House was wonderful! Jon was wonderful to communicate with. The house is huge. Quiet area. We were able to fish off the pier at night and at the beach during the day. Will for sure return next summer if not before.

Property was very cozy especially since the temps were close to 100 degrees.. fishing from the pier turned out better than i expected caught several fish.. will be back!!!

Stayed for a week and family loved the house. The house has everything for your stay. The fishing wasn’t too great due to low tide but the kids still had a good time.

The house has a dock so fishing is easy. The beach is just a few block walk or fast drive. House has a nice set up and comfortable. Two decks makes it great for viewing and enjoying the nice sunset over the water. New outdoor seating would be nice.

This is a beautiful home! The fishing was great off the dock, and we also caught lots of crabs in our traps. The beach is just a short way from the home. Great sunsets over the bay.

Wonderful house- looking out at the bay, watching the tugs move all day. Beach located just across the street. Had an issue with the internet- NOT a problem with the house- area wide tower. Host responded promptly, checked into it, kept us updated, and made sure everything was ok when area wide service was restored . Thank you for all your help- and recommendations on what to do!

We enjoyed our stay. This was our 2nd time renting this house and we hope to rent again next yr. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Jonathan, the owner, was very pleasant to work with., very prompt responding. We enjoyed our stay, the house is very roomy and the beds comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Tide was low so we didn't catch many fish, but the fishing lights were good and we enjoyed the pier. Nice home and good VRBO rental experience.

This was a cozy place with bay fishing off dock and a quick access to the ocean side for surf fishing.

The cabin was set up nice with plenty of room. We loved being a little more secluded and away from the touristy areas.

We loved our stay at this property. The kids had a blast getting in the hot tub and we were pretty successful with fishing off the pier. We caught the biggest fish I've ever seen in my life which was pretty exciting. The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had and answered any/all questions.

The house was very accommodating and we enjoyed the area. Loved the spa tub and used it everyday. Being an older couple a lift would have been a great help but we knew when we rented it did not have a lift.

Our extended family decided to have a Memorial-type service for my parents and needed a gathering place. The home was the perfect place to host it. While my family stayed in the home, we had people staying in hotels, people traveling not far from home and then utilizing nearby RV parks. It was the perfect location! Jonathan was wonderful at addressing any issues (which were only very minor ones). We absolutely plan on staying again.

Jonathan was a great host, quick to respond to all my questions before booking and let us add-on an extra day to our stay! He was very accommodating and helpful. House was clean and had everything we needed! Hot tub was a bit sandy, but Jonathan had someone out cleaning it right away. Fishing wasn’t great the first few nights but the 3rd & 4th night we had better luck! The area was Quiet and peaceful. The beach was close and never crowded. Be careful entering the bay on foot. We enjoyed kayaking right out of the backyard, but there were dangerous objects in the water that you could seriously cut yourself on. All in all we had a great week long vacation.

Great spot for crabbing the weekend we went but no luck with fishing. The tide was low unfortunately. House was spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't see bbq essentials to cook with for the grill outside. There were a lot of mosquitos, we unclogged the drain that was hoarding the mosquitos downstairs under the house so it got rid of most but be sure to bring bug spray if you hang out on the first floor. Good stay to spend time with the family.

The location was perfect if you’re looking to get away from the tourist areas. Beautiful views and very comfortable home!

Everything was wonderful. House had everything needed and the fishing dock was super nice. Owner is fast to respond and went over and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable.

We stayed here for a birding trip to High Island. We were two couples. The location was very convenient and the home was as advertised and very pleasant. We would definitely book here again.

First things first the property is imaculate inside so classy nice clean roomy is everything you want in a rental , beds are soft ac cold tvs awsome outside is gorgeaous too its on bay side so awsome at night the fishing pier is good for crabing we didnt get too lucky with fish but did catch some crabs , hot tub is awsome ! Beautiful place downt stair under house is huge clean perfect, only issues which were no big deal breakers was it is a high house so you have some stairs to.climb and maby some outlets didnt work but we maneged and since its on bay side the tide does go out and not too much water to fish during day but overall its a superb house clean and so modern inside felt like we were living it up ! Heck i was amazing by the toilet in master bed room it had its own lil hallway lol it was impresive house definitly will try to rent again , the owners are very nice and assited when called great value to rent .

We loved this property to stay with our friends and children. Was a great location! Our children ages 4 and under loved all the toys that were available to play with. Jonathan was so helpful!

It was nice to be right in the bay since we enjoy kayaking and the beach was literally right across the street. The kids were able to walk there. The jacuzzi was perfect for how tired our legs got since we weren’t used to all the stairs that every beach cabin has lol we are hoping to rent the same place next summer because it literally could not have been more perfect for us!

Fishing was great,house was super clean,home owners are great and respond quick

We had such a great time at this beautiful home. We have 3 teenagers who only used their phones to take pictures, and even waited until the drive home to post them to social media!! They had so much fun, catching blue crabs from the pier, and watching the birds. We drove over to the beach and picked up shells and did some more fishing. Great communication with the property manager, who had even left us a welcome gift of a smores basket for the kids. :) If you are going to be in the area, definitely look into this house.

It's easy access to the bay with the private pier. Water is shallow up to the channel. Roughly 3' of water. Great for crabbing or top water fishing. Beach is in walking distance. Very clean. Only draw back would be the small heater that accommodates 3-4 showers back to back but that isn't a big deal. I don't think the wine frig works but not a big deal. Food market and restaurants is 10 mins drive. Restaurants are marked up 50% but the market isn't.
