We brought our 6 month old to Joshua tree as one of our stops visiting California. The adults and baby all enjoyed ourselves at the house especially on the hammock and the swing. The area was easily accessible yet a quiet neighborhood. The house is equipped with all the essentials including baby playpen and high chair! The hosts were very welcoming and responsive. We’ll definitely recommend this place! And hope to visit again in the future.

First time in Joshua Tree. Went there to celebrate a birthday for a week. It was incredibly relaxing and beautiful.

Our family of 5 had a blast. The place was fantastic and well kept. Will definetly consider booking again!

Overall, this property was great! We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay with my family of four. The property could use a deep clean as the tops of things were quite dusty and the paint needs some touch ups. One shower with the smaller sink would not get very hot either. We would use AvantStay to book in the future.

Our stay was pleasant! The home was stylish and well stocked. The location was decent, it is on the main road that takes you to the Joshua Tree park entry. The backyard was not as private as we would have liked. The pool overlooks the main road and there is a wire fence that separates you from the road. There as one other disappointing moment during our stay. The pool guy came around 2pm on our second day and seemed to have put chemicals in the pool which prevented us from enjoying the pool that day. All in all the home was lovely. I would have given a better rating if the yard was fully fenced in and if we were able to use the pool on our second day.

We loved the location and all this place had to offer. Mornings in the hot tub while the kids splashed in the pool. The ping pong table got plenty of use and we loved eating dinner outside. Definitely will come back

My wife and one year old son spent 6 days at Chicory. A wonderful modern / new vacation home. Great amenities, the pool and spa were great. The location is only a handful of minutes from Joshua Tree NP entrance and close to town - the location couldn't be better. It was a quiet neighborhood. We would happily stay here again.

This house was so perfect for a weekend getaway! The pool area was so nice and relaxing. The house is beautifully decorated and the management company was very responsive with any questions or accommodations we had! Highly recommend!

Absolutely great location with awesome amenities and very modern and clean. Pool and hot tub was an awesome treat to have every day after tromping around Joshua tree national Park. We had a little trouble getting checked in and reaching someone at the property management office. However, we were able to get it figured out and got in just fine.

Unfortunately there were no instructions inside the house, so it took us a long time to access Wi-Fi in order to access the house manual. We did not receive access to the house manual prior to arriving in the desert, so we were not informed that we had to pay extra to heat the pool or that we needed to request it to be heated before our stay. We also couldn’t access the hot tub heat for half of our stay, so we were unable to use the hot tub until just before our checkout time. This was really disappointing as the pool and hot tub were one of the reasons we selected this accommodation. We paid and arm and a leg for two nights without being able to use the pool. The house itself was lovely and well-equipped, although one sliding bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed or lock. As we also had toddlers with us, it was a bit of a shock that there were exposed pipes and things sticking our of the areas of the property that were not landscaped. This wasn’t made very clear by the currently posted property images. Bottom line—a lovely house for adults, but quite a stressful and disappointing stay with young kids.

This was the second stay at this property for our family of 4. We stayed here in March 2022 and returned in March 2023 for another family vacation. The house itself is trendy and more equipped than other VRBO rentals we’ve stayed in. It is a short drive to the Joshua Tree park entrance as well as town. The house has a fun outside space, including a ping pong table, pool, and hot tub.

The house is visually beautiful, perfectly appointed (great games, books, decor and the heated jacuzzi right up against the desert topography was amazing). The bed was so comfortable and it’s close to everything. I loved this property.

Great location just down the road from the park entrance. Photos aren't up to date, but there is a beautiful pool as well - although it was a bit too chilly this time of year to use it, but it would be great in the warm season! The hot tub is also attached to the pool (not a single unit like in the older pics). Very modern and cozy.

Good location and great decor and design. A very well equipped household especially the kitchen. Too bad the primary bedroom had no place to hang clothing. The barn doors on both bathrooms didn't stay shut....kept sliding open. Really liked the patio and spa/pool area which will be very special when completed. Suggest in house paperwork detailing operation of pool/spa and TV for those of us not techies. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the special amenities.....nice library but the top shelves were not accessible......with the titles out of sight, the mystery and curiosity was charming.

This beautiful modern home overlooks the desert landscape only a few miles from Joshua Tree National Park and the quaint village of Joshua Tree. Having breakfast outside while watching the sunrise over the hillside is a beautiful way to start your day. Want a game of ping-pong, lounge in the sun, take a dip in the jacuzzi or lay in the hammock, it’s all here.

I went with my boyfriend to visit Joshua tree and we absolutely loved staying at this place. It’s so adorable inside and out! You could have 4 people stay here but it was just the two of us and we had a wonderful time. We particularly loved all the amenities including the swings, ping-pong table, record player, games, and hot tub. We even grilled out on the patio. We had a little trouble logging onto the Internet when we first got there and called the help number. We spoke to someone and got help right away without any issue . Super cute quiet neighborhood and so close to the Joshua Tree national park! I highly recommend!

We stayed at this house for a couple of nights while we visited Joshua Tree National Park. The house is wonderful and we wished we would have stayed longer. We loved the style of the home and enjoyed all of the special touches. It was very close to the entrance of the park and it had all the amenities we needed. The hot tub was also a nice touch and we used it multiple times per day. Would book this house again!
