This was a wonderful apartment. It was beautiful and functional. We will choose it again every time.

Have been remiss in sharing our awesome stay last February. The studio was fully stocked with many little thoughtful touches. The Hideaway team even purchased a tea pitcher before we arrived when I had asked if they had one. But by far, the best was the amazing lanai with the expansive ocean views. We spent many hours there and saw some incredible whale activity without going anywhere. And of course, lots of turtles. It was very hard to break away!

We loved staying at this property, it had so much charm. It was our first stop on our trip to Hawaii and there were incredible views everywhere. My husband and I enjoyed whale watching and walking to see all the views nearby. Would highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. Watching the beautiful sunset’s every evening, seeing countless turtles and watching the whales from our lanai.

This beautiful hideaway was just as advertised. The room was gorgeous and had everything we needed. I especially loved how close we were to the ocean. We saw a whale from our balcony when we first arrived. The best part was that we saw sea turtles every afternoon from our balcony and in front of our unit. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I cannot express how amazing our experience was at the Hula Hideaway property. My Fiance and I rented this VRBO for our elopement/honeymoon and everything was beyond perfect. The property itself was updated, clean, and had everything we needed for our week long stay! We bought things like toilet paper and paper towels before we checked in, but didn't end up needing them. The property owner made us feel so welcome and helped us when we couldn't find the parking space upon arrival. They were so attentive and kind. We saw multiple whales and sea turtles from the Lanai (which will be one of my favorite memories from the trip). If you're considering staying here, I can't recommend this property enough. This place was amazing! The inside was decorated beautifully and felt cozy. We however spent as much time as possible out on the lanai watching for whales and turtles. It was so close to the ocean we sometimes got splashed by the waves! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if we are back in Maui.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We stayed for 5 nights and spent a lot of our time at the property! You can see so many whales, Lana’i, Moloka’i, and beautiful sunsets from the deck. It had everything we needed to make a simple dinner and some breakfast. The location was perfect for being close to lots of things on the island and within walking distance of some beaches. Thank you for a beautiful stay, we will be back!

We stayed for two nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The view from the bed and from the lanai were gorgeous. We had many whale sightings from the unit. The only thing we regretted about our stay was that it wasn't long enough! We were out and about on excursions and dining for much of our trip, so we didn't get to fully enjoy all of the tranquility that the condo had to offer. Would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would recommend for improvement would be black-out curtains on the windows facing the street. The lights in the hall and from the street are bright, which did not bother me so much, but my husband who likes a very dark space did find that to be bothersome.

This was a great place for a couple! Very comfortable bed, nicely appointed and furnished, and the lanai was an awesome place to lounge, eat meals, and watch whales, turtles and windsurfers. We loved our stay! My only criticism would be low water pressure in the shower.

Let me begin by saying Jill was great with prompt responses and quick action/communication. This rental is dreamy. Located near other resorts and rental properties, this place is very well decorated and many amenities including binoculars, usb charger, tons of plug outlets for devices. The binoculars are for watching the whales from the Lanai. The lanai is spectacular and so is the day bed. I found myself sleeping there listening to waves crash against the seawall right in front of it. I caught some little turtles floating near the waves/water closest to the shore. It was such a nice and intimate place, we didn’t want to leave. Some stores, bars, gas station within walking distance. The beaches are a short drive from here as you don’t really have any beach area behind the property to hang out on. There is a picnic table, grill and a couple recliner lawn chairs in the back by the seawall. There is also a good sized pool across the street behind the main building. I highly recommend for any one single or with a partner to try this gem of a place in Kahana very close to Lahaina.

We had a wonderful week long stay. It is the perfect size for a couple. Everything we needed in one place. Especially the breathtaking sunset views. We also really enjoyed watching the kite surfers from the deck. Very quiet area and nice to have restaurants within walking distance. I can't wait to go back. Mahalo!

No need for luxury accommodations like the Grand Wailea. THIS gem had it all and MORE. As a Maui local and now a visitor, this space is charming and radiant as it is on the water like few hotels can provide. The vibe and decor is uplifting. Also, so close - walking distance - to coffee, shops, beaches, etc.

Absolutely beautiful! This condo was so clean and beautifully decorated. It was well stocked with everything you could need. Beautiful ocean views, and the day bed on the lanai was such a wonderful spot to hang out. Bed is very comfortable. Lots of local shops and food. Property manager is incredibly responsive and helpful. There is no beach access on the property, and is about a 5 minute walk, with much of it without side walks. It certainly is not a deal breaker, but if mobility or bathroom access is an issue, it might be something to consider. We would definitely return!

Spent four days on Maui on our way back from Japan. The condo was perfect for our stay. All the amenities anyone would need for a beach vacation. It was nicely decorated, very clean, and comfortable.

We chose this place(Hulahideaway)to relax for the final 4 days of our holiday after being based on the North shore and exploring Maui for 9 days. We were so happy when we opened the door and were captivated by the view as we entered the apartment. The decor was beautiful and you feel you are right on top of the ocean when lying on the bed it is as if you are on a boat. Great beaches only a short walk away and shops nearby. We just loved relaxing on the Lanai watching the stunning sunsets and cute turtles. The apartment also had everything we needed for enjoying cooking our own meals. We hope to return to Maui in the future and would definitely check availability of this place as it is an absolute gem. Thanks for a great stay to end the perfect holiday.

Loved that it had AC. You don't need to leave the AC on long because it will cool down this studio unit fast. The only thing I wish it had was a a full length mirror. That way we could see ourselves and our outfits before heading out. A mirror in the living room space would be extra helpful so one person can get ready in the bathroom and the other in the main room. This studio was stocked with everything including a full function kitchen and super super clean!! The lanai is spacious and comfortable. Oh the bed here was super comfy too. You have a parking space right next to your unit and super easy parking!! It was nice to have access to a laundry room across the street so we could pack lightly coming to Maui. We stayed here after the terrible fire in Lahaina August 2023. All of the locals and businesses greeted us and thanked us a million times for coming. You will feel welcomed so please come and spend time in Maui. They need the tourism. I give this studio a 5 star review and would stay here again. It is romantic, quiet and relaxing.

Fantastic unit! Delivers everything and more listed in ad. Great location in proximity to Napili and world class snorkeling. The kitchen is stocked with more than just the essentials, bbq grill onsite, tennis rackets, and beach items for use. Lovely spot to stay!

We needed a place for two nights before our family arrived in Maui. This studio condo was in a great location. Very well appointed and an unbeatable view for those fabulous Maui sunsets. Lots of turtles to watch along the seawall below and just a really relaxing and nice place. Highly recommend.
