My extended family and I absolutely loved staying here. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The beach was only a short walk away which was great and convenient. This was our first visit to Isle and Palms and we fell in love and will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our stay! The kitchen is huge and well equipped with cooking supplies. The screen porch is a great place to hang out when you are done swimming in the pool. It even has a 2 person sauna. We did opt to get the pool heated and were thrilled it was comfortable to use at the end of March/early April. The beach is a quick walk away and they even had a wagon we used to pull our towels and bags. Rita was very responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend this home for an extended family vacation!

We enjoyed our visit to Island Retreat on the Isle of Palms. The home was the perfect size for our extended family. The pool was awesome to cool off in the summer heat. The host was great to work with & very responsive with our questions.

Had a wonderful getaway for a 4 generation family vacation. The elevator for access to the main level was a great tool. The pool had plenty of seating and toys to use. The house was well equipped for large family meals and plenty of room to sit and relax. There was plenty of room for 5 cars and a golf cart with room to spare. The beach was 2 blocks away so it was walkable or you could use street parking next to beach. It was convenient to have grocery and seafood market close by, especially when using golf cart. Would recommend this property for large families. P.S. The host was very quick to answer and respond to any questions.

This house was absolutely wonderful! It is just as beautiful as the pictures. Our family couldn’t get enough of the pool and the great location to the beach. You can easily walk, ride a bike, or take a golf cart to the beach. We rented a golf cart, which is helpful if you have smaller kids and items to bring to the beach. We had two dogs that had plenty of room to run around in the backyard. The house is in a great location near Harris Teeter and the restaurants in town. Even in the hot weather we could easily walk along the beach to all the restaurants. We wish there was a first floor bathroom, but we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor shower near the pool.

The house was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The elevator was incredibly helpful to have for my father-in-law, who has knee problems. Short walk to the beach, grocery store was a short drive from the house, and the house was just gorgeous, inside and out! The backyard was like an oasis! It had a nice-sized pool and there were plenty of backyard activities that we used, like corn hole and badminton. Wonderful vacation overall!

My fiancé and I had a wedding on the beach and rented this house and another for each side of the family. This house was a perfect location, clean, had everything we needed. The pool was perfect after long days on the beach. There was a minor issue with the kitchen sink and master bedroom door. The property manager and plumber arrived promptly to fix everything. We have never had a renter be so attentive!

The property is beautiful and well kept. Rita is an awesome property owner and answered all our questions. The house was very clean and had everything you could ask for. I would definitely stay again.

The property manager, Rita, was super responsive and helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook meals, the beds were comfortable and the location was within walking distance to the grocery store and beach. We used Whole Foods/Amazon delivery, which was convenient as well. Toilet paper is only stocked for the first few days, so make sure to order that and laundry detergent. Property could use painting and spraying for wasps and bees, but overall great stay.

This house is in a great location-close to the beach and IOP restaurants. The house has a lot of room for multiple generations along with a wonderful backyard and large deck. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and we were very happy with our stay. We look forward to returning again!

Even though it was a very cold Christmas, we had a wonderful time at this home. There was plenty of space of us to spread out, the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the short walk to the beach was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home !

This house is amazing and perfect location for a summer beach vacation. My family and I stayed a week to celebrate a birthday. This house is well appointed, with everything we needed for the week. The beach wagon was a life saver as was the elevator for my two disabled family members. Spent a lot of time in the sunroom - perfect for morning coffee. Dogs loved the yard and neighbors were very friendly. The beach is only a couple of blocks away - with restaurants and stores close as well. We are already looking into booking for next year. Thank you for opening your home to our family.

This home was the perfect oasis for our family gathering! My husband and I hosted our grown children and their spouses at this lovely and spacious home July 16-23. The home well-cared for and had all the amenities we needed from the well-stocked and spacious kitchen to the outdoor grill. The beach cart and chairs were a bonus, as were the extra beach towels which we used for around the lovely saltwater pool. The backyard was the perfect setting for a competitive game of King’s Game and the hot tub was so relaxing! The screened-in porch off the kitchen was a favorite area for morning coffees and evening conversations. All five bedrooms were spacious and private with the upstairs bedrooms sharing another flex space with a reclining sofa, TV, games and books. It was nice to have a dining room where all 11 of us could gather around for our evening meals. A 5-minute walk to the beach! Our children came from Indiana, Colorado, Florida and Denmark. This home was perfect for us! We will definitely be returning to this property!

We enjoyed our stay. Mostly everything is even nicer than the pics. AC was excellent. Some questions I wanted to know before renting: House is about 2 blocks to the beach access on 23rd. Golf cart and beach chair/umbrella rental made it super convenient for kids and elderlies to enjoy the beach, which was so lovely and uncrowded. You can drive the golf cart more than half-way up the path to the beach; there were a few spots in the grass to park the cart and we never had an issue. There is a large grocery store 1/2 mile from the house, which you can get to via golf cart. The elevator is very convenient but was a little tricky to use for my elderly dad who needed it the most (nothing the owners can do - just FYI). Also fyi there is no toilet on the pool/ground level (necessitating frequent use of elevator by elderly dad).

Good location, we’ll stocked kitchen and the elevator was a nice bonus. Our family enjoyed the beach, the shopping in mount pleasant, the restaurants on the island and ending our day in the pool. Would definitely stay again!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay. The home was gorgeous and provided all of the necessary items you’d need for cooking and playing. We appreciated the beach towels, wagon, chairs, toys, etc. Our kids just loved the pool and spent many hours swimming. There was one day where the pool was not working as expected and Rita had the pool company over within an hour or two. Our only complaints were the dryer was very, very squeaky (horrible nails on a chalkboard sound) and we couldn’t get cold water. So unbelievably minor and hardly affected our stay at all. We will be back!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our kids, their spouses, and our grandchildren. The house was spacious and comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed the backyard pool and the screened in porch. Our location was convenient to the beach and an easy walk; a beach wagon was provided to load our gear. The hostess, Rita, was wonderful and very accommodating. Also, if you wanted to explore Charleston, it was an easy drive. I recommend this house as a nice place to stay.

We had an absolute blast at Isle of Palms! Rita was always there to answer any questions & the amenities were FANTASTIC!! We specifically enjoyed the pool & our favorite hangout was the screened in porch w/a tv. The neighbors were just the sweetest & our dog & theirs got along great!! Definitely an A+ VRBO!!!

We had a great week at this house. It’s lovely and welcoming. The appliances are so nice, the best I’ve ever used in a vacation rental. The back yard is wonderful! Our kids never wanted to get out of the pool, and the fenced in yard was great. The neighborhood is very quiet and seems to be a mix of residents and rentals. It’s close enough to the beach. If you have really young children or plan to bring a lot of stuff, you would want a golf cart. There were a lot of homes under construction or renovation, but it wasn’t noisy, just a lot of activity on the walk to the beach. Our only real complaints are the king beds were not comfortable, and each bed could use an extra blanket, especially when it’s not the heat of summer. Overall, the house was so nice, and our first trip to Isle of Palms will definitely not be our last.

We had a wonderful stay at Ann Marie's beautiful home. Both she and Rita were incredibly responsive to all of our questions and were so welcoming. The fenced in yard was a dream for our pup. Well stocked with beach supplies and good pantry basics. The heated pool was amazing - it was hard to get my daughter out! Just be sure to arrange heating the pool ahead of time (I missed that detail - totally my mistake - but Ann Marie worked with us to get it heated for our stay). The house is two blocks from the beach and 10-15 min walk to IOP restaurants and grocery store. Sullivan's Island is super close as well and wonderful eateries - we loved Longboard and Obstinate Daughter. Also 25 mins to downtown Charleston for more food adventures. We are already looking forward to booking again next year! If we could give 10 stars, we would.
