This property was amazing! The house is very well laid out, beautiful decor and clean! We tend to cook most dinners in, and the kitchen was so well equipped - even a crock pot and great blender. Pool was beautiful and so many fun water toys, fishing rods and more. The dock is awesome - we rented a boat for the week and it was perfect. Plenty of beach towels and house towels. Location was great, too. Jessica was super communicative when we asked a question. Thanks for a great vaca!

Love the floor plan of the house, we had it full one week and just two of us for an 2nd week and both worked well. The pool and dock were great, with afternoon sun. The lagoon is wide, with great views, and we had a manatee and pelicans visit at the dock.

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation in this home. The property manager was very communicative and easy to work with. We loved the pool and the kayaks - the location was also perfect. Very close to grocery stores, the beach and activities. We had some accidental damage and the property manager was straightforward with a resolution. We would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay at this property. Overall a great experience for the 8 of us. Fishing from the dock is fun and we caught a lot of fish. Ty e in house amenities are a nice plus ie beach chairs, umbrellas, ice machine and coolers. Great Sun on the pool most of the day and particularly in the afternoon after a day at the beach. We are looking forward to coming back.

This house was really nice. It was perfect for 2 families to share. The location was great. Close to everything and the canal was close to deep water. The pool was great as we had 3 kids with us ranging in ages from 9 to 6. We also loved the kayaks. The house was really clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The week was really hot and the AC worked great which is essential. The dock and canal was easy to maneuver and get our 25 ft boat in and out of. Jessica was super responsive. I highly recommend Jessica’s place.

Great home for a family with two master bedrooms. Extremely well furnished. Kayaks to use in the canal and lots of pool toys and outdoor seating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was well appointed. Had 4 bedrooms which were all coastal decorated and good sized living dining kitchen open concept. Plenty of room for the 10 of us. Plenty of parking space for cars and boat trailer. The patio and terrace upstairs were awesome with beautiful views of pool and canal. Location was perfect with a large dock for our boat and pool for the kids and sombrero beach just down the street. The sunsets were beautiful from the backyard patios! Jessica was an amazing host and responded to any requests we had. We did ask to have the pool chilled and it was a good call as it was a very hot week and the pool remained very refreshing. Would definitely stay here again!

My 2 daughters, 2 grandsons and I were coming out to Florida from California to visit my sister-in-law and we all stayed in the house for a week. It was a wonderful week and my sister-in-law was so happy to have a 'free' vacation ! The house was the perfect size for our group and we spent much of the time in the pool ! My daughters also went kayaking which they really enjoyed. Thanks again !

We really enjoyed staying at this home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, really close to restaurants and stores. It was really well stocked with everything you might need on vacation. The home is extremely spacious and beautiful. The boys really enjoyed fishing right off the dock as well. The property manager was quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

House was perfect. Jessica was very responsive and helpful. Beds were VERY comfortable. Would recommend adding the pool temperature control for summer months to cool it down. We added and it made the pool incredibly refreshing after a day on the water. Amenities well thought out and had everything you could need.

Everything was very nice and comfortable. Clean and AC worked great! Pool was wonderful. Ice machine doesn’t make enough ice for fishing and the only thing I did like was when walking across the house the floor made a lot of noise because it’s on stilts and it’s wood house. Other than that everything was great.

Everything about this property was exactly as advertised. It is in a perfect location. We had a boat with us and the canal front location was absolutely wonderful. With the pool in the backyard this was our private oasis. I would recommend this property to all. Just a perfect place to stay and relax.

10 of us (6 adults and 4 kids under 6) spent a week at this property and it was amazing! The property was just as advertised and easily accommodated our group of 10. The pool area was great and there were plenty of lounging chairs in the sun and the covered patio was great when you need a break from the heat (it was also March Madness so we would eat lunch and watch the games on the tv on the patio). Jessica was phenomenal and super responsive. The pool was a little chilly the first day we got there and Jessica had someone out at the house within an hour. The house had kayaks which were fun to take out in the canal and there were life jackets, pool floats and all sorts of fishing gear. The property is located on a quiet street and just an easy mile walk to Sombrero Beach (with a very nice walking path all the way there). Would highly recommend this property for groups of all ages and we will definitely be back!

You never know what you're going to get in person when you book online. This VRBO exceeded our expectations. This is the best we've stayed at. The views from the living room and front bedroom is incredible and a treat to wake up to each morning. The house was immaculate in cleanliness, beds are comfortable and kitchen is stocked with all the necessary pans, serveware, cooking and eating utensils. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels, beach/pool towels. Ice maker was a HUGE plus. Beach chairs and umbrellas available were in brand new condition and super convenient. We rented a pontoon boat fro the week which we kept docked at the house. We highly recommend doing this! Also rented paddle boards which were easy to put in the water from the dock and paddle safely around in the area was amazing. Host was super responsive to anything we needed and easily accessible. We can't say enough about our week here and we've all agreed if we return to Marathon, we will absolutely rent here again. Thank you to the owners for making it super special for your guests. All the little details were very much appreciated!!

Great house!! Best equipped house we have stayed in. Plenty of cleaning supplies and kitchenware! Chairs and umbrellas available for the beach were a wonderful amenity. Private yard. Amazing back yard. Sun all day particularly in the afternoon after getting back from the beach. Ice maker was put to good use. Caught a lot of fish off the dock and bait bucket was available for use. Saved at least a couple hundred dollars with how well the house was stocked. Great house in Marathon and definitely would stay here again.

We loved this house, it is absolutely perfect!

First, Jessica is amazing. Response time to questions was minutes. Location is great, on a canal with private dock. House is in perfect condition with all amenities. Great kitchen with every appliance and tool for gourmet cooking. Pool is perfect. Outdoor fridge and ice machine are icing on the cake. Couldn’t be any more pleased.

This house was awesome! Beautifully decorated and well stocked. The location could not have been better for our needs. Lots of space for our group of 10 to spread out. The 4th bedroom with the bunk beds and double bed was perfect. The outside space was so nice. The pool was just right and the dock was an added bonus for fishing with a cleaning station. The kayaks provided were a plus and the water access from the dock helped with using the paddle boards we brought. Of course, the guys loved the ice maker on the pool deck and the mini-fridge too. Any fisherman would love the outside freezer. The owners were prompt in responding to any questions and the house showed their attention to details that a renter would want. All in all, this house provided more than we expected and we would definitely rent it again.

We so enjoyed our week at Sombrero Sunset! We were a family of 7 ranging from 12-52. We had plenty of space to spread out. The TV’s in each room was a very nice touch. We loved the location being center to the different Keys. We did a day trip to Key West and went to dinner at the No Name Pub in Deer Key and say the tiny Keys Deer. We snorkeled with Captain Pips Spirit Snorkeling. Highly recommend them. The kayaks, pool noodles, beach chairs and pool towels were great. The house was very well stocked with appliances. We rented a pontoon for three days and was so nice to drive right up to the dock to disembark with all of our gear. We definitely will rent again on our next visit back to The Keys!

Perfect spot in Marathon! The house is immaculate, gorgeously decorated, and has everything you possibly need while you are there. The location was great to be able to swim in the pool, kayak the canals, is close to Sombrero beach, and tons of restaurants. We hope to come back in the future!
