum Pool oder zum Auto. Ansonsten ist es auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert und wir werden gerne noch einmal buchen.

Pros: Four of us stayed at the property (two couples) and both the villa and the location are hard to fault. The layout of the villa was perfect for us allowing space so we could enjoy the facilities either as a group or individually. The pool was fantastic and used every day. There are a lot of steps but we found them OK (we were all over 60 years old) and the walk into La Herradura although quite steep again was not too challenging. We had minor issues due to a torrential downpour of rain one day but these were fixed immediately and on that note everyone we met who looked after the property was very friendly and helpful. Finally, we used the location as a base to visit the nearby Alpujarras and also Granada so the location worked perfectly for us.

Pros: We had a very good time in Casa Cayetano: spacious house with a marvelous seeview, sufficient equipped kitchen and 4 new bathrooms. The infinity pool was realy impressive. Positive is also the different areas for resting or sunbathing and the short distance to the beach and beachbars… Very kind welcoming by Gabriel and also a very correct, flexible and anjoyable communication with our contactman Josse Garcia. The village La Herradura was a little bit disappointing, but we do love Almunécar and Nerga very well. Ludo/ Puurs / Belgium

Pros: Super flot villa med en god beliggenhed og med gåafstand til en fin strand. Der var flere fine terrasser hvor vi kunne nyde maden og den flotte udsigt. Svømmepoolen var fantastisk med udsigt til havet. Huset var fint indrettet og det var flinke folk ser stod for huset.

Pros: I am not a sun-worshipping, beach-loving British tourist. I like a mixture of culture, local (fine) cuisine and physical activity to work off my dietary excesses. My four children (16-24) have learnt to live with this. We have habitually visited France, and occasionally the more exclusive areas in Greece. This was booked as something new, but still with the guaranteed heat and - with post Brexit sterling and children who like a glass - a hopefully less expensive version. It's fair to say expectations were lower than usual. But as soon as we saw the view from the balcony (and pool side, and barbecue area, and the numerous levels of seating areas in the beautiful garden), we loved the house. Yes, it is not (yet) finished to the high spec expected of the executive hotel user; but the wi-fi worked fine, most of the (basic) rooms had efficient air-conditioning (much-needed for sleep on the Costa Tropical) and the pool was deep. We ate out almost every meal, and although they like to fry in these parts, there was plenty of choice in the Town, a 10 minute walk down the hill. And half London prices. The lovely, clear, warm Mediterranean was a steep 5 minutes away. So, I urge you to give it a go. La Herradura is still something of a hidden gem: most of the visitors were Spanish (even though our great mountain biking trip was with Swedish ex pro Bjorn and our wonderful afternoon on the catamaran was run by Brits Kev and Di). I'm hoping to visit the South of France later in the summer, but the views won't be a patch on this place.

Pros: We have been at La Herradura dwelling several days sunbathing and we really enjoy ourselves at the stunning swimming pool and chill out of the house, incredible views from the infinite Pool and incredibly clean and tidy, we really enjoy the gorgeous accommodation and the beautiful views, we would love to come back on September-October this year, although We could see it is already fully booked!
