My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the property. The owner was great to work with and provided a lot of helpful local information. One of the best stock condos I have ever rented. The pool was recently resurfaced and was great and very convenient. The location was close to beaches and restaurants although there is some hilly terrain (since you are in a crater) Loved all the vegetation and bird life. And no chickens in sight!

I have stayed twice before on Kauai. This was far and above the best home I have had there. I say home because I felt at home as soon as we walked in. It is in a small crater, don't worry it's extinct, as a result there is no sounds from the surrounding area. The area in lush and green, this helps reduce sounds from within the crater. There are NO chickens. The house itself is fully stocked with everything you need for keeping house, far beyond anywhere else I have stayed in all of Hawaii. The bed in the master bedroom is perfect. I can't think of anything negative to say about our experience there. I want to thank the owners for making this a perfect vacation.

We loved the convenient location of this condo. It was so close to the beach and local restaurants. It was comfortable for a family, with two floors. We had some issues with bugs, but the host responded promptly and had them out to spray as soon as they could come, given the holiday. It was nice to have boogie boards and beach chairs available, as we were traveling from far away! Laundry on-site was a plus.

It was a great stay in a nice crater-like cove with vegetation surrounding the unit. Felt exclusive. Very close to the beach. Price very reasonable for what was provided. We had a great time!

We had a great family reunion at the crater. We had 2 units and it worked out perfectly. We had ages 2 to 82 and everything in between. A quiet pool, to swim play and relax in, tennis, ping pong, poolside side bbq and a clean comfortable unit to relax in, and a very nice communicative host. Jean was great! I highly recommend staying here. The Crater is a one of a kind, very special resort and this is a very nice clean unit to stay in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was attentive to all of our questions. Great location and the swimming pool and tennis court were within a one minute walk from the condo.

Used this as our base for a week in island. Worked very well for our needs- my husband and I and our adult daughter and her boyfriend.
Walking distance to two great beaches. Perfect distances for our morning walks. Do know there is some hill work involved. The neighborhood is in a crater. Simply beautiful! So lush!!
Owners very graciously accommodated our departure timeline needs. Communication and generosity appreciated.

We stayed here for 10 days. it was a great location and clean. It's very useable for a family with kids and we were able to use the kitchen to help save on food costs while in Hawaii. It's close to one of the best family beaches on the island. The owners communicated well and made sure we were taken care of. 5 stars!

This Poipu Crater unit was the perfect accommodation for our family group. It easily fits four, with room for one more on the sofabed in the living room if necessary. The unit was clean and well equipped. The convenient and quiet location, along with the dedicated parking spot, added to the value. It's not the most luxurious apartment but it is definitely one of the best for the price.

Very comfortable condo, everything included that we needed. The beaches were a little farther than we anticipated. Pool and other tennis courts were right there and very nice.

This property had everything you needed. The location was wonderful…. The unique experience of staying here in a volcanic crater was so amazing. Jean was wonderful to deal with. I would definitely recommend this property. Hoping to get back in the future!

This place was great for us! Plenty of room, great kitchen and eating area, and plenty to do with the pool, tennis, and ping pong, as well as walking to Poipu Beach for every sunset. Would definitely stay again!

Condo is as advertised and the location is great. The ac is a welcome addition in the bedrooms as the tradewinds aren't as strong in the crater.

The property was close enough to the beach for a short walk to Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. You can reward yourself with great food at Brennecke's or Puka Hot Dog, which are right across from Poipu Breach. The owner (Jean) provided all the details we needed to know about the property and Kauai. You only share a common wall with one other unit and since it's 2-stories, you have no one above you. There is plenty of parking and each condo has assigned parking. It's very quiet during the day and night. The condo has everything you need away from and just need food if you'd like to cook your own meals. They have a grill and covered patio by the pool house. The condo is well-maintained and clean. My only complaint would be the sprinkler going off at 5am daily and when it shoots at the dried-up rubber tree leaves, it's not easy trying to sleep in. I would definitely stay at condo 27 again!

Poipu Crater is just lovely. We hesitated about renting there as knew we'd have no ocean view but upon entering the property, knew we'd made the right decision. The grounds are so lush with gorgeous Hawaiian greenery. The condo was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The lanai was very spacious with a lot of beach gear and Jean was an excellent host. She had great communication regarding check in and responded quickly to a question we had. Only downside was the spottiness of the WiFi but that may have had more to do with the site than the condo itself. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

The location was great...a short walk to watch the sunset at Poipu Beach, nice pool, BBQ and tennis courts. The house was well stocked and had beach stuff available. We would stay here again.

Great Quiet Location near Poipu Beach
Excellent experience overall. Parking right in front of condo. All the necessities included to cook. It was a nice bonus that there were good quality body boards to use as well as other beach items. Beaches are within 10 min walk. Our family really enjoyed this condo and Jean was a very responsive host.
