Very retro feel. Excellent lake access. Reminds me of a camp your grandparents would own.

Property is an adorable no frills cape cottage and great for a laid back relaxing get away. Comfortable and convenient to everything. The only issue was the overpowering musty odor in the home, which most likely is due to the age of the home and location.

This house is an un-updated cape ranch that had everything we needed, and nothing we didn’t. All the appliance are old but worked great. Not a chefs kitchen but great for the basics. Lots of seating areas inside and out, and the dock was perfect for our kayak launches. Beautiful spot, kinda of old timey feeling. Convenient to so many spots and perfect if you just want to chill on the pond. Games and puzzles provided, soft cozy beds and clean. A hammock would have been awesome but maybe they will get one!

We had some issues with the lock box getting in, but the phone support was able to help. Stove/oven was a little sketchy but the great location and views more than made up for it. Beds were also comfy.

We loved our stay. The location is fantastic right on the lake. We enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the lake while relaxing on the deck and large covered patio. The house is charmingly decorated with colorful, cheerful art. There are games and books available in the spacious living room. The bed was comfortable. We explored restaurants near the marina and the Mashpee Commons. We would love to return here one day and explore more of Cape Cod.

This house is really great and the lake and nature are just perfect. I would had rated it higher but we had issues with key when arriving. So, let me provide my thoughts: Positive: - House is very clean, confortable and in a great location for those of us who like more rural areas. - Well equipped kitchen (very good dinner/silverware, lots of glasses, mugs) - sheets and towels are hotel style and high quality - the indoor “porch” was fantastic - living/dinning room were very appropriate - Board games/TV - style - the house is preserved well and it fits the experience - dogs are allowed Negative: - Instructions (access to key was an issue. We resolved it via Vacasa operator but we were tired and annoyed by wrong instructions) - Old cooking pots - Cold (we had very cold two days) and thermostat didn’t seem to work. Instructions were not clear about the heating part. - Electric -since the house is older style, switches don’t work lighting in bedroom were not great - the open deck - nice deck but if you have kids/dogs, they can walk off the deck and fall (high enough to get hurt) While this is not a negative for us, people need to know the house is probably from the 50/60s and in today’s terms, dated. But it is part of the style and charm. If you are looking for a retro vacation with great comfort, this is the house. But if you are looking for modern, new appliances etc, this is not the place. We enjoyed the place very much. So it is hard to grade this airbnb because it was great, yet we had some issues.
