We were looking for somewhere to rest after a busy day on vacation and we found just that. Fantastic outdoor space with a grill and firepit(which we didn't need but it was cute). Washer and dryer to take care of laundry so you don't take home a bunch of dirty clothes. All around fantastic!

We had a really nice time at the home. It was close to Space Center Houston, Kemah and the Boardwalk. The house had a good atmosphere, and we had a blast.

This cute little sea shack was perfect for me and my husband during our visit to Kemah for a wedding. Everything was exactly as listed, we especially enjoyed the cozy fire pit on the porch. Stacy had a welcome basket with wine and goodies for us when we arrived. Overall a great place for a couple, would definitely come back!

This was the perfect location for our Memorial day weekend in Galveston and the surrounding areas for me, my husband and 5 yo. The area was peaceful and serene, close to the main roads to get us down to Kemah boardwalk, the Galveston Seawall, the Strand, Moody Gardens, and NASA. The home itself was charming,comfortable, and very clean. It was equipped with everything we needed to make us feel at home.

The "Sea Shack" was the perfect getaway! The location was the perfect distance to everything we wanted to do, including Galveston Island and parts of Seabrook and Kemah! Would recommend if you're looking for a quiet getaway within driving distance to the beach!

Property is locateed in a residental area about a quarter mile from Galveston Bay and a San Leon waterfront park. Area is very quiet; parking is limited on site, and shares an access road with 2 other properties. Close to Kemah Boardwalk and stores (HEB, Kroger, Wal-Mart all witin 5-6 miles). House is well stocked with kitchen items and full-sized appliances, plus a dishwasher. Very nicely decorated; ample storage in the bedroom and small walk-in closet. Bed was VERY comfortable. About 390 square feet inside, with a nice sized covered porch, gas grill, and gas fire pit (we did not use the fire pit). Only item it did not have was a hair dryer. Stacy was VERY easy to contact, responded promptly, and very accommodating. Overall, very nice! Would recommend!

Beautifully quiet but only a stone's throw away from everything! I've never been greeted with such hospitality and am so glad to have made the switch to VRBO. We are a couple of introverts, and the Sea Shack was absolutely amazing. 11/10, Definitely Recommend, y'all! Thank you for making our honeymoon special.

My husband and I wanted a weekend away from kids for just ourselves and this place was perfect!! It was only 35 minutes from our home so still close enough if there was an emergency. We didn’t need anything big but we wanted more privacy than a hotel could offer. It had everything we needed so we only had to bring ourselves, suitcases and some food as the description was spot on. House was very clean and everything inside was new and well kept. The host reached out to me way before check in and sent the code so there was no worry about getting inside. When we got there they even had 3 bottles of wine, a bottle of champagne, about 4 different single beers, and a basket of snacks so we could immediately kick up our feet and relax! Truly made the experience extra special! It says it sleeps 4 people but that would have been really tight. I would recommend this place to any couple wanting to get away and have some alone time!! My husband and I will definitely be back again!! Very soon!! I can’t put into words how much we loved our stay here this weekend!! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home !! ☺️

The location is a pretty quaint little beach town really close to the bay that has most stores you'd want within 15-20 minute drive, and some small small convenience stores right down the road. The property itself has an awesome view of the sunrise behind a horse pasture where the 2 horses can normally be seen from the bedroom window. When my wife and I first got to the place, we couldn't believe how nice it was inside for how small it was. The design and space use was well thought out. Overall we would definitely stay there again and would recommend friends and family to the location if they wanted to visit us and not have to stay in a hotel.

The host was so quick to respond, easy check in and she left us the nicest card for our anniversary. Close to everything we had planned to see and do. Will stay here again next trip To San Leon/Kemah.

This was my 1st time renting a place it was It was very nice it was decorated real beautiful had everything that I needed inside The adult beverages was very nice but I did not drink any I do not like to drink by myself Sandy is a very good host I would very well Recommend anybody that would like to stay at a nice comfortable little shack the sea shack is the one to stay at I hope I can come back here another time Yes I love the dogs and your grandson

So thankful that I stumbled onto this listing! Most adorable cottage cannot believe how much amenities have been packed into this wonderful space! The owner was quick to respond, and the home was immaculately clean. Loved my stay here definitely will be coming back!

It was so nice after being in the hustle and bustle of Galveston, to come back to this relaxing place. The neighborhood was so quiet. But you could go 4 blocks and be at the water,We would definetely stay again.

I booked this property as a writing retreat for myself. I needed a quiet place away from home and within my budget! The Sea Shack was EVERYTHING I needed! I was extremely comfortable and able to get a lot of work done! It was very conveniently located and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The host was truly helpful and kind! I would definitely return!

Everything was good. Communication was very good. Do wish the windows in the bedroom had darker coverings to block the morning sun and a covering on the kitchen window (but thats personal preference). Otherwise everything was what we needed.

I really didn’t have a chance to enjoy the property, I was gone all day every day doing medical stuff with family. I did like the location, it was very quiet and I needed that after the long days I endured while there. I would stay here again in the future if it isn’t booked. The host was very kind and patient with me and my minor problems. The house is cute and cozy.
