Once we got up the mountain roads and recovered, we were in awe of all the beauty. The view was absolutely incredible! The cabin was rustic but clean and attractive and provided everything we needed. The hot tub was great the first evening and the weather was lovely so we sat outside on the porch a lot. We shopped till we dropped and celebrated my birthday. We had such fun! Two easy suggestions would be: First, provide a large can of bug/mosquito spray and secondly, (and more important) get a comfy chair for the living area. There were 4 senior women and 3 places to sit in the evening. Without another comfy chair, we probably would not return. All in all, thank you for your home. It was a wonderful time for all! Sally

Clean cabin and beautiful views!

Entry to this cabin is rugged and perfectly secluded. The entire area has beautiful views and many natural wonders to enjoy! If you're looking for an escape, this is it! We loved exploring the immediate area of the cabin and the picturesque sunrises and sunsets. We had one difficulty with the fireplace and the owner was quick to resolve the issue. The interaction was super friendly and accommodating. We happily recommend this stay for anyone with 4-wheel drive!

Put your 2WD in low gear to make it up the drive. The effort is well worth it. We will be back...

Loved our weekend getaway at this great secluded house! Master bedroom windows looked out directly to spectacular Mountain views! The back deck and hot tub were amazing!

We had a restorative time at this property/ Easy access from property to hiking trails. Love the big windows in the bedroom to wake up to nature! close to area downtown and blue ride parkway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Apple Ridge. The views were incredible and it was extremely private yet a short drive to Blowing Rock. The owners were so easy to communicate with and the house was clean and just as described in the listing. We would love to come back soon!

Chris, as a host, does it right! The property is well appointed, everything works, clear labels and instructions for all amenities. Communication was amazing and included a pre-arrival call to give us detailed driving instructions due to the winter weather. Without those instructions we could have been in danger given the sections of ice on the road. All around great stay!
