The property was gorgeous, in a convenient location, and had the perfect layout for our family. We will definitely be coming back!

8 of us in a business learning group from Utah stayed here for our annual retreat. Utilizing this space as a base of operations for 4 nights was perfect. We held meetings on the main level which had plenty of seating as well as a large dining table to sit around at other times. October is beautiful and we spent a good amount of time outdoors hiking, biking, and golfing. The manager Derek, was very helpful. I booked the space several months prior to our stay and asked a lot of questions about the area, things to do, and people we could meet with as part of our learning activities. He was quick to respond and happy to share his vast knowledge of the area. Utilizing his recommendations we had a great time and couldn't recommend staying here more. Thanks Derek!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Whitefish and Glacier with our extended family (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews. The house was beautiful and functional! There was plenty of space for everyone. Thanks so much.

Our family likes plenty of space and Wood Lodge Run provided it. Very convenient location and tons of nature's beauty around you. The large kitchen, dining, family room worked well for us. My grandkids loved the bunkroom and the hot tub. The adults enjoyed the nearby restaurants, shopping and hiking. The kids liked the Alpine slide, the ATVs plus boating on the lake.

We had a family reunion, adults, kids and a toddler and a baby. Plenty of room for us to gather especially in the main living room. Tv room downstairs and bunk beds were perfect for kids. The 2 washer and dryers also came in handy, and everyone loved the hot tub. Derek was very helpful during our stay.

If you are looking for a beautiful, well kept property with all the best amenities and a "to die for" view, look no further. This house is absolutely wonderful. Beautifully furnished, fully stocked, upscale amenities, no detail left out. The location is perfect! Right on the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Our family of 12, crossing 4 generations from ages 10 to 84, had more than enough room in this spacious home. The 4 kids described the queen double-bunk room as "epic". Everything you would look for in an upscale home is here. The icing on the cake is Derek, who owns and hosts this property. Before we showed up, Derek reached out to us several times and offered to help us with absolutely anything we needed to make our family vacation special. The check-in process was a breeze, and Derek took the time to stop by and see if there was anything they could do for us, and to offer recommendations for shopping, restaurants, site-seeing, Glacier NP "insider" tips and locales, and pretty much anything else we could think of. He also provided us with some bear spray! Luckily we didn't need it. :-) Derek, thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your amazing property and for being the perfect host. I am very picky, and I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a 5-star experience.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed! The house was clean and very well stocked with everything you will need. ALL of the beds were extremely comfortable, there was plenty of space for all 13 guests and the views are AMAZING! Derek was super responsive to any questions that we had during our stay and regularly checked-in to make sure we were well taken care of and had everything we needed. I will 100% be renting this property again when I am back in Whitefish!

This home has everything you would want for a large group of adults and children! There are areas for children to have their space and space for the adults! The home has a great kitchen with two large refrigerators and two dishwashers. Plenty of eating space for all. When you have a large family, bath linens are a very big need. Don’t worry, this home has more than plenty. The deck has great views of the ski runs, the mountain and the glacier. When you have a large family, another plus was having two washer/dryer sets. The ski in/ski out was great, by the middle of the week the grandkids had it down. Fun to watch. Derek, the owner was great to work with. Easy to communicate with any needs or questions. Our family has been doing a Spring ski trip for ten years, this home was the best ever! My grandson said it was, “real good”. Simply said, this home is PERFECT! I look forward to a return to 320A Wood Run!

This place is absolutely perfect. Our group has been doing annual ski trips for the past 6 years, and this is one of the best trips we’ve had. Incredibly spacious, beautiful views both day and night, and a quick easy walk to the home again trail which takes you down to the lifts. Derek is awesome, super communicative and very flexible in helping our group out with anything we needed. He even dropped off a gift basket for us! We’ll definitely be booking this place again if it’s available.

This place was excellent! We had multiple families with a wide range of ages and everyone had something to do. The teen boys loved watching movies in the bunk room and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. The huge kitchen worked when preparing meals for as many as 28 people! Easy access to the Home Again run and communication with Derek was top notch. We will definitely look to rent from him when we return next winter.

Loved staying in this house. Our party of 14 was more than comfortable in this well-equipped place. With snow, it's a super easy ski-in and ski-out experience - especially with Chair 4 now open! Derek was super responsive and easy to deal with. If a future Whitefish trip were in the cards, I'd definitely stay here again.

We had our entire family of 12 stay at the wood run lodge and it was the perfect space for all the kids to run around and stay entertained with the hottub, air hockey, ping pong, and card games in the house. There was beautiful views of glacier and big mountain and there were plenty of beds for everyone to have their own space at night. We definitely look forward to having the family back here!

Very nice property on Big Mountain! My fiancee and I planned this trip with us and 15 of our family members, there is plenty of room in this house! The owner went out of his way to accommodate us, we would love to go back one day. Look no further if you want great views, and a clean nice place!

The property was perfect for our group of eight with plenty of bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a hot tub off the deck, views of the ski resort, and plenty of couch space for relaxing. Hiking from the house to the top of the mountain and watching deer walk by the side yard were a bonus. Highly recommend it!

We loved Wood Run Lodge! Exceptional quality. Very clean. Lots of space for our party of four couples. The amenities were as advertised and the host was very responsive. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This property was exactly as listed, it was big, immaculate, plenty of room for 14, stocked nicely. The host "Derek' was very responsive, gave us a lot of local info on restaurants, and activities, and offered help in any way he could. Check in and check out was simple, easy to find. The hot tub was a great asset to the long days of hiking and sightseeing! We will definitely stay there again if we can. Randy Basinger

The house is located in whitefish ski mountain! It is four floors, we had five families stay there and three generations. It was big enough for everyone to be together and also never feel cramped. The hot tub overlooks the mountain, a great way to end the day. There is a beautiful short walk to the gondola for the alpine slides and hiking. Its a ten minute drive down the mountain into whitefish. Derek was extremely responsive and helpful, and has great recommendations from restaurants to hikes in glacier. This is a great place!

Great place for a large group such as ours. Had a few hiccups but Derek, the owner, was always just a text away and went above and beyond to make everything right. If we're blessed with another trip, will stay here again!

Our group of 15 stayed here for a small company retreat, and it was amazing. This was the perfect place to come back to after our long days at Glacier. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for nights where we cooked dinner and shared a meal, the large living space was great for games and group conversations, and the bedrooms were very private and comfortable for all of our guests. We would definitely stay here again.

There was supposed to be a commercial size refrigerator. Unfortunately it broke down prior to our visit. The landlord gave us refrigerator half a size for 24 people. This was very inconvenient and expensive. Since there were 5 family’s. So to keep extra food and beverages cold we had to buy ice for coolers. After paying for a driving trip from Minnesota to Montana and a rental place. Just had bad feelings about our experience with the way it was handled with no compassion.

The house was beautiful and very spacious. There were 22 of us and everyone had a bed. The kitchen was the center of most activity. All of our meals were cooked, served, prepared, or made for picnics in this spacious kitchen.. There were plenty of cooks, samplers, eaters and coaches. Actually the only complaint if had was the fact the refrigerator was broken in the kitchen so food was stored in large refrigerator in the garage. But since we had so many young healthy people - it was no problem for them to bring up what was needed. I know this was not the fault of the owner as a new refrigerator was on order. Thank you Derek for sharing your beautiful home with our family.

There was plenty of room in this house. The amenities were outstanding. Everything from the hot tub to the ping-pong table to the ice hockey table were a huge hit for both kids and adults. The kitchen and family room were great for large gatherings. Derek is a wonderful host. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip.

Such a wonderful host and beautiful property! My fiancé (now husband) and I traveled from Pennsylvania with our closest friends and family to be married. Having never been to Montana, our host Derek went out of his way to ensure our visit went seamless. He assisted in locating the wedding venue, offered rental car services, opened up his neighboring property to allow for the overflow of guests, was able accommodate early check in and a late stay for guests who's flights had changed. I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Woodrun Lodge and The Homestead properties. Both homes had a hot tub with a gorgeous view, were spotless clean and spacious enough to accommodate our large party. Our guests had an amazing time and we had the wedding of our dreams. Not to mention gorgeous photos to accompany the day (the mountain side master has a view you will want to wake up to forever)! We absolutely hope to return and utilize this amazing rental again.

The pictures do not do it justice. The house and views are beautiful! I am pretty particular about the cleanliness of a place, especially since I have a crawler...and the cleanliness of the floors exceeded my expectations. We had a large family group and there was plenty of space to accommodate a large or small gathering on the several levels of gathering areas. It was super quiet and felt very secluded even though it was in a neighborhood. The alpine slides, gondolas, arial adventure ropes course, etc is just a walk down the hill. It was perfect for our group who were going at all different times. You won't find better hosts either. They are so kind and can give you all the best spots in the area and at Glacier. You won't regret staying here and hope to go back again!
