I wanted to give some more details based on my recent experience that might be useful for others looking at this property. Pros: 1) Obviously beautiful location 2) rooms/beds as described. Comfortable mattresses 3) clean 4) charming, with a beach hippie vibe 5) well stocked kitchen and bathrooms (I brought my own kitchen knives since we are somewhat local) 6) fast responses from owner 7) Tesla charger Cons: 1) the house is not super tightly sealed from the exterior so there are “visitors” from the outside that got in. It’s just part and parcel of the beach shack vibe although sealing holes and gaps and installing window screens would solve this. 2) the exterior furniture is quite weathered and some of it needs to be replaced. We did not spend as much time outside as we would have liked to. 3) the dishwasher does not wash well; we ended up just washing things by hand. While the outdoor grill fired up, the ignition had to be done manually and it wasn’t really as clean as I like to keep my grill. 4) none of the tv remotes worked or didn’t have functioning batteries. We ended up bringing batteries of our own and then took them back home with us. Obviously not a huge deal, but somewhat annoying. 5) queries before check out, which is a slightly busy time to begin with, that included requests to start a load of laundry before we departed and asking if we were going to check out early. Not a huge deal, but yet another thing to add to my list as we organized our departure.

This property was a wonderful oasis for our extended family to enjoy indoor and outdoor time together.

We had difficulty using the key code. We were in touch months in advance hoping for early check in. Waited to hear all afternoon about the status of our check in time. We were never contacted and we waited all afternoon to hear. Time was important- we had our son’s wedding. Upstairs bathroom was not clean. Stains on toilet seat.

This was a fantastic house and great property. Farm is cool. Views are great! Will stay again.

My husband and I rented this house for a portion of our honeymoon. The views are unbelievable and the property is beautiful, however communication with the owners isn’t great. At one point on our trip we were playing music on the house speakers very quietly at noon on a Tuesday and we received texts from the owner threatening to charge us extra if we didn’t turn it off. We were also expecting there to be an outdoor TV screen based on the photos of the property, but there wasn’t. When we checked in at 4pm, the cleaners were still working until around 6pm so we just had to sit around awkwardly until they left (not really how you want to kick off your honeymoon). None of these things are huge deals, just kind of annoying when you’re paying over a thousand dollars a night. All in all I wouldn’t rent this property again, however it was beautiful

The property was beautiful but on our first full day there we smelled something awful for a few hours and when we realized it was coming from under the couch, we found 2 decomposing mice on sticky traps. That night we also saw a mouse running across the kitchen floor. My friend also found a cricket in her pillow. We alerted the property managers and were told how strange that was and that we were probably leaving doors open. We weren’t. After insisting, pest control came the next day to put out more traps (hope they check them moving forward) and spray around the perimeter of the house to avoid insects coming in. After this we no longer found insects inside but the mouse running across the floor while we were watching TV was a nightly occurrence. A lot more needs to be done to control these kind of vermin inside the house. We have enjoyed the house during our stay. I hope there is better coordination with pest control in the future. For now, we want to believe the cleaning crew did a very thorough job before we got here, but it is difficult to believe that they did not smell the dead mice. They need to be more careful in the future, and perhaps not clean just the surfaces. Some of us also live, or have lived, in rural areas, and understand critters happen, but it is also expected that when we pay as much as we did for a place of this caliber, that we would expect not to find dead or live mice inside the house. only received $200 back for all these problems so buyer beware

Great view and grounds. A little smaller than the photo impressions but overall, great experience. House numbers are not on the house so it was hard to know if I was at the correct house. There are only 3 house options on that road so know that you are the right road. Just find the house that looks similar to the photos. Keep in mind, you are pulling into the driveway and it looks a bit different.

This is the second time I have rented this property and we love it. The view is to die for- once you walk in you are immediately blown away by the amazing view in front of you. The outside living spaces make this hope truly special. The outside kitchen is a dream- and has the cutest outside bar!!!! Can’t wait to rent it again.
