Amazing place and they had all of the amenities you would need! The place was clean and a readers dream getaway. Cute living area with a library loft and lots of little reading nooks. Highly recommended!

More character than in the photos, best stocked vrbo we've been in. Very relaxing beginning and end spot for each day touring PA. The shops and shop staff along the street were kind and fun. The area was very safe and clean.
The apartment had plenty of unique nooks for people to have solitude if desired. The kids loved exploring and painting. We always had a puzzle going on the table we could work on while waiting for others to awaken.
It was fairly simple to travel from here to other destinations. We went to Gettysburg, Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Hershey, Lititz and Lancaster from here. Plus 2 days hanging out in E town.
We would book this place again in a heartbeat!

From the moment we walked into this beautiful home we knew it was just the place for us! The location for the wedding venue, Stone Gable Estates, was in close proximity to the event.
The Firehouse is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the excellent accommodations. Anything you need for a trip is provided at this lovely residence.

The Firehouse Library was just spectacular. The place was very clean, very spacious, beautifully & creatively decorated, well-stocked, and just fun. We could have stayed for a week just exploring all the books, DVDs, games and artwork. It was perfectly located for us since we were doing things in Strasburg (Sight & Sound Theater) and Hershey. The welcome binder gave us plenty of great dining choices (definitely try the Whisk Cafe for brekky) and info about the area. The hosts were terrific. We will definitely be back!

Words cat do justice to how much my family enjoyed this rental. The library was more extensive than expected. Our entire family enjoyed exploring the titles, finding an interesting one, and then settling into one of the amazing reading books located all over the apartment. There were so many special details that made the rental a cut above every other Vrbo we’ve visited—sound machines in the rooms, blackout curtains, a fully-stocked coffee station, an artist’s corner in the library loft, and so much more. We definitely plan to book it again for a longer stay to explore the local sights.

I stayed here for two nights with my wife and two daughters, 10 and 12. This may have been my favorite VRBO I've stayed in. The library is unique and well stocked with books and family games. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, and there are good places to eat (and drink, if you're so inclined) within easy walking distance. Thumbs up all around.

We visit family in the area and this apartment is a great home base and gathering place for us. It's spacious and very clean. There are so many books, puzzles, games, even a painting easel, so we're never bored even during our downtime. The stairs could be difficult for elderly/those with mobility challenges but that hasn't been an issue for us.
The location is great and hosts are helpful and easy to contact.
We enjoy our stays and have made many happy memories at this place!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay the the Firehouse Library! The pictures list do no justice to how beautiful this building is. The loft was perfect for our teenage son and his two friends and the our daughter loved her “princess” room, as she called it, because it had gold accents and a gold vanity. There was a book for everyone and having a large living space to hang out in with everyone was wonderful. The Firehouse I’m in the heart of the downtown area and it was a delight to walk around and visit the local shops. My daughter especially loved the Fancy Unicorn located in the unit under the firehouse. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

This place was absolutely gorgeous!! The location was walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The apartment was huge and we all (6) could comfortably share. It was full of many games, toiletries, dishes, etc. Would visit again.

What an incredible treat to stay here! The firehouse library is as amazing as it looks online. I couldn't tell if there would be many kids books, but there were, along with lots of kids' board games and toys. It was a wonderful location for a family stay with plenty of fun in Hershey, too. The playground that's only a couple blocks away is currently under construction, but looks like it will be great when finished.

Absolutely amazing place!!! We have stayed at many rentals and this home is by far the best. The small town is perfect to explore. Lots to do and the home well it’s very unique. Thank you for our stay. We will be back

You will not be disappointed, wish I could permanently live here. Was such a lovely time playing games , chilling with family, lots of room to spread out and awesome to enjoy meals together . I will definitely be back

We were immensely happy with our stay. The property was located close enough to Round Top for us to enjoy a ski weekend and have a space to spread out when we came back to relax. Host was helpful and property was beautiful.

We rented the "Library" for a long weekend "Girls Getaway" and had the best time! Location is central with ample parking and lots of cute and quaint little shops within walking distance. The apt. was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We split our time between the dining area and the great kitchen island and the library space where we played games, read and watched a few movies. Relaxing and fun space. We were looking for a unique space to cocoon during some cold winter days and nights and we found it in Elizabethtown! Thanks to Carissa for making our stay a comfortable one!

We had a great time and cooked dinner together. My sister in law left her spoon behind and the property manager mailed it back to us at no charge!!! That was so awesome.

This was a perfect location for my sons wedding at the Iron stone Ranch. This house was well stocked!!! it was very unique Love the library room and just cool details thru out!

My bestie and I brought our four children down for a family trip over the summer. We took the kids to Hershey and then spent our last day and a half loving the peace of the library while the teens explored the cute town. The stay was wonderful. We may even try to go down again for a couples weekend.

We had never been to PA before. We were there to celebrate our son's birthday and head to Hershey Park. The home was beautiful and had so many thoughtful touches throughout. Our boys loved the bunk and loft style beds! The dining and kitchen were great hang out spots. Being able to escape up to the library area for some quiet time was also great☺️ will definitely plan to return!

Amazing property with a large two story library with hundreds of books and lots of games. All beds were comfortable with spacious master. Large kitchen/dining area which was well-equipped. We had a great experience staying at this home in Elizabethtown!

Great location and accommodations
Great location for Hershey park, about 20ish minute drive. Spacious, unique accommodations. Kids loved the different sleeping areas, books, games and overall space. Stocked kitchen. Abundance of linens. Easy parking and apt access. A great trip! Would definitely recommend.
