We came up for snowmobiling and had a great time! The home was well equipped for everything we were looking for inquiry kitchen supplies bedding a warm home overall we were very happy

I gave a 3 because it was clean. I am not bashing the host because she may be new at this. But.. I have been renting these home for several years so I know what to expect. I just think future guests should know. There were only 3 forks and I think 4 spoons. No butter knives. No fry pans or sauce pans. Only huge pots. The refrigerator was RV size won’t fit a bag of ice or very many groceries. Could not use ceiling fan in bedroom. Don’t think the yard has been mowed all year. Tried to put garbage in container and it was full. I have never given a bad rating, feel bad about this one but people need to know what not to expect.

It was available when no others were. It had basic requirements. It smelled very strong of pot from cleaning staff or previous occupants. Outside is in very poor condition. Inside is ok with very old poor condition furniture. No ac in bedroom. It had Wi-Fi and amenities to function. I would not stay there again.

Overall we are grateful for the home we could rent. It was pricey for what was not offered. The silverware consisted of 3 forks, knives and spoons. We did not have a toaster or a pan to cook in the oven. Fridge was small and had leftover freezer items from previous renters. The rental stated it could sleep 6. We had 2 couches(not pull out beds), a day bed, and a double bed. I had to use my own twin air mattress while my kid and husband slept on a couch and my mother in the double bed. My daughter used the day bed. A dirty wash cloth was left behind from previous renters. Positive note: air conditioning was nice and shower. Also, not far from Lakeshore Park. Nice spray pad and beach. Beautiful sunset and restaurants close by.

Great central location for our stay in L’Anse. We road our motorcycles up from Texas. Stayed a few days and then headed back down. A washer and dryer would be nice but otherwise had everything we needed.

Great spot to stay to do anything you love outside.

I have multiple rental properties in various areas and this property would need quite a bit of work before I would consider renting it; 1) bedroom light/fan no globe and fan chain broken off 2) upper kitchen cabinet door missing a panal 3) bathroom sink hot / cold lines reversed 4) no closer on front screen door 5) cracked glass in window 6) not sure Michigan code but one fire alarm is probably not enough 7) steps up to front door could be wider than a couple of feet 8) outside of the house and soffit are a mess that is all I can remember but you should be embarrassed to rent that property in that condition

We never stayed because it was dirty, smelt like smoke, didn’t match the pictures or amenities described on the Vrbo listing. We have tried calling the host or messaging her 8 times and she will not respond back. We ended up leaving and getting a hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great location. Easy to get to on a sled. We wished there was more to do in town. No restaurants or taverns. Maybe covid?

We needed a relatively close location to stay for the MTU Winter Carnival. L'Anse and this nice little home fit the bill. It was priced well and gave us a place to rest our heads for two nights.
