The Low Country Cottage was the perfect place for our stay, we loved it! Clean, comfy, nicely updated. Great central location for seeing all things Charleston, easy to get around. Nice quiet neighborhood, and an awesome host.

My father and I visited South Carolina for the first time. The cottage was perfect for us. Easy access to all our destinations and lovely, clean space.

We loved this rental! The minute you unlock the front door with the digital lock programmed to your own phone number and see the inside, you discover a clean, beautiful cottage. Not only does it look lovely, but it's extremely user-friendly. The kitchen is the best equipped I've ever experienced in a vacation rental, down to a lemon squeezer, Nespresso machine with pods, and a regular coffee pot. There's also a spice carousel, high speed blender and whistling tea kettle. There are two bedrooms with comfy beds, closet and drawer space, It has excellent heating and cooling plus washer and dryer. It's located minutes from downtown and from Folly Beach. The host even provides beach chairs, a beach umbrella, plenty of beach towels, a rolling cooler and a waterproof bluetooth speaker. The only "imperfections" are that there's no dishwasher and the refrigerator is very small (but quite large enough for the two of us). Did I mention there's a backyard with a grill, table and chairs? Also pamphlets about local attractions, a big book full of information and even an app with the same info. The Roku is set up so you sign in on your own streaming services, input your checkout date and your login info is automatically removed on that date. Slick eh? Furthermore, the host couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating! He was very responsive about questions and provided a couple of things we requested promptly. If I could have given it more than 5 stars, I would have!

Loved this quiet out of the way cottage with an easy 15 minute access to all the major attractions in Charleston. Patrick was a great host who was always available when we needed help. We totally enjoyed our stay and would rent again!

Lovely, clean home. Well stocked. Owner responded quickly to every request and made our stay a wonderful experience. Very quiet and the beds are very comfy. Home is located to all Charleston has to offer. Folly Beach is a quick drive along with another quick drive to downtown historic Charleston. On our next trip down, we will certainly be staying at Patrick's VRBO again.

I stayed here with my wife and toddler while attending my college reunion. Throughout the booking and check-in process, the host was highly communicative with information and answers to any questions I had. When we arrived, we appreciated that it was only a few minutes from stores and restaurants, but tucked out of view from the road for a little privacy. Very clean and neat, and not too many things I needed to worry about my 14 month old son grabbing. The little patio and backyard area provided a nice venue to sit and relax outside. Bedrooms and bathroom were all spotless and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was perfect for a long girls weekend. We walked to breakfast at the Smokey Yolk, recommended by Patrick, and it was delicious. The house provided everything we needed and the location was central to whichever part of Charleston you wanted to visit.

My wife and I decided to come to Charleston to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and the Low Country Cottage was just what we needed. Quaint and nicely appointed…the location was great (only minutes from downtown) and Patrick was an excellent host! Would highly recommend the Low Country Cottage if you’re ever in Charleston!

This was our Wedding Anniversary/Vacation trip. This little place was the perfect size. Two bedroom, one place with plenty of space in every room! It’s in a very quiet neighborhood right outside of every place you would want to go. Which means a lot after being at the beaches or attractions all day, it was nice to come back to quiet place to just relax. It was very clean, with comfortable beds, nice linens and everything you need for your stay. Patrick was extremely attentive from the beginning of booking til the day we left. We will not hesitate to recommend this place to friends & family and will definitely be coming back!

Patrick and his family were amazing hosts. The place was very clean and had everything you needed. It's located in a safe, quiet area. Patrick was quick to answer any questions we had. He even offered to stock the fridge with certain items prior to our arrival (for a small fee). Whenever we make it back to Charleston, we will be sure to try and stay here again. Such a great experience.

My family stayed here for 4 nights in June. The cottage was exactly like the description stated and a perfect, cozy retreat for our family. Patrick was very responsive to any questions we had and our overall experience was great. We'd definitely recommend this property.

House was 15-20 minutes from Historic Charleston in a quiet neighborhood with dotting hosts. I cook, so was really impressed with such a stocked big kitchen. Spent evenings in secluded patio. Very, very comfortable stay.

I must say, I don't think I've ever stayed at a property with this level amenities! First of all, the Lowcountry Cottage is exactly as advertised in the pictures. Extremely clean and well put-together. Lovely decorated without being too cluttered or kitschy. Comfortable furniture. But what was really impressive was how well-stocked and well-prepared this place is for guests. First of all, Patrick provides you with an app you can download to your phone that provides easy access to all the amenities house rules, check-out procedures, restaurant recommendations, etc. You also get to pick a custom code for the front door, so you don't have to worry about keeping up with a key while you're there. The house comes with everything you need and then some, which is particularly great when you're flying in. You can even pay extra to have the house pre-stocked with a requested grocery list. Patrick was very communicative, and regularly checked in with me, so it was great knowing he'd be responsive if we ran into any issues. Also, important to know that it's a pretty central location if you're looking to explore the beach areas as well downtown or North Charleston. We rented an SUV for Thurs-Sun and used less than a quarter tank of gas while we were there. It was just my mom, my aunt, and me, so I'd say it's the perfect spot for a group of 4 or less, not the place for parties since it's a quiet neighborhood and very close to neighbors. I will definitely keep this place on my list for future visits to Charleston!

Location was convenient to downtown and the beach. Parking can be tricky especially when dark. Cottage was as expected. Beds and furniture was comfortable. No live TV i e. no sports. Overall a good affordable place to stay.

Very Nice Cozy Home. Would suggest a screened in area in the back yard or side so that guests can sit without being disturbed by mosquitos and bugs.

Patrick’s place was great! The home was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and more!
