The property was exactly as advertised, clean, and easy to access. The location is perfect close to shopping and restaurants and a Tesla charging station. We could not have been happier with hour Vrbo choice and will come back again!

We were in San Diego for a wedding and enjoyed our stay in the unit. The unit had the right bed configuration to meet our needs (6 adults and 1 infant). It was well located for all our family gatherings and other family members stayed in other units in the same complex. We took advantage of the beach, pools and hot tubs.
This was our first Vrbo rental, so we didn't really know what to expect. We received good instructions for parking and entry into the unit. We did get a bit confused finding the unit the first time even with the map.
The only problem we had was probably due to the rain. I spoke with the owner about an ant invasion and we did what we could to keep them out of our food and belongings. After speaking with a neighbor that had stayed nearby every year for 30 plus years we found out that it's not an uncommon problem when it rains...
Other than a bit of rain (thank you hurricane Hilary) and a few ants we had a wonderful stay!

My family of 5 stayed here for 9 nights.
Pros:
-Great location. walk to shops/restaurants. short drive to SD, La Jolla, Encinitas etc. 1 hour drive to Disney.
-Great amenities, multiple pools, tennis courts, direct beach access
-Nice new furniture in condo, beds were comfortable, smart TV's etc.
-Owner was very responsive and helpful with a few minor issues.
-Wifi worked well
-Boogie boards and beach gear were appreciated
-Condos felt safe and secure
Cons:
-It felt clean overall but we found empty water bottles & trash under furniture upon arrival. Also the kitchen cabinets need a good wipe down/deep clean as they felt sticky.
-A new coffee maker is needed.
-Washer didn't always drain and we had issues doing laundry.
Overall, we would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone. We'd give it 4.5 stars and it wouldn't take much to be a 5 star experience.

We were very pleased with our three-bedroom condo at the Del Mar Beach Club (I'll concede that the mostly miserable February 2023 weather in the area was an anomaly). The owner promptly responded to all our questions and was very helpful in helping us navigate an unfamiliar area. The two-floor unit had everything we needed. The tennis court and pickle ball area were a terrific benefit as they provided much needed recreation (note that other residents were happy to include us!). We would not hesitate to return.

We stayed at Kyle's property for 10 days and had a wonderful time! The property is perfectly suited for families - we traveled with 4 adults and 2 children and there was ample space for all of us. The home is clean, warm and inviting and has all of the amenities you need. Kyle was prompt and clear with all communications. We needed to adjust our dates a couple of times due to flight changes and Kyle kindly accommodated our requests. If we're ever back in the San Diego area we'll be staying here again for sure!

Perfect location for vising with daughter who lives in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. Beautiful beaches and central to all our sightseeing. Clean and comfortable. Our "go to" vrbo location for future visits to San Diego.

Location is great at Solana beach. The property is across the street from the other building which has access to the beach.
The property doesn't have AC (which we missed from the description). It has a portable AC unit which works for one of the bedrooms upstairs. We did feel that having other AC units or even ceiling fans was needed (they have some small fans).
The unit is remodeled and the furniture was new which was really nice.

The private beach access was a big perk to us as the beach there was less crowded. We had local family visit us there and they were all amazed at how clean the beach was, the private bathrooms and the safety of the area. We enjoyed staying in a residential area and the gated features (sometimes malfunctioned) helped us feel very safe with our 4 small children. They even had a few air mattresses for additional sleeping options if needed. The laundry facilities in the lower bathroom were also a huge perk!
The only down side was the lack of air conditioning. The weather was perfect for me being so close to the ocean but a little warm for my husband. The fans were helpful but AC would be exceptional.
As for the confusion at check in- the property manager compensated us with a gift card which was above and beyond our expectations.
We would love the chance to stay at this property again.

Awesome location and beach access!
This was a great property, very nicely appointed. The only negative is lack of central air conditioning. Even though it is close to the beach and the nice ocean breezes, it could get a bit warm. But everything else was great, would stay again and recommend to others.

Wonderful week
I would highly recommend this property. It was clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The owner was extremely helpful. The unit is a short walk (few minutes) to the beautiful beach. We were lucky to see dolphins swimming one day! Beautiful area and about a half hour from San Diego. We enjoyed visiting the nearby coastal towns. So many things to do; wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Extra welcoming and accommodating hosts, you can’t go wrong! The spot is excellent for access to the beach: we surfed, played pétanque, swam, ran and enjoyed everything Del Mar has to offer. Conveniently located to groceries, etc. as well. Clean and lovely. Highly recommend
