We enjoyed our stay! The view was beautiful. There were some bugs, dirty dishes, and a partially broken fridge (ice maker/water dispenser) upon arriving, but we hope to return in the future! Oh, the shower water pressure was amazing!

We loved the property at first. Very cute place, great view, jacuzzi tub and clean. Very small but the right size for 2 people. As soon as we went to bed, however, our opinion changed. The bed is very hard. We are over 65 but have traveled a LOT, and this is the worst bed we have ever "slept" in. My wife's hips hurt so bad from the bed she tried to sleep on the couch (that is more like loveseat) but it was to late. We both had a miserable night. My wife decided to take a hot bath in the jacuzzi to help the pain but could only get the water warm because there is not enough hot water to fill it for one bath. We had it booked for 2 nights but could not do that kind of night again. We weren't mad or anything, just figured it was us or our age. We messaged to let the owner know and requested a refund for the second night.She got back to us and offered another cabin but we told her we were afraid to have another night like that. She never replied about a refund. We let her know when we left and she did not respond. Later in the day we asked about a refund and she replied she was busy that day and would get back to us. Two days later we contacted her again and she responded hatefully. She said I threatened her with a bad review and no way she would give a refund. She said customers would be able to see our correspondence but went back and changed her messages to us after my message that she was unprofessional. Beware renters, this is not a kind person or one with integrity

We had a wonderful stay!

No wonder this place gets 5 stars! Obviously an amazing view but everything else was great! The entire property is very quiet and feels private and the house was clean and set up to relax but we easily spent most of our time outside for the views! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful and amazing as always. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. The views from the huge balcony were priceless. Deb and Justin are amazing hosts.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. It was just as it appears in the photos. Very quiet and beautiful view off the covered porch of the lake. The lake is huge and has a lot to offer. We look forward to coming back soon. The restaurants in Eufala were good. We had Mama Tigs pizza and Captain John’s

Loved the sunsets!!! Rental looked exactly like the pictures. Took advantage of the boat rental and really enjoyed ourselves.

Just had a wonderful stay at this lake house! The views were beautiful from the big deck, and it was very private. Could watch the sunrise to the left and the sunset to the right. The stars at night we’re glorious! The place is very up-to-date and clean, and every attention to detail has been attended to. the communication with Deb was wonderful. They also have a boat that you can rent and while originally reserving the boat for Saturday the weather was not great and they were very easy to work with to schedule for the following day. We definitely stay there again!

It was a very lovely stay and nice property

These owners not only care but really know what they are doing. The cabin is super clean and very well appointed and equipt with everything one might need while away from home. We especially appretiated salt, spices and ice. Also, good quality pillows, sheets and towels. Seating outside on the balcony with great lake view was truly precious. Communication was very timely and helpful. The only thing I'd want to improve is A/C, it worked great but loud inside and out on the poarch. Overall it was best VRBO experience. Thank you for your hard work, investments and attention to details!

Quite, peaceful, awesome view.

It was a cute cabin with a great view of the lake. We ate our meals out on the front deck. We loved the trails around the property. Our dog especially loved them. She loved sniffing every inch we walked. We would book again.

My husband and I booked this location solely based on the beautiful views, and it definitely delivered in that regard. We spent most of our time in the patio overlooking the lake! The manager provided clear communication and was quick to respond. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Pros: -Beautiful views -Home was clean and well kept -Gated location (gated for cars not walkers) -Binder of information included wifi info, safety info, etc -Trail was rugged and fun -Manager provided extra trash bags, toilet paper, towels, dish soap, fan. Cons: -The bed was stiff as a board and the bed frame was very squeaky and loud even at the slightest move -No smart TVs in the house or ability to cast (we brought our own Chromecast knowing that, but couldn't connect it because the wifi was a "guest" wifi and Google doesn't allow that) -Path is a one way only, so it gets a little tricky with one car coming in and one going out. Also, if you are coming back home in the evening, it is extremely dark. No lights to light up the pathway. -Grill was very dirty, but we foiled it and cooked on top of the foil. Also, some of the cooking utensils could be replaced!

The cabin was really great. Very clean and modern. Great lake view. Comfortable bed. Thoroughly, enjoyed the visit. Deb was great.

Our stay was extremely relaxing and the views were amazing especially during the sunset on the deck. We had some questions before and during our stay and the owners responded quick and friendly. If you are looking for peaceful and relaxing getaway, we highly recommend this property!

Cozy romantic cabin with great view of the lake on the outside deck & everything we needed on the inside. Private area with three other cabins had gated entry for security. Good communication & info from owner.

I cannot say enough great things about this hidden gem! We would love to come back and stay. Deb thought of everything when it came to staying in a VRBO she made everything so easy.

Perfect house in a perfect location. Will certainly keep this in mind for a future trip that hopefully will be a longer stretch of time. Gorgeous view of the lake. Enjoyed the privacy and seclusion. That said,essentials such as gas and grocery were quite close.

Great view. Relaxing. Quiet.

The property is gated for a more secure stay which we loved. Access to and from was extremely easy. Deb is very responsive with all questions asked and an excellent host. Definitely will be booking there again. Highly recommend it.

The view will spoil you. The House was very clean, organized and everything you might need was there or in the building. It was quiet even with the houses on both sides occupied. Looking forward to next visit.

Wonderful cabin! It is just as advertised. The view of the lake was very nice. I would recommend this cabin for those that may prefer a more intimate environment.

This is my husband and my second time completing a quick winter stay at Calico Heights. This was our first time staying in this unit, and it was very cute, clean, and stocked enough to provide what we needed for two nights away! We left a few items behind and the owner was quick to respond and helpful and assisting with shipping the items back to us!
