It’s hard to believe that the pictures don’t do this hime justice, but the reality is even better! In addition to the beautiful setting, every possible convenience is included. Sheree, the owner, responded immediately to every correspondence, none of which were complaints. Our family of 10 couldn’t have been more comfortable, and the home alone could have been the location of the entire vacation. Then, there’s Smith Mountain Lake! It doesn’t get any better than that!

We had four generations staying at Easy Street for our first family vacation in a very long time. We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The beach was perfect for our almost two year old grand daughter. We enjoyed fires at night at the beach making smores. The upper deck was wonderful for my 72 year old mother to enjoy day and night and the young adults enjoyed laying in the sun. We enjoyed swimming from the dock, using the paddle boards, kayaking and even rented a boat for the week. The beds were all comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and showers very nice. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and more. The property owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. The exterior of the property could use a little updating but was still very nice. We would definatly consider staying here again!

We had such a good time at this treasure of a house. So close to the water, with such beautiful views! Our kids loved using the provided kayaks and paddle boards and the small cove provided a perfect place out of the way of the power boats on the lake. Plenty of space for our two family group to spread out. The renovations are gorgeous and although the layout was unconventional, the kids loved having their own space upstairs! The house seems to be the envy of all that pass by on their boats! We often saw people pointing over and commenting on what a great property it is! Very few houses on SML have a beach and this one is perfect!

Having previously stayed at this house beofre, we were absolutely amazed by the 5 star renovations. We adore this house and it's location. A truly amazing way to spend a week!

This was our first time staying on Easy Street and we couldn’t have asked for more! The newly renovated home is well appointed and allowed our group of 12 ample gathering spaces with spectacular views of the lake. We appreciated prompt communications with Sheree both before, during, and after our stay! Wonderful and memorable experience.

This Property has just been completely Redone. It was done with the utmost care and Consideration. By the owners. The Appliances and Furnishings are Top Shelf. It is a pleasure to enjoy for those that wish to seek out that special mist-eek of SML. Our family of 10 enjoyed every minute we spent in this wonderful home. (It Rained for 4 days solid, and the house made it a wonderful experience) The owners are responsive caring people whose goal is to make your stay the best available. We were fortunate to be the first visitors to stay in this newly renovated property which is wonderfully appointed. The property itself is spectacular with a wonderful deck that overlooks the lake and it's large enough to accommodate many people comfortably. The large living spaces are open and welcoming with many amenities including a wine refrigerator ice maker and two dishwashers which makes a big difference when accommodating many people. There is a small beach area with a wonderful fire pit which we used most nights which truly that truly makes this property different from many others on the lake. We had a wonderful vacation, and we plan on returning next year.

Location of home beautiful, home is very spacious. Owner was very accommodating and answered questions as needed. We hope to stay there again next year.

Really enjoyed this house. It’s a huge bonus to have flat access from house to upper dock. House was well equipped indoor outdoor games and everything wee needed. Hostess was always available, helpful and cooperative. House has great outdoor space and a very private cove!

Perfect location, spacious and well-equipped home, comfy beds, and fabulous views. The kids and adults enjoyed the paddle boards, knacks, and private beach while the old folks enjoyed the porches and deck overlooking the lake. Our son brought his boat so we got to enjoy the lake as well. Keep your eye out for the weasels at play. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family, we couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

The sunroom is the beautiful hub of the house. The bathing beach was perfect for young swimmers and boat launching. A few repairs/updates are needed.

Loved the location, the little cove gives you privacy and great place to swim or float right by the dock. The dock was easy access and the 2 levels gives you great views over the lake. The hosts were very responsive and genuinely want to make sure you have a great time.

This property needs updates. Dock needs padding, my boat was damaged by just boards on dock. Carpets were stained. Deck is level with lower level of house and there are steps to get on main level inside home. Parking at house was hard. Microwave is to low on stove. Lawn care is needed more often. Landscaping needs to be done. Deck boards need replaced, several family members had splinters in hands. House was well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was very nice and easy to talk with about anything needed at the house.

We have stayed at this house before and love it there. It is located on its own private cove and has a sandy beach for the little ones. Everyone enjoys the pier from playing games, to sunning, to watching the grandchildren skiing and tubing to fishing. New this year are paddleboards and kayaks which everyone tried. The sunroom has a spectacular view of the lake. There is an extra refrigerator - a necessity for large family gatherings. There is even a table that is great for playing games or working puzzles. We hope to go back again next year.

The property is very well located, (Right on the water.) and the morning & evening sun views are gorgeous. The house is designed to offer private areas, However there are also gathering rooms that are inviting for 10 to 12. The outside double level deck is accessible without steps. We are a family of 10 and there was an abundance of room for all of us. The host are sincere and honest people, who’s desire is to have you experience a First Class stay at their lovely home. This is a Top-notch Lake home well worth you consideration and enjoyment.

This is our second time here, the first being 18 (!) years ago. The property has been very well maintained and upgraded in that time. It was ideal for our family reunion - we had two households on Easy Street and congregated here for most dinners and afternoon play. The deck is ideal for hosting large groups and the location on the lake is spectacular. Less than 10 minutes (5 by boat) to groceries, restaurants and assorted stores. Good view from most rooms. Lots of smaller gathering spaces indoors and out. Large property - lots of Adirondack chairs; leave your camp chairs at home. Kitchen was well furnished. Owner was very helpful and responsive. We'll be back!

The location of the property was amazing for our family! No serious slope or tremendous amount of steps for our little ones to have to navigate to the dock. We loved the layout of the deck and the little beach. Getting the kayaks down to the dock and back to the trailer was easy. The house was really cool, like stepping back into 1980 something. There was plenty of space and it was equipped with what we needed. It could use a few minor fixes and maybe some fresh paint, carpet and newer mattresses and bedding but we are all talking about renting this house again in the future.

Plenty of room for everybody! Cove was great for floating. Porch had great rocking chairs. Very quiet neighborhood. Beautiful scenery at this lake.

The location is hard to beat for access by boat to the main part of the lake. It can be a little busy on the weekends. We enjoyed our stay overall. The home is dated, but served all our needs. The owner was very responsive.

Loved the house and various rooms sun room provides fantastic views of the lake, maybe 220 degree view. Short walk to the deck is also very nice. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time on Easy St. There were three families and we all fit in. The upper deck was amazing-if you are not prone to seasickness as I am. We enjoyed the beach. The cleaning crew was less than stellar - we found some clothing left behind from another visitor previous to our stay. Overall, our stay was great and Carolyn was in direct contact.

This property is all about location and privacy. We were so close to the marina where all the shops and restaurants are via boat. Unlike many SML properties, there are not steep stairs to the house. Very accessible. The kids room is a gem. Large and spacious, our kids loved the imagination of the room. The house is spread out, however the bedrooms are functional for a large group. Beautiful views on all directions. With all of that said, our favorite part of the property was the large, very private, safe swimming cove. There is a small private beach and evening family swims were the best. We would definitely come back. FYI- the ice cream boat comes by around 11am most days! A must while at SML!

Clean, well equipped, large open house. The owner is easy to work with and friendly. You can’t beat the location and the views and the little kids loved the beach area.
